jamesster Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 (edited) So the site has been updated with a characters page, and a majority of them are blacked out. Can anyone find the real pics? -Sci Looks to me like they learned from what happened with the sets, as I can't find anything. You can still find the names of the characters in the image URLs though - and oddly, Wyldstyle is again referred to as Lucy in this one. The remaining characters, in order, are: Metalbeard, Frank, Unikitty, Ma and Pa Cop, Robo SWAT (Roboswat? I forgot), Gordonzola (Gordon Zola? I dunno, there's no spaces in the names here), Benny, Batman, Robofed, and Suds. Edited November 14, 2013 by jamesster Quote
Lego Spy Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 ...and oddly, Wyldstyle is again referred to as Lucy in this one. Didn't we come to a sort of mutual agreement that her name was Lucy Wyldestyle? Forget it, forget what I said, I don't want to start that conversation again. Quote
badbob001 Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 The movie sypnosis page refers to Wyldstyle as Lucy: An ordinary guy named Emmet (Chris Pratt) is mistaken as being the Master Builder, the one who can save the universe. With the aid of an old mystic Vitruvius (Morgan Freeman), a tough young lady named Lucy (Elizabeth Banks), and Batman (Will Arnett), Emmet will fight to defeat the evil tyrant Lord Business (Will Ferrell) who is bent on destroying the universe by gluing it together. http://www.lego.com/...xplore/synopsis I guess when Emmet gets to know Wyldstyle better, she'll ask him to call her Lucy. But I suspect he won't be calling Batman Bruce any time soon. I wonder what one has to gain from 'gluing' everything together. I suppose you can sell more products if the consumers can't build it themselves. Quote
Hrw-Amen Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 Cube robots are bad look at sets photos, because almost every vehicle have fight with that cubes. Yes, i did see they were in with every vehicle, but they are even in some that are bad guys vehicle which made me think they may be something else? I guess it would be too much to have three factions all at once. Quote

I guess it would be too much to have three factions all at once. Which sets do you see them facing off against bad guys in? The only obvious "bad guy vehicles" I see are in 70808 and 70802, which lack the cube robots. The ice cream truck in 70804, garbage truck in 70805, and food truck in 70812 all have Octan branding if I'm not mistaken, but that doesn't mean they're evil. It just means that the operators of these vehicles are part of the revolution and are rebuilding Octan-branded vehicles to use for their own purposes. I can guarantee President Business does not endorse what has been done with those vehicles. Quote
Haltiamieli Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Bob's Kabobs can be seen in the one of the Bricksburg pictures on the Lego site... has a bit different colour scheme and pieces that the thing in 70812, it seems? Fire Brigade with an added floor in the background. Quote
obsidianheart Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Billboards say "Conform" and "Integrate". Shades of They Live, only without the camouflage. Quote
Shushen Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 one half of the petshop modular on the left? Quote

badbob001 Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 one half of the petshop modular on the left? I think so. From that one frame alone, I can see the fire station, the green grocer, market street, and possibly the town hall. I'm surprised no one here has written a frame by frame analysis of the trailer. 2maxwell Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Any word on the alternate builds yet? I don't think I've read anything about them here, but I might have missed it. While these sets are cool, and I appreciate them for what they are, I'm not exactly flush with cash right now so I don't think I'm going to buy any of them if the alternate builds don't actually exist/aren't any good. I'm really hoping the western ones are good, seeing as we haven't had anything for that theme recently. Quote

I agree as I am on the fence about buying the current recycling truck for my modulars. I like the minifigures in TLM set but I don't know if the regular build is as functional as the current set. Piranha Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 I want "Bob's Kabob's" food cart. Hoping it is in the next wave. Quote
GregoryBrick Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 I want "Bob's Kabob's" food cart. Hoping it is in the next wave. Next wave? It's part of set 70812, the 'Western plane'. Quote
Piranha Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Next wave? It's part of set 70812, the 'Western plane'. Oh, I didn't notice what the background plane was, I was too busy looking for Johnny Thunder. I wonder if that will be a 2-1 model as well, if not, it is nice to get some parts to use in a MOC one. lightningtiger Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 I was thinking the same thing.....reverse engineer a kabob cart.....I wonder how they are going to do minifig scale kabobs ? Quote
Freddy Bricker Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 I assume the western plane will be able to "transform" into a saloon, and the mini plane into a kabob stand? Haha but seriously that's probably what will happen, I mean.... just look at the sets and images. Quote
ResIpsaLoquitur Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 Has anyone noticed yet that one of the Garbage Men in the "Trash Chomper" looks like Jack McHammer from the Monster Fighters? And Gordon Zola looks like the Zombie Chef from the Haunted House? There's got to be a story there. Quote

The zombie chef probably looks more like the chef from the pizza restaurant from the town square. Quote

Compare--they're wearing the same coat and necktie, though the zombie's is bloody. That's going to be my personal canon now--a horrible accident turns Gordon Zola into the zombie, while the garbage man loses an arm in a horrible trash chomper accident. Quote

8BrickMario Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 Although CM4S is right, Gordon Zola does sound like the kind of nasty name a zombie chef would have! Quote
CM4Sci Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 It also sounds like 'gorgonzola', which I think is the main purpose. -Sci Quote
kermit Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 I cant wait to see the alternate builds and i hope they look a little more sane than the main build. Quote
