brickpreviews Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 When do we get pictures from New York toy fair? How many hours The Toy Fair starts at 7 am EST so about 4-5 hrs Quote
The Kid Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 via Scarilian Definitely a new Harley. Looks better 'in the flesh' overall. Keen to see the rest of the figures up close... Quote
strangely Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Joker, Poison Ivy and Penguin are old designs... That's a bit disappointing. Loving everything else though. Quote
BatZack Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 That set looks amazing, can we have some closer pics if that's not too greedy? Is the Deathstroke set there too? Quote
TheLegoExperience Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 You know, I'm liking this build much better now, even though it's basically the same. Harley and Beast Boy look great, but on board with Starfire yet. Also almost all the villains are the same? How unfortunate. Also, anyone else think the hair on Robin in the Deathstroke makes him look weird? Quote
Robianco Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Images are starting to appear on Flickr accounts as we speak. I think that set looks much more like a $120 set than we originally thought but I agree it's a shame that Joker, Ivy and Penguin are old designs and the Bats figure is the same as the recent wave but we expected that. I'm surprised that Harley's headpiece is the Jester's Hat but maybe there's a change of hair in the set... if not I'll be picking up the zombie cheerleader to make that change myself. The Batboat in the Deathstroke set looks good... very substantial... Deathstroke looks like it's a printed head rather than a helmet. Quote

BatZack Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 If anyone has pics, finds website with pics, link them here please Quote
Robianco Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 (edited) Of course its not new 52 Harley... Well the legs and torso are different from the recent Harley... I think it's just the hat that makes her look too much like the existing one. The white arms with different coloured gloves as well as the torso design are still looking like the cover of Harley Quinn #1... it's just the headpiece. Harley's faceprint is new also as I've just seen a clearer shot. I can't believe they'd change the leg, torso and face print and have a perfect hairpiece for her and not use it. Steelrift Customs on Flickr has images of various sets you can view: https://www.flickr.c...os/51576514@N04 Scarillian has also put together a image library (that he seems to be constantly updating) of a lot of shots from the NYTF here : http://imgur.com/a/l7ZHI Edited February 14, 2015 by Robianco Quote
lightningtiger Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Jokerland.......SOLD.......so much detail and it does look like something the Joker would design himself ! And what about that super Bat-Boat.......OMG.....another SOLD but that looks to be a different Robin......right ? Quote
TheBrickBuilder14 Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 (edited) Here he is... Also interesting to note that the Robin in the Deathstroke set is the New 52 Dick Grayson Robin while the Robin in the Jokerland set is a totally different Robin, plus the Robin in the Jokerland set has arm printing! Credit for these pictures goes to someone called Ghostmind, and here is the Robin in the Batboat set (New 52 Dick Grayson) Credit for this picture goes to Scarilian Edited February 14, 2015 by TheBrickBuilder14 Quote
tafkatb Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Kinda hard to see in the picture, but Starfire has arm printing. Quote
Bragidon Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Guess the Robin in the Jokerland set is Tim Drake, Teen Titans style. So pumped for the Deathstroke set, i love Deathstroke, Helmet or not Quote
Legoman123 Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Both sets look amazing and I certainly can't wait to pick them up. I am disappointed with the Deathstroke minifigure though as I thought he would have a helmet like Iron Man. Quote
8BrickMario Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 NO! Harley cannot have that hat! What is LEGO thinking? How can they miss such a perfect opportunity? What did they design that pigtail hair for?!?! Okay, calm down...She looks good, but I will be incredibly disappointed if she does not have the pigtails as an alternative in the set. To not use the piece would be lazy and stupid. We guessed we were getting the New 52 version because of the hair, so why wouldn't she have it? Jokerland looks good. I like the slide much better in purple, and the duck Ferris wheel looks okay. Ivy's man-eating plant looks like it uses new pieces on the jaws, since they don't look like the standard dishes. The little bomb clown robot is neat, and I'll forgive the not-Joker archway. Starfire looks really nice, and the small dishes on her hands look good. Deathstroke was to be expected, and the new Robins look really nice. The Batboat is..unique. Happy Valentine's Day! I put Mr. J and Harley together...well, maybe other people can celebrate properly! Quote
jasonwyngard Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Jokerland looks better for the 120 price point, I'm not sure on Harley but the rest of the minifigures look good. I'm very surprised that we got two new robins this wave. And the people who said that deathstroke would not have a helmet like in lb3 are disappointingly right. Quote
Robianco Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Yeah... nice design on the Grayson New 52 and the Simpson's style arm moulding for Robin in the Jokerland looks great. Thinking more about it I think that Poison Ivy design has been pretty much spot on for a while... That could have gone with the same design but printed on a dark green or black body over a Lime Green which would have been closer to the New 52 variant Quote
8BrickMario Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 TT Games designs are never actually used by LEGO once they decide to make a character featured in a previous LEGO game.Harley and Deathstroke are proof of it. Quote
TheBatstan Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 With the exception of Aquaman of course Quote
Numbuh1Nerd Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 DEFINITELY getting Jokerland. Beast Boy and Starfire look awesome, the new Robin is killer, I'd like the classic Penguin design here instead of just the one from the Batski, I love the new Batmobile, the build isn't bad, Harley's a little disappointing but I can work with it, and I think they gave Beast Boy an animal to turn into! (Behind him, it's a bird, right?) Quote
VictorFrenchFries Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 The Robin in the Batboat is new 52 Dick Grayson. http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_mamenkxPWY1qd68ixo5_1280.jpg The Robin in Jokerland is new 52 Jason Todd. First ever. http://static.comicvine.com/uploads/original/0/40/2601036-jdc.jpg So now we have all the Robins in their Robin costumes, we still need Red Hood and Red Robin. Quote
Numbuh1Nerd Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 I'm especially digging the New 52 Dick Grayson Robin in the Batboat set. Deathstroke's not as bad as I thought he'd be, either. I'll probably sacrifice my previous aquatic Bat-stuff for shelf room for this one. Quote
TheBatstan Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 But damn does that Jokerland look great! The face would probably have to be modded a little to give a more Joker-esque design but the rides look awesome! The minifigs are amazing (except for Ivy, she's becoming the Spider-Man of DC), BB and Starfire look just like the show designs even giving Beast Boy the pointed ears (though why Lego couldn't do this for Sinestro?). Robin FINALLY has the short sleeves and I think a new torso print as the belt doesn't look as thick as the previous torso, and the return of the long yellow cape! Batman with boots is always a plus but I'm probably going to have to mod that '89 Batmobile to remove all that grey and studs showing and it also looks like the cockpit slides foreword. The Batboat set looks cool as well. Deathstroke is a must for me, and we finally get an official Dick Grayson Robin minifig who looks awesome. The Batboat is going to need some colour swaps and I'll probably need a different view to see how it looks from all sides. Quote
