EXO-CHAMP Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 I was just wondering how the game is comming along?
Fordo Posted June 21, 2007 Author Posted June 21, 2007 (edited) I've been gaming with my Brother (Who controls the British). We play with 3 Artillery each, 3 Infantry regiments, 1 Elite Infantry (Me-Old Guard Him-Rifleman), me with 8 Cuirassairs and him with 10 Dragoons. (I had to take muskets off my army for his units, such a nice Brother :-$ ) Anyway his dense attacks on my flank keep hindering my forces so Im 0-2 :-( . I've also tweaked the stats a bit and added a Rifleman with longer range. Edited June 21, 2007 by Fordo
zouave Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 How many figs does this game require at least?I have 4 cannons but about only 80 figs. Most of them are CC.
Fordo Posted June 21, 2007 Author Posted June 21, 2007 Depending on the size of the Battle you want as little as 10 per regiment so a 10 on 10 game could work. I perfer 20 men regiments. You could also change the unit names to fit into a CC army like Hussar->Light Calvary, Cuirassiers->Heavy Knights, Infrantry->Men-at-arms/footsoldiers, Light Infantry->Scouts, Rifleman->Archers, etc.
EXO-CHAMP Posted June 28, 2007 Posted June 28, 2007 Sounds really nice. Maybe you could do a small battle report and maybe add a few pictures of the action?
Fordo Posted July 6, 2007 Author Posted July 6, 2007 In the future I will add a battle report between my French and British armies.
Antoi Posted October 8, 2007 Posted October 8, 2007 Hi All, This set of game rules looks great! Im thnking of making a wargame for castle. I hope you dont mind borrowing a few of your ideas :-) Has somebody any experience with action points voor figures? for example: a knight has 10 action points: attacking costs 4 ponit, movement 1 points, climbing 2 points, etc...... Does this work? Im thinking of doing this for my game.
Fordo Posted October 8, 2007 Author Posted October 8, 2007 I've been quite busy at the moment but I posted earlier in this topic when someone has more Castle figures they could use it for Castle just change some basic idea's and the names.
