VintageLegoEra Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 (edited) Hi Again to another Modular building episode! It is indeed a great feeling to come back to lego again and straight into these Modular,,,Just Amazing how they look like and the Building experience is just enjoyably at it's maximum :).. I have finished the Cafe Corner and the Market Street ( Already made a Thread about Them ) and i am so glad to start building this ( The Green Grocer )... -Link to cafe Corner: http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=97709 -Link to Market Street: http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=97869 As we know, this Green Grocer was introduced in 2008,,,mmmm..my set says: 2009 so i dont know know if it was made in 2 years...anyway, i have it and that's it ( But will love to know if there was a version in 2008 too ) This set , LEGO has started to include the interior setups which they missed in their previous Cafe Corner and the Market Street sets!,,,, This set is one of my favorite...a very well designed and leveled... Here are some Photos of the Set: Stay Tuned for the Building progress! Regards Edited December 23, 2014 by Rick Quote
ItsaBRICKS Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Nice! This was the second modular I got, after Market Street. It was awesome when I attached them together for the first time. I'm excited to see building updates! Quote

Off the wall Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 I think that you may find this is the best modular. A nice balance of emphasis on building structure with good interior detailing. A nice middle point between the extremes of CC and PR. Thanks for sharing your build and reviews. Quote
VintageLegoEra Posted July 25, 2014 Author Posted July 25, 2014 (edited) Final Look: Thanks for your watching and comments!....This is indeed a very nice modular so far since i just build the CC and the MS...:) Next Project is : Fire Brigade Stay Tuned! notaromantic Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Bay windows make me drool. They really do. This was a "gateway" set for me, turning me from collector into builder, and it is still the only official Lego modular that I've left somewhat intact - I BL'ed it about a year ago, in differing colors, and with some modifications, intending for it to be a flower shop - and now its a sort-of curio shop on my own WIP street. Used to be I prowled for minifigures; now I seem to prowl only for parts. It definitely turned me into a different kind of creature. Great building, it is. Quote
