Scubacarrot Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 Why? And you keep not answering my questions.
CMP Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 I've been helpful, Snotra. You have not. That's why I'm trusted more.
Palathadric Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 After all. What puzzles me is how neither of you question my math despite it implicating you both equally. I do have to question your math.
Scubacarrot Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 I've been helpful, Snotra. You have not. That's why I'm trusted more. BS.
Palathadric Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 No. Now I don't know what the hell I was thinking. Maybe taking a shot at sowing confusion. What do you expect me to say to this? I haven't pushed for anyone's lynch, I don't have any damning night action results, I haven't brought up anything incredibly suspicious on anybody. So you admit yourself that you've pretty much done nothing. I don't know how you find your actions helpful at the end of it all.
CMP Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 So you admit yourself that you've pretty much done nothing. I don't know how you find your actions helpful at the end of it all. I think you might've accidentally cropped out the rest of that post. What do you expect me to say to this? I haven't pushed for anyone's lynch, I don't have any damning night action results, I haven't brought up anything incredibly suspicious on anybody. I can't quote anything specific, if you'll look back through the past few days, I don't think I've been ultimately unhelpful, and I've still added a hell of a lot more than several of us here. The last bit goes for you, too.
Palathadric Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 I think you might've accidentally cropped out the rest of that post. Which was kind of my point, I think. After stating just how unhelpful you are, you round up with the conclusion that you don't think you've been unhelpful. That helps Town a lot! Also, you may have said more than others but most of what you said has been asking people to state their suspicions and opinions and doing no work yourself. You don't seem to care which way this goes and would probably have been happy to vote for silent townies all throughout the game if you could've gotten away with it. The last bit goes for you, too. I may have spoken less but I didn't spend all my time calling out quiet people. I may have been wrong in my suspicions, but I've not been taking the middle road like you where you don't really give any serious suspicions or things to work off of, but just float along with the game.
CMP Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 I may have been wrong in my suspicions, but I've not been taking the middle road like you where you don't really give any serious suspicions or things to work off of, but just float along with the game. You're right. You've been taking the road where you do the bare minimum to avoid getting lumped in with Baulf and Dagstyrr. My mistake. You really should've rounded up your scum buddies and tried to have gotten me lynched at some point over the last few days or so. All this doesn't do you much good now that everyone agrees you're the likeliest scum at this point.
Palathadric Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 Patrekr has to be scum. According to my math, that's an absolute fact. What do the rest of you say? Is your math based on investigations you yourself admit have to be faulty to make any sense? It seems that at least one of those confirmed town by the investigator has to be scum, if so, why can't both of them be? Why can't the investigator himself/herself be? You talk about absolute facts, there's little in Mafia that you can call an "absolute fact," probably one of the closest things you can get would be an investigator's result. You seem to doubt those, so it leaves me to wonder how you've confirmed those who haven't been investigated or how you can be so absolutely sure they are not scum. You're right. You've been taking the road where you do the bare minimum to avoid getting lumped in with Baulf and Dagstyrr. My mistake. If you're town, you really have no knowledge of how a scumster would work. If I were scum and knew that the likes of Dagstyrr was town, I would just blend into that group, not try to be the one that sticks out amongst them. Answer my questions? Not with what you two just said? That doesn't help anybody. Vote: Patrekr (Paladathric) No, you would cause the town to lose. Vote: Patrekr (Palathadric), since, well....he can't be town. vote: Patrekr the Red (Palathadric) Vote: Patrekr the Red / Palathadric I'll trust Mursi and his math, but what puzzles me a bit is that he's not voting for Patrekr like he suggests. Same sentiments and it appears Mursi is making a better sense out of this. Let's get our next scum. Vote: Patrekr the Red (Palathadric) Look at the bandwagon going against me. Most people don't even bother to say anything at all. Voting out a scum is never this easy unless there is an actual investigation result against him, especially if that scumster has almost half of the remaining live ones on his side.
CMP Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 If I were scum... Hey, that's the argument I always when I'm scum too! I always use*
Palathadric Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 So, at least Mursi, despite his saying that I have to be scum, seems to have been thinking things over. You seemed eager all throughout to jump on the easiest bandwagon and don't seem to be even considering the possibility that you could be wrong. Likely, you don't care, so long as you lynch town. So, dufa, Finn, Canute, Helga or Snotra, and Wilhalm or Baulf, possibly both Wilhalm and Baulf...However you look at it, that's an impressive scum line-up.
CMP Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 So, dufa, Finn, Canute, Helga or Snotra, and Wilhalm or Baulf, possibly both Wilhalm and Baulf...However you look at it, that's an impressive scum line-up. I don't think the real scum team is nearly that impressive.
Palathadric Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 I don't think the real scum team is nearly that impressive. Wanna bet? In all honesty though, I don't think a townie would be nearly as casual about such an important lynch, as you are.
CMP Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 In all honesty though, I don't think a townie would be nearly as casual about such an important lynch, as you are. As much as I appreciate all your honesty, I know all the risks. It's been discussed thoroughly. You're the likeliest scum. Sorry if I'm not so broken up or deathly serious over it.
Palathadric Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 It's been discussed thoroughly. You're the likeliest scum. Been discussed thoroughly by whom? You and your scummy team. Do I resemble you the most? Gah, that's hardly a complement.
CorneliusMurdock Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 A scum team wouldn't be able to save you at this point. Even after we get rid of you, it's lynch scum or lose tomorrow as well unless we can prevent the scum kill. If I were scum I'd take my chances that the town would pick wrong then. Not voting for you now would be a roadmap to the nest lynch.

MagPiesRUs Posted January 2, 2014 Author Posted January 2, 2014 By unanimous decision, the einherjar had convicted Patrekr the Red (Palathadric). Resigned to his fate, he marched his way up the hall where he would be executed. Harald stood ready, axe in hand. His eyes glimmering, he had a good feeling about this lynch. Finally, Patrekr came to the end of the hall... He proceeded to bend down onto the makeshift chopping block that had once been an einherjar's seat. Now in position, Harald prepared to cut the traitor's head off... Had the einherjar made the right decision? As the others pondered the fate of Valhalla, Harald raised his axe in the air... Ker-plonk!
