"Bah! These tunnels remind me of the vault where we tore those proggs to shreds," I grumble. "Erik, remember that hall where Daxus got separated from the rest of us? Odd business that was. I am glad we slew the Death Progg."

Sylph chuckled. "Actually... my crew slayed the Death Progg... And I believe we fought someone named Daxus as well.. Dreyrugr, why don't you check out the right route and call out if you find anything worthy of our attention, otherwise come back. Take Erik and Nessa with you. The rest of us can wait here."

Sorry I didn't get on recently.

"Shouldn't take long, I'm used to the dark. But if I go by myself I can escape quickly if things get tough. If you think Nessa and Erik should come with me would you mind sparing me a smoke bomb?"

"I was thinking about the buddy-system, but, you're right. You'd do better alone."

I dug with my Magic Shovel.

"Impossible! I slew the Death Progg myself. Pierced it through his visor, between the eyes and through his very brain. I know how to kill a beast when I see it. Maybe the one you killed was a lesser one trying to follow in the footsteps of his master and called himself by the same name. Besides, you cannot have fought Daxus. Mizuki burned his body and we buried the ashes. The man you fought must have been an impostor."

My face burns red, but the darkness of the sewer prevents it from being clearly discernible. Still, my voice can hardly be described as calm.

"In any case, I prefer if Erik and Nessa don't follow the vampire, lest it be a trap. Although let's pray to God that he doesn't go down there and collect some felons of his to ambush us."

"Just as a thought but don't you teo think we have more important things to do than talking about long gone fights. I guess your 'swords' are long enough. So would you mind to stop showing off?" Nessa asked annoyed by the discussion of Prezel and Sylph.

OOC: pleeeeaaase stop spoilering :sweet:

I still have to read through a lot of quests

Sylph chuckled. "Fine, I suppose it is pointless to debate this. I just did not want the Monk to be misinformed. Furthermore, I don't have a sword, only a bow."

"Ok, so you have a 'long bow'" Nessa said a bit too appealing.

OOC: Long Bow Sylph(er)

Hmmh, it was more funny in my head :sweet:

"Don't try to fool me. I can smell the scent of mushrooms from a mile away. What did you discover, creature of the netherworld?"

My hand slips onto the steak in my cart, should the demon before me spring an ambush.

"I know what I fought. A mad, exceedingly powerful Progg Prince named Rhodus, the Death Progg, and an undead monstrosity called Daxus, which wielded a mighty sword that grew more powerful with each successful hit." Stated Sylph calmly.

"Daxus? An undead monstrosity? You must be thoroughly mistake. Daxus was no monstrosity. Erik was there on our party, he will tell you. We slew the Death Progg. Are you proposing that he lived? Clearly the one you fought was merely a follower. How long ago was it that you fought these beasts, were there many of them? I heard the new Black Knight, poor kid, talking about fighting proggs, but that's about as far as it went. I'm glad I finally rid myself of that pest that made his home in my cart for such a long while. He was all fascinated by explosives, and was really excited about tagging along with me to go on my quest for a alchemist working with the Guild of Invision, but he couldn't keep up with me. Good riddance, I say. Nasty beings those proggs!"

"Just as a thought but don't you teo think we have more important things to do than talking about long gone fights. I guess your 'swords' are long enough. So would you mind to stop showing off?" Nessa asked annoyed by the discussion of Prezel and Sylph.

"Long gone fights? I take offense. The druid is discrediting one of the heroes who gave his life for the cause that Heroica lives for. An refers to him in equal terms to that of an abomination. One must at least respect the dead and let them rest where they can and not tarnish their reputation with destructive lies."

"What you mean by 'our swords being long enough'? I have no idea to what you are referring. I own no sword since I took up the clerical mantle. I am not showing off anything either."

OoC: Don't read the following herrJJ:  Spoilers ahead.

"Hm. I guess you didn't know, but the Proggs invaded Lousch. They sacked the Town and almost conquered the rest of Eubric, but my men and I struck back, killing the Three Princes, The returning Death Progg, Rhodus, who lost an arm in a previous encounter with the heroes, A tentacled behemoth called Aquos, and a winged fiend known as Eidolon. They were all under the manipulation of an ancient entity known as The Regret. He possessed the power to revive the dead, and did so for the fallen hero, Daxus. I apologize if you feel as if I am miss-portraying events."

Posted (edited)

I stagger slightly.

"This 'Regret' was a Necromancer, then, of sorts?"

Still Spoilers.

"Of sorts... He had torn his soul in twain for power and was bent on destroying all humanity... but he's not going to be doing that any time soon. We killed him." Stated Sylph flatly.

"Good to hear. If only the world could be rid of such pestilences."

I turn away. No matter how much it may not have been his fault, it didn't feel good to hear how Daxus' body had been used as a tool of a netherworldly being.

"Indeed. Our world is quite sick. It is up to true Heroes to heal Olegaia... To purge it of its diseases."
