Just need my Captain Cold

Where's that piece from? Chima?

Slightly off topic, but have you guys noticed that Lego's doing a lot of ice stuff all of a sudden? City's doing ice mining, Chima's doing wooly mammoths and polar bears, we're getting Captain Cold, etc. etc.. Seems odd, especially since this isn't just a sudden thing they did right before Christmas; the City and Chima sets have been out for months.

New line of Chima sets (Fire vs Ice). Kinda surprised that it isn't included in the Grodd set.

Thanks Luiggi again for getting all these 2015 fig photos for us! A special one here is New 52 Batman! We all know how it looks with the cowl but what about without? And the marvelous backprinting?

I'm pretty excited about these as I believe they have nailed the printing on the spot for the face. A reoccurring issue with the 2014 Scuba Batman's face. This is probably the best Batman minifigure to date! (Except for the ever so illusive 2007 suit. )

Thanks for the images, defiantly one of the best variations. Its a pity he still has the sweat band but I guess that's unavoidable. The black headpiece is defiantly better.

I'll be super-mad if New 52 Superman is a free with purchase minifigure. :hmpf_bad:

You actually bring up a good point, that could very well be the case, like how Martian Manhunter was done, and that figure came out a little after the sets were released. The only thing that confuses me is, remember the prototype images for the 2015 wave? The Darkseid set showed supes with his original costume, and we're going to get him in his original costume in the official set. However, for the Braniac set it showed Supes with his Man of Steel outfit, so you would assume that the figure would be the New 52 (Because it's a different design on the same character and the New 52 hasn't been printed just yet)right? No, it was the same original superman, so why would they use a different version of superman in a prototype if it was just going to be the standard version?

^ Same thing happened with Spiderman last year, they looked different in prelims and then we got the same old Spiderman in every set.

Maybe it was a case of them designing the minifigure and deciding to move him into a later set? I remember that happening in Star Wars with Quinlan Vos.

Edit: Since LEGO Batman 3 has what seems to be a preliminary version of the new Wonder Woman, New 52 Superman being there might support this.

Anyway, Batman looks great. I wish that the cowl's eyes lined up with a regular minifigure's, but oh well. At least they finally got rid of the grin.
