just2good Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 She looks cute! Love the leg printing, despite the darker skin. Now I'm curious to hear what her lover 'kevkipo' thinks about the close up pictures. Quote

Quicksilver Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Lol, why not? Trying looking at the zoomed-in non-box image here: http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00NVDP4HW?tag=amazon0f28-21 Its near the top in the sides of the big grey hexagonal pieces. Two/three/four/.../infinity-toned legs would work. Wow. That logo is insanely small. Wait. In the set description it said Hulk was trapped by the Scarlet Witch. So did Ultron, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch buy a Hulk proof Cage on Stark Industries Website or something? Or they could have stole it. But if they did steal it, could this mean Tony developed a specific plans for each Avenger incase any of them turned evil? Here's the picture of the stark industries sticker in the hulk buster set: Thanks dude. Quote

It also might just be the set description is slightly different from what actually happens in the movie to avoid spoilers. Quote

Lancethecat Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 I'm guessing/hoping that the Ant-Man set will include Ant-Man, Hank Pym, and Yellowjacket, along with a small section of the lab with shrinking chamber and possibly an exploding feature, plus a giant ant for the Ant-Man figure to ride on. An Ant-Man microfigure would probably require a new mold, so the minifigure can be used in both his normal and shrunken state. Quote
Ultron Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 My thoughts on Scarlet Witch: -Her "red eyed" sided head looks pretty good. -Her regular face is the most basic thing I've ever seen. That looks nothing like her. I'm extremely disappointed -The leg printing is okay, wish it wasn't on black -Hair still looks awful. -Why the hell did they make her eyes red but her hex powers blue?! Sometimes LEGO just does not think things through. I'm really pissed about this Quote
strangely Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 (edited) Scarlet Witch's head really doesn't look right to me. Torso and Legs are awesome though. The dark skin on the legs doesn't bother me though. I can just pretend she's wearing stockings or something. I'm a little disappointed that no further description of the Goblin set has shown up yet. I'm hoping it's more along the line of $30 set with three minifigures and a nice sized build. Would really like to get an Oscorp lab and Gwen Stacy. -Why the hell did they make her eyes red but her hex powers blue?! Sometimes LEGO just does not think things through. I'm really pissed about this Based on how it looks like Scarlet Witch's leg printing doesn't even wrap around I'm guessing they stretched the budget a little too thin. There's a lot of special pieces in new colors and with new prints. Edited January 22, 2015 by strangely Quote
psqidexslizer248 Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 But if they did steal it, could this mean Tony developed a specific plans for each Avenger incase any of them turned evil? Well, he does have Hulkbuster armor. Quote
Ultron Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 But if they did steal it, could this mean Tony developed a specific plans for each Avenger incase any of them turned evil? I highly doubt it. Marvel would know that that's stepping into Batman territory and they don't need to go there...Plus, why would he need plans to take down Hawkeye and Black Widow? They're just highly skilled people. I could see Thor and Hulk, but that's about it. It's a safe bet he just made a plan concerning the Hulk since he poses the most danger. Quote
Dr.Cogg Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 So, Ultron and his drone minifigs have weird looking circular eyes, Ultimate UItrons head is made up of three pieces and ironman built a suit and a cage for Hulk. P.S. the Green Goblin set is a Juniors set, so it won't be very detailed. Quote
just2good Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 P.S. the Green Goblin set is a Juniors set, so it won't be very detailed. Where is all this Juniors talk coming from? I was under the impression there would be no Juniors sets in the Summer. Quote

Brickset updated their Toy Fair report Part 2: http://brickset.com/article/13961/london-toy-fair-report-part-2, its down under the Marvel section. Edit: here's the text: "Update: I forgot to mention before now that I also spotted a new Green Goblin minifigure included in one of the Juniors sets. I didn't catch the set number, but I did notice that the set included a small flyer for Green Goblin and at least one pumpkin bomb. It looked very faithful to the comic book version and was a definite improvement over the bigfig included in 76016 Spider-Helicopter Rescue in my opinion." K-Nut Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Seems really lazy to me that they're just recycling Supergirl's face. Plus she has the same hairstyle, so it looks like a full on pallet change for the same figure. Now I'll go out and get a different hairpiece so it doesn't look like the same minifig. Hopefully the rest of the figures look fine for this wave. Quote
jasonwyngard Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 This and the fact that white tiger was nowhere to be seen when news of the summer sets started popping up shows that lego still doesn't care much for female superheroes. Do we know for sure if we'll have pictures on Wednesday? Quote

Do we know for sure if we'll have pictures on Wednesday? Actually, between the two subthemes (DC and Marvel) we are getting a record number of females this year. (2012, 2013, and 2014 were all 5 whereas this year is a "whopping" 7 so far). We've gotten both official pictures and picture leaks before from Nuremberg Toy Fair, so I'd say its possibly, even likely, but not guaranteed. Edited January 23, 2015 by psqidexslizer248 Quote

I know. It deeply saddens me...They all have generic/inaccurate faces and for the most part, the same hair. Lego needs to step up their game Quote

Okay, that sounds pretty good. I really want to see goblin! Actually, between the two subthemes (DC and Marvel) we are getting a record number of females this year. (2012, 2013, and 2014 were all 5 whereas this year is a "whopping" 7 so far). But over half of them are variants so it's still not great. But it is getting slightly better. Quote

Ceroknight Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Sorry, I'm very late with all the Lego Marvel news.. Ultron looks hilariously bad! Easily worst minifigure of 2015 The Helicarrier sounds awesome! Can't wait for the non-Avengers sets even more! Quote
Ultron Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Ultron looks hilariously bad! Easily worst minifigure of 2015 There's no way. He may not be as accurate as we want him, but the printing on him and his drones is amazing, not to mention the shiny gray and silver colors he comes in. He's better than the awful Scuba Robin from this year. Quote
Scarilian Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Well, it's almost Friday and nothing.... What's up with that Helicarrier?? Answers; - TheBrickFan stated it was a rumour for the release this week, as such it might not appear this week - The week doesnt end till Sunday, have patience Personally i think we'll see it on the 28th.
