Colossus Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 As tired as I am of DC Super Heroes being approximately 96% Batman, I will say that I'd like a new Batboat. We've had two new Batmobiles, two new Batplanes, two new Batcycles, and yet Batman's current naval strength remains pitiful. That little scuba thingy just doesn't cut it. Wasn't there some kinda Batboat in the Aquaman/Mr. Freeze set not too long ago? Quote
Suspsy Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 No, that was the Batblade, built for traversing ice and snow. The only actual Batboat was 7780, and that was along the lines of a hovercraft. I'd like to see a sleek speedboat similar to the one Aldrich Killen drives in 76006. And yes, a new Killer Croc figure of any size would be nice. Toss in a standard Lego crocodile as a pet for him. Kinda… www.brickset.com/detail/?set=76000-1 Still need a better Batwatercraft though. Edit: Ninja'd by Suspy. Edited January 29, 2014 by The_Creator Quote
TheBatstan Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 But Lego Batman 2 officially calls it the Batboat. If they are making another though, I agree with the Aldrich Killian boat route Quote

Besides, it makes more sense if the Batblade was included in a Mr. Freeze set. Quote
Rinzler Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 (edited) I'm sensing a pattern with the SDCC Marvel figures, it seems to be a Spider-Man variant and a female from the comics, my predictions are Spider-Man: 2099 Miles Morales Superior Bombastic Bag-Man Comic Female: Scarlet Witch Wasp Emma Frost Invisible Woman (Preview Fig) I hope this is not the case though Edited January 29, 2014 by Rinzler Quote

I know they skipped the last few standalone movies for set tie-ins, but I feel like Ant-Man will get something since it's a new property (for films, anyway). That said I don't know for sure that Wasp will be in the Ant-Man film, but I can't imagine how they could leave her out entirely. News for the "Superman vs Batman" movie sets. http://www.manofstee...an-in-may-2016/ Yeah, that's what we'd heard from some of the toy fair recaps. I'm not real bothered by it, personally. If the MoS, Bat vs. Bane, and to an extent the Iron Man 3 sets are any real indication it's that Lego does better with comic/cartoon tie-ins than movie ones. At least in my opinion. TheBatstan Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 There was someone here who had a "friend" who was a Lego designer confirm that we're gettin Hal Jordan next year Quote
Hrafnblod Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 There was someone here who had a "friend" who was a Lego designer confirm that we're gettin Hal Jordan next year Yeah, I also have a "friend" who "works at Lego" who says we're getting a 5000 piece D2C Justice League Watchtower with Martian Manhunter, Hawkgirl, Cyborg, Shazam, and 8 other minfigs. I take the rumors with a grain of salt when they don't come from somewhere like All About Bricks with a serious track record of being right. We were supposedly gonna see GL this year according to some other rumor but that seems unlikely. Quote
Suspsy Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 (edited) Yeah, and I have a "friend" who says we're getting Avengers Tower, the X-Mansion, and Dr. Doom's castle. Each will come with no less than ten minifigures and a macrofigure and retail for under $100. Also, I checked and it turns out the vehicle in the Mr. Freeze/Aquaman set is indeed officially called the Batboat. Nevertheless, I'd still enjoy another version. CorneliusMurdock Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 They were joking. I can't tell if you are joking as well, Rinzler. Please remember, people, that sarcasm doesn't translate well in printed form. It especially confuses members who either speak English as a second language or who skim the posts without reading their full content. So be responsible with sarcasm. Quote

Suspsy Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 I . . . really can't feel sorry for anyone who thinks such insane rumors are legit. Unless they're little children. Quote
CorneliusMurdock Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 I'm not asking for you to feel sorry for them. I'm asking that you follow my advice. Let's not make this a thing. It's been a long day. I hadn't realized that other suits of Spiderman had appeared in the cartoon. I really don't see why Marvel/TLG couldn't have included at least Iron Spider in one set, then. TLG, at least, realizes that they have to use variants to sell Batman, why not Spiderman? I would be over-the-moon if we got any Green Lantern. I'm more than a little disappointed that we may have to wait another year. Quote
Freddy Bricker Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 I'm a little disappointed that it's not Kyle Rayner, but life's life. Though I agree with Cornelius, any Green Lantern would be welcome, so long as they don't give him a car! Quote
The Pearson Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 It did have the skis I was mistaken. Thanks for correcting me Quote

Though I agree with Cornelius, any Green Lantern would be welcome, so long as they don't give him a car! Kyle Rayner seemed pretty unlikely from the start, given he's easily the least used of all the human Green Lanterns. But, with one Green Lantern comes all the others in purist custom. GL body, Robin or Nightwing mask, black spiky hair and ouila! Kyle Rayner! Quote

Oh don;'t get me wrong, I knew he was unlikely from the start. I just wish we got him because I'm a fan, though your solution sounds very practical and the MCW thread will be a good place for me to just breath and see the figures I know Lego will never make. I just can't wait until the Steamroller comes out, then I can finally have a purist Batgirl. Quote
