TeamStucky Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 Am I the only one who finds that their is not many interesting Star Wars sets out right now? I guess it's because I'm not familiar with the Rebels TV series and so many sets are based on that right now. Extremely looking forward to 75093 Death Star Final Duel this summer though, looks amazing! Quote
Lobot Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 Hi samir, for future reference there's a general SW Q & A thread pinned to the top of the forum. I'll merge this thread with it in a bit The Nebulon B is one of my favourite ships, I look forward to seeing your MOC of it! Quote

If you mean regardless what wave they are from, id say there are a good deal of decent sets out at the moment. The rebels tie advanced, the at-dp, the T16 sky hopper, the battle packs this year i think are excellent for minifigs, the atat, at-ap, star destroyer, mos eisley cantina, all good sets in my opinion. Not to mention the ucs slave 1 :-) Quote

Zusammengebaut Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 (edited) The biggest Lego model in the world is now in the Legoland in Billund: Really amazing. I have been at the press event yesterday and spoke with a true X-Wing pilot. Have you already seen the X-Wing, for example in the Legoland in Germany last year? If you like - this is the brandnew video: May the force be with you! Edited March 29, 2015 by Zusammengebaut Quote
hachiroku Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 Who is the pilot of the 75074? Zev Senesca? Quote
Sir Gareth Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 (edited) Does "free minifigure with LEGO Star Wars purchases of $75 or more" mean a purchase of $75 or more including a Star Wars set or a purchase of $75 more consisting of only Star Wars sets? Edit: 400th post! Edited March 30, 2015 by Sir Gareth Quote

Gremer Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 (edited) Is 75055 based on any specific Imperial Star Destroyer? Edited March 30, 2015 by Gremer Quote
GuyDudeMan27 Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 Is 75055 based on any specific Imperial Star Destroyer? I doubt it. Even if it were, there would be almost no way to tell. Quote
ISDAvenger Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 (edited) Is 75055 based on any specific Imperial Star Destroyer? Based on the communications array it is a Class II ISD, which is in the opening shot of Jedi. The previous Lego ISD is also a Class II ISD. The UCS ISD, however, was a Class I, which is the ISD in the opening shot of ANH. I doubt it. Even if it were, there would be almost no way to tell. Type, yes....name no. GuyDudeMan27 Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 Type, yes....name no. Oh yes, the type is identifiable. I was referring to name. Quote
legolandia Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 I have seen on Bricklink that there is a new spy droid for sale (the one with magnifying glass, etc). Does anyone know which set that comes in please? Quote

Kelso Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 (edited) How likely would it be for a rebels set with Vaders Tie Fighter? I'm thinking off brinklinking Vader Tie, because that's one of the sets I really miss in my collection. Edited March 31, 2015 by Kelso Quote
Lobot Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 Is that the UCS or system scale version? If you're considering the UCS, the cockpit canopy (part 2598pb01) is almost impossible to get hold of at a reasonable cost: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=2598pb01 It's a shame really, as it would have been quite fun to build Quote
mike_mcbam Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 (edited) Who is the pilot of the 75074? Zev Senesca? I too have been wondering this, so have looked into it a bit since an answer wasn't immediately obvious. So the helmet seems to belong to this guy: His name is Tiree, AKA Gold Two, but he dies at the Battle of Yavin. There then seems to have been some prop-recycling when making Empire, since what appears to be the same helmet is seen on this guy at the back of the briefing before the battle of Hoth: So who's he? After a bit of digging, it seems this guy is called, according to an article published in Star Wars Insider 146, Habeer Zignean, aka Green Five. If you're interested in the names of other pilots at the briefing, here's a handy crib sheet: So, to give you the short answer, his name is Habeer Zignean. Edit: On a sidenote, the helmet held here by 12) Tarrin Datch seems to be more prop-recycling, and is Jek Porkins' helmet, so if you're looking to MOC the battle of Hoth and need more named characters and their helmets, there you go, look no further than 9493 Edited March 31, 2015 by mike_mcbam Quote

The system scale version is pretty much a minifig scale isn't ? Quote
GuyDudeMan27 Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 The system scale version is pretty much a minifig scale isn't ? Yes. It fits in with the other Tie, X-Wing, Y-Wing, A-Wing, and B-Wing. Quote

Regimus Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 brickporn? Seriously? Ya know, that's a standard sort of phrase that doesn't really have to mean anything sexual. Earthporn is beautiful pictures of natural landscapes, for example. Quote
