afolaus Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 Thanks for keeping on providing these pictures geobrush. One has to wonder just when TLG are planning on releasing images, the longer they wait the more leaks we'll keep getting at the factory level. Quote
Nokturn Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 Thanks for keeping on providing these pictures geobrush. One has to wonder just when TLG are planning on releasing images, the longer they wait the more leaks we'll keep getting at the factory level. That's a really good point. I guess I shouldn't be so upset at the lack of official reveals; everything will just get leaked eventually anyway. Quote
IronFish Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 They look very good! But the pilot does not have that red mark. wasn't that just the lighting? Quote
TheWolffe Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 wasn't that just the lighting? You can see the red markings clearly with this still from the teaser. I thought it was the lighting at first as well but they're pretty distinct. Quote
joebiwankenobi Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 The First Order Special Forces TIE Fighter is confirmed to have two seats, as seen in That explains the piece count & price on LEGO's version. Pretty excited to see how they handle this one. I'm pretty sure the other pilot functions as a rear gunner. Note how the twin lasers on the bottom of the ball swivel 360 degrees. Quote
StarWars8Spoiler Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 Geobrush, is it possible for your contact to take a picture of the heads underneath the pilot and snowtrooper? Thanks. Quote
General Magma Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 Well, I certainly cannot wait to build an army of these First Order troopers. Those look great, and the snowtrooper has - like I thought - a kama to complete him. Also, wouldn't your contact be able to just take a picture of all of the TFA figures? Would be nice... Quote
Darth Malgus Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 Really like the troopers. Can't wait to see them in sets. Quote
cavegod Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 (edited) The red markings on the tie pilot coud just be reflection Edited July 12, 2015 by cavegod Quote
Datamunky Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 Those snowtroopers look fantastic! Can't wait for the battle packs. Quote
Wotan135 Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 Really like the troopers. Can't wait to see them in sets. http://news.toyark.com/2015/07/10/sdcc-2015-hasbro-star-wars-post-panel-reveals-167786 Here is clear that is red marking...like Baron Fel Quote
ChiefPie Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 It's not an elite pilot ;) So there's two pilots? If so maybe we will get different types like the republic though I doubt it. Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 Maybe there's two types of pilots since the Special Forces TIE Fighter is a two-seater, so one of them could be a pilot and the other a gunner There's a rumour though that the one with the red stripes is in fact Captain Phasma Quote
djmangunz Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 Wow, the printing on that TIE pilot is amazing! Quote
Dragonlego27 Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 That's a really good point. I guess I shouldn't be so upset at the lack of official reveals; everything will just get leaked eventually anyway. What's also interesting is that, even though SDCC is earlier this year, there hasn't been a set reveal from the winter wave. In probably wouldn't even have had to be from TFA: I was hoping on seeing a set from Series Two of Rebels. Really like the pilot, the breathing apparatus tube is a nice touch. Quote

Terrasher Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 The Sith Infiltrator looks really cool, actually. Although, at +100CAD, I doubt I'll purchase it. Quote
DarkKnight7 Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 The Sith Infiltrator looks really cool, actually. Although, at +100CAD, I doubt I'll purchase it. Yeah, I, along with most people on here, are really disappointed with the crappy price point for this set (looks like I'll be waiting for markdown days at the stores) Quote
GallardoLU Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 the price on that Sith Infiltrator reminds me of Rancor pit/ Jabba's Palace/ Sail barge. only without large new molds... I fear this is a price test set, to see how well it will sell with a raised price point, if it does well, or well enough, we might be seeing a change in average price per piece.... this thing had better tank! Quote
montgocloud Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 The Infiltrator looks pretty good from that angle, I have to say. I'd buy it if it weren't for Darth Maul's comical face, the bulky Bloodfin, and that stupidly high price. Plus, my budget is completely taken up by all of the Episode VII sets. Quote
scorchfire Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 so.. the death star is dead... guess that throws away all those rumors about a version with updated mini-figs Quote
Fives Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 so.. the death star is dead... guess that throws away all those rumors about a version with updated mini-figs Honestly, I'm glad theres no new Death Star. I'm way more excited by the potential of large ground base sets of both the Resistance headquarters and the First Order base. I think theres and chance for some really solid sets, maybe even a UCS version of one of them. Quote
