Lyichir Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 Oh my god... Astro Kitty has a Classic Space cutie mark! Uni-Kitty is rapidly becoming my favorite character. My heart just about exploded when I checked out these two coloring pages on the Lego Movie site. And now we see that she looks completely different in every appearance! I love it! Quote
Lego Spy Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 (edited) Oh my god... Astro Kitty has a Classic Space cutie mark! Uh... Yeah. But I really like Uni Kitty and her (?) variations too. It'll be a fun challenge to try and catch 'em all! Edited December 30, 2013 by Lego Spy Quote
PenPlays Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 If I may, just2good, which book has all of this wonderful information about the Lego Movie? Quote
just2good Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 If I may, just2good, which book has all of this wonderful information about the Lego Movie? The LEGO Movie: The Essential Guide. Quote
Cult_Of_Skaro Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 Bricking hell, that's beautiful! I don't buy many expensive sets, but this is a can't miss here. Classic Space for the win! Quote
Orange Leader Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 I wouldn't be surprised If the CS spaceship will pull out quite some AFOL from their dark ages. Quote
Starrocks923 Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 Benny's spaceship looks awesome. My jaw just about dropped when I loaded up eurobricks and saw it on the front page. At first I thought it was an announcement regarding the resurrection of the classic space theme... as long as it gets made into a set and makes it into my hands I'll be a happy camper! Indeed. I actually found the box in my basement for the original Galaxy Explorer set, so I will have to go back and rebuild it. Once I buy Benny's Spaceship, I will have to take a photo with both of them together. To keep us Uni-Kitty fans over, here's a picture I took of the variations. The other two are more weird than cute, but still. The Did You Know? fact on the left says that these five come in The LEGO Movie sets. I am so buying this book today... Wow, you guys are awesome. Thanks for all these pics! My wallet is screaming right now! I am definitely buying every summer set, even if the price for Brickbeard's ship is $250! Quote
Kez Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 To keep us Uni-Kitty fans over, here's a picture I took of the variations. The other two are more weird than cute, but still. *snip* The Did You Know? fact on the left says that these five come in The LEGO Movie sets. Thanks for the image, that kitty looks cool, and its nice to hear we are expecting more sets to coincide with the movie, the only problem being my lego budget. Btw happy birthday, can't believe it was a year since I last said that, I hope you get lots of lego Quote
The Joker1 Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 Well there's a good chance queasy kitty is in the ship (seasickness) , But where is the red one from? Quote
The_Creator Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 Besides the picture with all the sets and designers are there any pictures of Metalbeard's ship? Also, Uni-Kitty is so awesome - Angy-Kitty is probably my favorite variant. Quote
Zzz Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 The Police drop ship and the classic space cruiser are both really cool, but if the Sandcrawler is only half good, that is were my money goes. Still, I liked the little classic space ship from the Benny poster a lot better, there are too many strange design choices with the cruiser. Still, it is CS and it is about time. Quote
larsyuipo Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 looks awesome. I probably get the space version :P Hopefully you will see more soon :D Quote
Lego Spy Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 I think I'm finally going to get Cloud Cuckoo Palace, and Unikitty tomorrow! Quote
Starrocks923 Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 Well there's a good chance queasy kitty is in the ship (seasickness) , But where is the red one from? Emmet's Construction Mech. It comes with Skeletron too, evidently. Quote
CM4Sci Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 (edited) The thing I don't like is how the mech doesn't look like the one in the trailer. There are two huge cranes coming out of the shoulders, and the cockpit is really different. (Also, a bit off-topic, but I've been drawing some of the characters as icons! Today is Benny! ) -Sci Edited December 30, 2013 by CM4S Quote
Ondra Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 In which trailer, I can found that mech? But there is crane on one arm, Is possible to see on Benny s ship promo. Quote
CM4Sci Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 This one (I guess it contains spoilers?) -Sci Quote
Canticleer blues Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 @CM4S: The construction mech does feature the cockpit rollcage and dual cranes, it's just that they go off the top of the page. Look at where the gulley starts and you can see the rollcage pulled up, as well as the cranes with wrecking balls (their textbox even spills over onto Benny's page). Quote
Ondra Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 Thank you, I never seen that trailer before .That mech looks cool. Quote
SMC Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 so it looks like all of the 4 sets we are still waiting for are of a good size, really want to space ship and might have to get all the robot police sets to build an army Quote
GiBBs Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 The ship is just awesome. I hope if it sells good and Lego realizes that it would be great idea to bring back the classic space theme. I hope we'll also get the batwing ("in black or really really dark grey") sometime next year. It just looks awesome. Quote
tafkatb Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 I should warn anyone who wants to pick up the Essential Guide, it does include some major spoilers for the film. I'm honestly kind of surprised they released it this early. Quote
Masked Builder Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 I should warn anyone who wants to pick up the Essential Guide, it does include some major spoilers for the film. I'm honestly kind of surprised they released it this early. As does the new LEGO magazine. Quote
Fives Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 I picked up the Cloud Cuckoo Palace set today. I'm very pleased with it. It's just one big pile of cute and happy! And Unikitty is amazing! Also, the Emmet and Wyldstyle figs are really cool. Wyldstyle is particularly neat. I can't wait to start collecting the rest of these sets! Quote
just2good Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 (edited) Btw happy birthday, can't believe it was a year since I last said that, I hope you get lots of lego Thanks Kez! Besides the picture with all the sets and designers are there any pictures of Metalbeard's ship? Also, Uni-Kitty is so awesome - Angy-Kitty is probably my favorite variant. There's no other pictures of the set alone, only ones from the film. I should warn anyone who wants to pick up the Essential Guide, it does include some major spoilers for the film. I'm honestly kind of surprised they released it this early. It does! Here's a few more quick pics. There's more on my Flickr, but these are really just the interesting ones. I don't have micro lens, and that group photo is oh-so small, but if you click on that picture above it brings you to a much larger version of it. The Johnny Thunder minifigure has updated printing that is awesome (thanks bekindsorewind)! Edited December 31, 2013 by just2good Quote
