williejm Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Loving the new minifigures. Also nice to see a couple more non-straight (Patty & Smithers) characters as official Lego minifigures. Dumbledore was getting lonely.
LegoDakin Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Santa's Little Helper should have come with Bart then replace Maggie with Skinner as she just looks the same as the others, Comic Book Guy doesn't look right though.
merman Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 So how can the roof fit? I don't see tiles on the brown slopes.
cimddwc Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 The roof sits lower - between the dark orange slopes, on light gray tiles. Check the image that shows the inside open from the back.
MAB Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Comic Book Guy doesn't look right though. He does look a bit skinny!
The Executive Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Is Bart on the arcade machine on the other side? I can't see it too well.

Since there's Krappabbel, but why they don't put Skinner?? It's just like Moe which he supposed to be in the first wave. Edited March 13, 2015 by legofanatic12
Captain Nemo Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 I understand why they put Maggie in again; it's because they put normal eyes Maggie in the Simpsons house rather than in the first CMF wave (with the other normal family versions). So unless you were one of the people who bought that set, you only have a scared expression Maggie, rather than a (presumably more desired) normal version. I'm not upset by her inclusion of anything, I just feel like Lego was covering their bases.
Dorayaki Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Well at least they could've given Maggie an alternative dress like the rest of her family, I believe. That's how I see the repetitive versions of Simpsons from the Mart set.
Dark Knight Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Everything about this set is great, I love it. BUT... Come on LEGO... I CAN'T stand the stickers!!!!
XAxles Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Everything about this set is great, I love it. BUT... Come on LEGO... I CAN'T stand the stickers!!!! There's a guy a few pages ago who listed the printed pieces. Just to give you an idea: There's LOADS of them!!!
namioik Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 What the.....Maggie is the same piece from the last series?!? Darn it
DD840 Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 There's a guy a few pages ago who listed the printed pieces. Just to give you an idea: There's LOADS of them!!! How do we know at this stage, though? I think there's more stickers than new printed pieces. For example, the soup can looks like a sticker to me.
8BrickMario Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 (edited) I don't think they would put stickers on 1x1 round bricks...those are usually printed. If one looks at the edges, the borders of stickers should be visible if there are any. The signs are stickers. the food items and magazines are not. Edited March 13, 2015 by 8BrickMario
escortmad79 Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 (edited) I think it was a bit awkward for LEGO to figure out how to give Patty and Selma accessories that weren't cigarettes, but an eye chart? What episode was that from? The episode where Selma states she wants a baby & she goes on a date with Moleman & pictures their kids running into each other & one falling out of the window & throws him out of her car. Moleman looks at the eyechart in the DMV & gets them all wrong Since there's Krappabbel, but why they don't put Skinner?? Leaves him as an exclusive for Springfield Elementary School when that gets released. Possibly along with Super Nintendo Chalmers Edited March 13, 2015 by escortmad79
Kez Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 I think I had you beat by a bit on that prediction ;) My Post #102 from Oct 21st 2014 Your Post #26 from from Dec 13 2014 But I will admit that you specifically said "sticker" in post #268 where I was hoping for minifig but expecting sticker and didn't specify either way lol Haha thanks for digging that out, I tried looking for it earlier but gave up looking through my 'recent posts' . At first I thought that Lego could've included him as a minifigure but then in the latter post I realised that it would be easier for them to create a sticker (which with our great predictive minds working collaboratively to decide that Lego would include his appearance in the set in any format has proven to be right ).
The Executive Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 I'm hoping maybe if this set sells well they might sell like two large sets per year instead of one.
Robert8 Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 MY GOD... The Comic Book Guy looks horrendous I didn't noticed before. They shouldn't recreate chubby characters if they don't give them a fat torso. Can't believe it passed the desing phase

Sadly, Manjula and Sanjay did not featured in the Kwik-E Mart set also. Possibly along with Super Nintendo Chalmers It's Superintendent Gary Chalmers, not Super Nintendo. And don't forget Dewey Largo, Lunchlady Doris, Sherri/Terri Mackleberry, Jimbo Jones, and Elizabeth Hoover. Edited March 14, 2015 by legofanatic12
Robert8 Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Maybe he will be remade in 2016 Android Comic Book Store set. That makes me think about the minifigures we'll get in that set... Comic Book Guy and Bart are pretty obvious but, will they release the same Bart minifigure from S1 and the Kwik-E-Mart for the third time? It's Superintendent Gary Chalmers, not Super Nintendo. And don't forget Dewey Largo, Lunchlady Doris, Sherri/Terri Mackleberry, Jimbo Jones, and Elizabeth Hoover. Ralph calls him Super Nintendo Chalmers in one episode. It's a joke

Robert8 Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 http://instagram.com/p/zWKAwqk3xU/ We need Skinner and Chalmers in Series 3
Itaria No Shintaku Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 http://instagram.com/p/zWKAwqk3xU/ I lolled at that.
Ordinareo Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 I hope we get Skinner,Moe,Chalmers,Lenny and Carl in the next series
