"He attacked us first remember" Darksten says with little remorse for the body in front of him "after all, sounds like him and our contact didn't get along too well anyways." While eying the loot, the ranger mentions: "well there is an clear way to divide this evening, but I would be willing to swap my share of the venom for some more gold if someone is willing. But I don't mind getting a venom either as it has certainly helped in the past..." Quote

Grimwald frowns suddenly as he remembers the task at hand. "Well, we'd better get on with it then." And with that, he leads the party into the doctor's house (or to at least knock on the door). Quote

Particular set of skills I have.. Er.. deduced that you really are the heroes that the doctor hired. I am... The butler! Yes, that's the one! Lose me on head won't I. As you can see we had a break in, Didn't we Matilda?" "Yessir" The women nods and continues sweeping objects into a corner. "So you can.. Um... See why we've been a bit paranoid. Yes. Ramsacked, it was. I'd be happy if you didn't tell the Doctor we were ramsacked. I was here at the time... Er.. Hanging, You could say." The butler shrugs. "Go on through when you're ready." As the butler explains the story of the break in, Darksten begins to 'investigate' the items being swept into the corner, and the books on the bookshelf "So the doctor wasn't here when the break in occurred? There was even a carrot there. The books are all untitled leather bound things, however dates have been scribbled on the side. The earliest date is 100 years ago. "A break in, you say. Did you manage to get a look at the intruder?" "Wait, exactly when did the break-in occur?" Deus asked, as, judging by the butler's words, it had only been a short time ago. "Yes, a break in.... Er.. Last night infact. That's why Tilly here is sweeping up. Aren't you? I didn't see his face, but he.. Or she.. was an Elf. I.. Um.. Saw that much. And he - it wore a cape. Yes."
