It was great fun, Tammo, and I quite enjoyed the LDD storytelling.

Thank you; I'm glad you had fun! :sweet:

I wasn't sure how the LDD graphics would turn out, but you did a great job  with the pictures and you put together a compelling story. Good job running this!

Funny you should say this; I actually said the same thing to Tammo after the first day. The setup was awesome and the story was superbly told.

I have to admit, I was a bit doubtful of how I'd do with that at first too, but some GIMP skills and a lot of patience paid off, apparently!

Thanks for all your support now and throughout the game, guys! You've all made my first hosting experience a great one, and I'll definitely be trying to bring you all back to Silver City for more fun later on in the year!

Thanks for a fantastic game Tammo. I had a ton of fun, and it's obvious to see how much effort you put into the setup. The settings were great even though it was in LDD, and I loved the story and each characters' background. Looking through the roles, it seemed reasonably well-balanced - we scum had a good arsenal of roles, but the town had a masonry, which, well, I don't think any of us suspected.

Thanks, Pie!

I originally had the town with an arsenal of all sorts of BS roles: bulletproof, oracle (can choose one person to reveal at night, if killed/lynched, that person's role is revealed the next day), tracker/watcher combo, etc., but after seeing how well balanced Zepher's game was (minus the pills ) with the mirroring roles, I couldn't resist shortening it. Maybe I'll pull out all the stops for a role madness next game.

I was the level headed one! Trumpet had an uncontrollable urge to claim and Danny was overly joyful that we would win! Lol!

Ahaha, true, true!! You should see my notes from the time when Trumpet was insisting on gambitting.

And Danny's 'victory dance' was awesome. In fact, everything he did in the writeboard was awesome.

First win on the record, yes! Thank you so much, Tammo, for hosting this, and good game Town! And you scummy scumbuddies of mine know you rock.

You are very welcome!

This scum team really had a great harmony going on throughout the game. They all (mostly) had the same ideas about what to do, but were all really accepting of differing plans (especially the super smart ideas like Purpearl's - she called out both LegoDad and jamesn iirc) when they arose. Not to mention that they were arguably the most town-looking people in-thread (along with fhomess and Scuba). Awesome coyote pack!

I'm back! :devil_laugh:

Great game! I had a blast tricking you all! To be clear, I was busy IRL for most of the time, but that doesn't mean I wasn't scum. I was pleasantly surprised that my inability to vote was a "Town-Tell."

I was the level headed one! Trumpet had an uncontrollable urge to claim and Danny was overly joyful that we would win! Lol!

Overly? They lost midday yesterday when Boris claimed. We met very little serious opposition the whole game. (Which is not to say we weren't working hard the whole time) I couldn't help but start partying a little earlier. I got my karmic deserts when I almost got my well deserved bandwagon five seconds before the end. I literally could not stop laughing. I just had to send TPRU a PM response. It was the first time I had to defend myself the whole game.

Thanks a bunch for the game Tammo! You did great!

It wasn't an uncontrollable urge! I was clarifying things! Scummo.

Naw, you pretty much are addicted to overly convoluted schemes involving as much claiming as possible.

This!

Had TPRU, Peanuts and Fhomess been able to start working together earlier, we would have been in trouble. I don't know if you recall but in one post Fhomess actually named 80% of the scum team and listed them as suspects. Fhomess analysis of behaviour combined with peanuts's knowledge of PRs and TPRU's assertiveness would surely have spelt doom for us or at least made it more difficult!

I would also like to apologize to DD for killing her off on the first night, in our eyes she was too strong of a player and would inevitably have become the town leader. Sorry!

I don't remember insisting that we gambit, I remember it as just a suggestion. But then again, my memory sucks. Just remember, you didn't even survive your own conclusion, Tammo  I do love a good gambit attempt, though, I'll admit to that.

Tammo, thanks again for having me and congrats on the great game. I loved what you were able to do with the LDD. Great job, scum team. It was pretty obvious by about Day 4 that this game was over, since the town was losing PR's left and right and there were no serious threats to the scum team at all. I loved being a 3rd party, even though we were aligned with the town. It was nice to be able to truly act townie but the role still had that hint of secrecy since we had our own conditions for victory. This puts me at 0-3 so far, still looking for that elusive win.

You're so lucky I wasn't playing.

Who knows what that would have been like?! That would have been amazing fun!

That's why I was able to relax a little. If you were playing I would've gone insane trying to look as townie as possible. I hate playing you as scum. :hmpf_bad::tongue:

Tamamono, thanks again for the great game! LDD's pretty good, I enjoyed reading and am impressed what you can do with LDD. And great work scum team for the clean sweep!:wink:

Nice work scum. I was pretty well convinced that Trumpet, CMP, and the role cop, whoever it was, was scum by the last day, along with PPBJ and Danny. However, given that TBW killed mostlytechnic, who I was certain was town, I didn't think he was being honest about working with us. I figured we were pretty much doomed either way so we might as well gamble that Mencot was janitored because he was scum. I think my game lent itself well to being a vanilla replacement. Thanks for the fun game, Tammo.

Well, that was a disaster. Thanks for hosting a great game, Tammo, I had a lot of fun.

Why didn't anyone get Tristan to out the rolecop when various people (TPRU in particular) voiced suspicions? Why did we lynch Esther?

I thought for sure that mostlytechnic was the role cop, so I didn't really pursue the role cop any further.Since mostlytechnic came across as a townie to me, I was inclined to believe Trumpetking's story.

I got my karmic deserts when I almost got my well deserved bandwagon five seconds before the end. I literally could not stop laughing. I just had to send TPRU a PM response. It was the first time I had to defend myself the whole game.

Your PM after the day was over had me thinking you must be town. I knew the game had ended at that point, so I didn't expect a scum to bother coming up with a defense. So nice job, I guess.

This was a great game, Tammo! You were an awesome host and I loved the comics.

Great setup too. I was certain, though, that town would have another vig of sorts given I was only 50% effective (based on the odds).

Targetted Kristel on day 1 and we got lucky!

That was a bummer. Why me? I'm curious whether I gave off any hints that I had a PR?

I really feel the need to apologize to Kristel. I really did not want to kill you. I wanted to avoid killing you, since you die on night one just about every darn time. However, we found out you were the vig and we just couldn't keep you. :sceptic:

You should apologise! That was a horrible thing to do.

Only kidding. No need to apologise. Scum played a good game.

A plea to all future scum teams: Please let me live past Night 2! Pretty please?

Your unusual quietness was mentioned. Usually that's a sign of scum or PR.

You're so lucky I wasn't playing.

I think one of my first posts on the board was that we were lucky that no 'mafia big guns' (yourself, Def, Shadows, Rufus, etc.) were playing and that these absences would probably result in a leaderless town; which was the case!

Thanks for the fun game, Tammo.

No problem!

Thanks, Kristel! :sweet:

Yeah, in hindsight, giving you full killing powers would have been better. I originally restricted the Hunter's kills to prevent any more Trumpetking vigs (), but I suppose the choice to save or ruin town should be in the hands of the vigilante, not the host.

You were the only two Scum I knew for sure and Tammo was nice enough to confirm my suspicions. We were talking behind the scenes about mechanics anyway. I thought Danny might be, but honestly, as many times as Danny has been randomly selected as Scum, I like to think that it's not possible he's yet again Scum. So, that's another downfall of metagaming.

Mwahahahahahah. I win. I had to stop playing after so many scum games because I forgot how to pretend to be a townie. Not that I mind. No one will ever suspect that I could be randomly chosen as a Scum again after this game! Oink!

And on that onomatopoeia, Why is it that all pig-lovers are scum? Really! What's so wrong about loving pigs? :cry_sad: Why doesn't society accept our love?

Well, that was a disaster. Thanks for hosting a great game, Tammo, I had a lot of fun.

It was only a disaster for you, Mr. Townie. IMO, this was a triumph. In fact, I'm making a note here: huge success!

That was the intent. A complete victory, not just in numbers, but in minds as well. Why ruin the surprise for you? I would have sent it to the others who voted for me too, but they weren't the ones who thought up the argument. It was a good one, and accurate, but I maintain: Just because an individual is busy IRL does not exempt him or her from being scum. I really am sorry that my move interupted my game though.

Great game to all (Town, Scum and Independents)! Thank you Tamamono for letting me play! The setup was great and I loved the MOCs and the comics! It was an enjoyable experience for me and thank you once again for giving me such awesome and joyful scum buddies :classic:

Agreed! How about Chrome City, a mining city on an asteroid being overrun by the trans-red cybercoyotes!

Yeah. :cry_sad: I tend to get way over excited. Sorry if I came off as a jerk. :sadnew:
