Big Pete Posted May 4, 2007 Posted May 4, 2007 i'm looking forward to this set ... looks great :) thanks for the review! Quote
xwingyoda Posted May 4, 2007 Author Posted May 4, 2007 I'll probable get this set along with the naboo fighter,I like the blue better than the yellow or dark red *vader* I really love the 3 colours of these JSFs *wub* I think we really can hope for the ultimate JSF, the glorious Sith Starfighter: I think its more than probable since it would not cost a lot for TLC to produce it (no new molds at all). Also, bear in mind that TLC ventured into the EU this year so there is hope for that black JSF !! *yoda* Quote

Also, bear in mind that TLC ventured into the EU this year so there is hope for that black JSF !! *yoda* Well the TV show will probably have it, and it's the second level of canon :-) They already have the black R2 head as well, it would be easy to make! I just hope they actually do it |-/ It's starting to remind me of that picture on Brickshelf of the 10 different JSF in different colors Edit: These beauties *wub* Quote
xwingyoda Posted May 4, 2007 Author Posted May 4, 2007 It's starting to remind me of that picture on Brickshelf of the 10 different JSF in different colors Exactly !! We could also wish for Mace's JSF in purple !! I would love that one also *wub* Would be a great opportunity to reissue Mace for the ones who do not have him ;-) I really think that this JSF is by far the best looking ship of the PT !! So bring it on Lego !! *yoda* Quote

Hobbes Posted May 5, 2007 Posted May 5, 2007 As you can see, only 1 booklet. Nothing that new as of now. However I was astounded by the content of page 1: drawings indicating that a) you can Quote
Zaktan of the Shadows Posted May 10, 2007 Posted May 10, 2007 This... is... awesome! I want it so bad... for both Kit, and the Ring. But I also have to save up for that beautiful MTT... -ZotS Quote
ReZourceman Posted May 13, 2007 Posted May 13, 2007 I would so...love a Maces JSF. When are these sets released officially? Quote
Grand Moff Viceroy Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 I am sure that there were missiles. Perhaps they were for the prototype. anyway, I am getting this. Quote
Legoman Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 there are, you can see them in the first pic that has the ring in it.the missiles are beside/ below the jsf in the ring. ;-) Quote

captaintau Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 PAYDAY! Ordered this last night. Await eagerly. What's the name of the Astromech? Quote
Grand Moff Viceroy Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 (edited) don't know, but it looks like the one from the JSF (red) Lego calls it R2 unit. The green r2 from the republic ruiser is made up, but since this model has only a head it is not worthy of a name. Edited July 27, 2007 by Grand Moff Viceroy Quote
captaintau Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 don't know, but it looks like the one from the JSF (red) They all look the same. Thats pretty much the point. R2-D2, D5-D4 (Y-Wing version) and R2-D5 all look the same. They're all astormechs. since this model has only a head it is not worthy of a name. Well that particular astromech was instrumental in Obi Wan and the Clone army winning the battle of Utapau. Anyway, the question wasn't worthiness, just "what's his name?" Just because I'm interested. Quote
Grand Moff Viceroy Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 Yes, forgot to consider. He flew his fighter for ob-wan to avoid the magnaguards' suspisions. :-D Quote
The Executive Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 They all look the same. Thats pretty much the point. R2-D2, D5-D4 (Y-Wing version) and R2-D5 all look the same. Just because I'm interested. Ah yes the astromech you speak of is R4-G9. He comes with Obi-wan's blue jedi starfighter and R4-P17 comes with his old red jedi starfighter, both from epi 2 and 3. Quote

Lt. Col. Thok Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 Amazing. I have got to get this set. Dark Blue ON! Quote
The Executive Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 Thanks for that, Executive. No problem, always willing to help. Amazing. I have got to get this set.Dark Blue ON! Yeah, I love the dark blue look . If I ever come across it, I'll definitely buy one. Quote
captaintau Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Just in the past few minutes finished building this. Random thoughts: - Man, that was a fun build, though the ring got a little tedious at one point. - Amazingly sturdy - I wonder if I got another Delta-7 Aethersprite, could I mod it to fit another ring? - Nice adaptations to the Actis. Great to see LEGO didn't just rest on their laurels and simply put out another exactly the same all bar colour. They actually played with the design - No lightsaber for Obi-Wan :-( - How many spare parts? - Very efficient service. I order last Friday from S@H, on cheapest delivery method and it arrived this afternoon! - Those missiles are pointless. Quote
xwingyoda Posted August 7, 2007 Author Posted August 7, 2007 Looool, I was browsing through Bricklink and discovered that they used my pic in their inventory for this set :-D Coooool hehe Bricklink Photographer On !! *yoda* Quote
Big Pete Posted August 9, 2007 Posted August 9, 2007 Just bought this set and whilst it's pretty damn cool, I can't help but feel that Quote
