There are pics, video, all you need to do is look, and yes. It is full remote, cant wait for it come out. It better too, LOL. Really dissapointed with LEGO right now, Wonder what lame excuse they have for not releasing the 1H 2014 sets. :)

The Lego Movie sets have thrown the release schedule out of whack. The thought was they were increasing desire for them by doing so, but I think looking back, and the crazy speed which Cloud Cuckoo and SSS! flew off the shelves, they probably didn't need to.

I'm going to be so poor come August 1... New Star Wars AND Technic? Yikes.

Ok part list so far in Brickstock format bsx

here

I think I miss one part beside the bucket as I have 1634 items and it should be with bucket 1636. So who will find my missing item ?

I found the missing item, file is updated now. It's a second black Liftarm 1 x 7 Thick 32524 for those who already downloaded the file

I want this set but not at $250. This set is overpriced for sure.

I was just comparing this set to the real L350F and the proportions are totally wrong! The body is too big and the only area where it actually resembles the Volvo is the color. This is easily the worst flagship release to date and the designer should be canned before he ruins future products.

I think you're being overly harsh there, but I agree that the design is lacking in several aspects. I won't be buying the set either, I'll just order the new parts online. Already got way too many PF elements anyway (luxury problem I guess).

 I wish i was in your position I don't have any spare pf elements

Looks like it will be $299.99 here in Canada, as I expected. The functionalities are very nice, but the design could've been a lot better. Not sure if I'll buy it.

I have 5 remote control units, 1 speed remote control unit, 2 V2 IR receivers, 4 V1 IR receivers, 4 polarity switches, 5 battery boxes, 2 rechargeable LiPos, 6 PF LEDs, 10 M motors, 4 XL motors, 1 Servo, 3 L motors, 7 50 cm extension cords, and 5 20 cm extension cords

But I bet someone like Blakbird has 20 times as much ... he keeps all his MOCs built, I only build one at the time.

I've been wanting to buy this set since I first saw it, but now their are a lot of "cons" to the set.... Price especially. What do you think I should do, buy it now or wait...

I have built it from the instructions (less the bucket) and the B model which I have modified and I will definitely buy the set when it arrives. It is definitely the most awesome technic construction set yet, you need to build it to appreciate the size and functions. There are a couple of minor things that can be improved but it is still fully remote controlled and functional. Much better than 8043, more in league with 8275, but bigger.

Does anyone know what it is going to cost in the U.S.? I've seen €169.99 but you can't just convert it into us dollars.

$249.99 as per the US S@H site.

Thanks, I think that is an ok price for the pieces you are getting. Somewhere I saw $300.00 that thought that was crazy

Yeah, that's how much it'll be in Canada. LEGO is always more expensive here north of the border. :sceptic:

has anyone bought this yet.i was surprised about the price. shocking really considering the crane set from last year was much bigger and cheaper.lol

A bit off topic but which really is the better flagship model - the 42030 or the 42009 Crane from last year? I bought the 42030 rather on impulse today, and upon looking at it carefully, I am beginning to wonder if it was worth the cost. Basically, which is better, realize its a hard call for many to make.

€250 comes out to about $335 - but I'm sure you lucky americans will get it cheap at $250 - as is the case with all Lego.

I will probably get it, but not at this price. I'll wait for some promo and pick it up at no more than €200.

It was $249.99 at Toys R Us in the US. Seems like that is the reigning thing, the exchange for overseas currencies is putting the set well beyond US dollars.

The b model hauler out of the box is quite bare bones as far as the dump bed and with only 1 set of rear tires, it doesn't look that good, but I love the way you modified it.
