Waterbrick Down Posted April 25, 2013 Author Posted April 25, 2013 QM Note: I'll run this as soon as Dyric specifies his target. Chromeknight, you are not equipping the shackles, correct?
Chromeknight Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 Readying her mace, Nerwen pushed the shackles of war back into her satchel, not wanting them to fall out and get lost. If her party was going to cook quickly there was no time to put them on. Speaking to the cyclops she said I'm sorry, I did not catch your name earlier. What might we call you?

CorneliusMurdock Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 Dyric, please pay attention. Cronk was supposed to be second in battle order to counterstrike goat. Now that counterstrike is wasted. Switch weapon, also, so Dyric can damage Sugar.
The Legonater Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 Dyric cleared his head. He knew the lack of sleep would have messed with his concentration, but this... OOC: :wall: Really sorry about that.
posades Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 "I think I have a plan. Nerwen is in possession of 3 Ice Bombs; if she throws one each round, she will K.O. every opponent except for the Carp, and leave the Cow and Goat extremely crippled. If Cronk were to counterstrike those animals, I believe he could defeat them within 3 rounds."
Chromeknight Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 That is a good idea Xander. So, you the three of you will take an animal each, leaving one for Cronk to counterstrike. I can sort the others. Keep using your weapon Dyric, and leave Cronk at the top of the battle order since the pig is gone now. Nerwen rummages in her satchel for her bombs. Pulling out some Ice and Fire bombs, she waits for the others to each claim an animal.
CorneliusMurdock Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 That is very good plan, Xander! Friends should do that. Cronk should counter Chicken next round to get out of way.
The Legonater Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 (edited) I'll take the goat, being lucky I hopefully won't trigger its special. This battle order isn't final, but just to be make sure: Xander Cronk Nerwen Dyric Again, sincerest apologies for my mistakes last round. Edited April 26, 2013 by The Legonater

posades Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 (edited) "Cronk, the Chicken will fall with the first Ice Bomb, so there is no need to counter that particular foe. I would concentrate on countering the Cow, unless you would like to Counter a different foe. And just to be safe, is there a way to have Nerwen act before you, Dyric? Even though you are lucky, having Nerwen stunned for a round would be devastating. I can attack the Carp, and if I roll damage I can heal myself next round with a potion." OoC: Pretty sure we can just counter strike the Cow from here, since it's weak to Ice. Just leaves the Carp, which should go this round, and then the Goat which Dyric can hopefully take care of within 3 rounds. Right? Edited April 26, 2013 by posades
CorneliusMurdock Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 (edited) EDIT: Cronk thanks Xander for pointing that out. Then Cronk should probably not act this round or heal. And since Chicken will be KO'd with Bomb, Cronk can remain first in battle order, correct? Wait, Cronk has Scroll. Cronk could try sealing Goat just to lessen chances of Special Damage effecting Nerwen. Cronk will cast Scroll of Sealing on Goat from front row. Edited April 26, 2013 by CorneliusMurdock
Chromeknight Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 I am not certain the chicken goes down this round. Since it flies, the bomb will do its usual amount of damage, only 5 of 10 points. Perhaps I am wrong on this score? "I don't think the patrons exactly had frozen dinners in mind, but what ever floats your boat I guess." Fear not Sash, I have a firebomb here which will do the same job.
posades Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 "Yes, you are correct Nerwen. I thought Flying was weak to ice; either way, though, the chicken will be no more after two rounds of bombs, so a free hit would probably be better served with the cow."
CorneliusMurdock Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 So Dyric, Cronk should definitely go second in the battle order because Chicken will give free hit first. Keep in mind, friend Nerwen, that fire will not be super effective against Goat. If Dyric is able to do damage, it should not matter, but it might.
posades Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 Xander attacks the Carp from the back row with his bow.
Chromeknight Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 (edited) That is true, Cronk. The Mountain Goat is difficult to cook since it resists heat. But it is not a problem. The cow will knock itself out on your shield this turn after being toasted by a firebomb. Then the goat can batter away at your shield in the two remaining goes Sash has given us. Even if Dyric does nothing but pick up coins, we still can serve goat. Look at this stovetop! It is a wonder you can cook anything on this. Let me get the fire going hotter! Chromeknight Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 Dyric, I have only suggested the order we battle... er.. cook in. It is your call as party leader to make a final call on that.
The Legonater Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 (edited) OOC: I've been updating the original BL as we went. I know Nerwen, just... erm... alright, I can't think of a good excuse for my delay. Final BL: Xander Cronk Nerwen Dyric Edited April 26, 2013 by The Legonater
Waterbrick Down Posted April 27, 2013 Author Posted April 27, 2013 (edited) "Well, looks like almost all the meat is back on the menu! 2 more rounds left." Xander manages to shish kabob the Silver Carp on an arrow as Cronk seals the Mountain Goat. Slightly confused by it's inability to bleet, the horned beast quickly falls to an arrow from Dyric's bow. Nerwen pulls the pin on a fire bomb and the heat of the explosive sets the whole kitchen on medium well. Cronk swirls his cape like a bull fighter, Cronk goads the raging bovine into charging at him. The beast barely dents the paladin's armor before Cronk efficiently brings home the beef. PREPARE FOR BATTLE COOKING!
