After their defeat at the Ford of Bruinen, Sauron gave the Nine Nazgul new steeds-flying Fell Beasts. They were mostly unused until the full outset of the War of the Ring, when they later participated in the Battle of the Pelennor Fields, and later the stand at the Black Gate. They were all presumably destroyed with the fall of Barad-dur and passing of Sauron.

And here is one.

Hear its screech.

Closeup of the head.

Shot of the wing.

The saddle.

The neck.

The gallery when public.

[piercing shriek]AIEEEEEERAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!![/piercing shriek]

Ta da!

Very bad looking beasts, in the best way of the word, of course, ahem, I mean, ah well,

Nice work, allthough I think it needs some more "wing".

The models I have of a Fell Beast, the wings are HUGE, comparing to the rest of the beast.

But everything else *y*

I must agree! It looks fantastic, although the wings are really lacking. Maybe some dark Viking wings would cut it!

It's a very nice idea, and you've used some great techniques with the technic, but those wings are really puny!

They should be four times longer in length. *y*

Hewkii, this is a great creation! The MOC puts good use to a lot of unusual pieces. I also like how you gave the rider a black face, thus adding to the darkness of it all. (Both figuratively and literally. ;-))

I agree with this man. Had it not been for the specific wing link I would have remained oblivious!
