Why multiply by tens when you can use the convenience of twelves?? EXACTLY. They wonder why American schools are the best in the world, but clearly its because we challenge our brains! They multiple by silly tens for everything, when we use extremely complex conversions with no consistency what-so-ever! Quarts are 1/4 gallons, a pint is 1/2 a quart, and then 1 pint is 16 ounces. Want to know what that does? Makes us smarter. Hur de hur hur. Just to prove how smart I am, I had to look up those conversions on the internet! I know that EB has been becoming more American ( ) but there are still lots of members in Europe, plus a lot of important staff in Australia and myself in Asia. Worldbricks would have been the more sensible change, that was voted down from what I've heard. I will continue to support the site, since I've put a lot of hours in here over the past five years, but I expect the site to haemorrhage users over this change.

I always liked EB as a symbol of the unity of people of Europe and their friends. Now we're getting something rather different. I won't leave EB, since I've spent so much great time here, but it will never be the same from now. I hope noone around here learns that I'm a member of ameribricks.com now!
