Hotdog Guy and Satan Cultist guy look too easy to cherry pick. I really want Disco Stu guy and Unicorn suit girl.

The Evil Wizard is actually inspired by the fictional character and there is no connection to any religious beliefs.

That's fine. You call him what you want. I choose to call him Satan Cultist guy.

I find it funny that they included him in the series along with:

Carpenter aka Jesus

Alien Trooper aka Cthulhu

A snake aka Set

Maybe TLG is trying to embrace all religions, and none at the same time. Come on Flying Spaghetti monster....

I've read that they have been sold in OREGON.

I picked a couple up yesterday. A FredMeyer in Corvallis Oregon had put two boxes out early. I pulled 2 space troopers, hot dog guy, alien trooper, snake charmer, and a unicorn.

I would have sent this reply in a pm so as not to further clutter the topic, but I can't.

Was it the use of the word "Cultist"? I can see how that would imply negativity. Otherwise it was a pretty passive comment.

As for the rule about religious discussion on the site, the very product this forum is about has many religious imagery/subjects: including Celtic, Native American, Egyptian, and Christian, among others. What am I supposed to call the Santa Claus figure, Red Pajamas and White Beard guy? Or call the Advent Calendar, the Calendar with Doors? Santa even appears in a banner with a Christmas tree on this very site. I'm just try to figure out where the line is drawn.

Again, apologies for cluttering the thread, but I can't send pms.

Is that the same as Foods Co?

I'm not sure if it is. There aren't any Foods co. around here. Feed Meyer is a grocery store that sells electronics furniture toys ect. I'm pretty sure it is a mistake because they don't have any minifigs at the other Fred Meyer in the area.

Those figures are not worth the markup. Especially since you don't know what you're getting.

Hoping Christmas comes early this year; I will be looking for them when I go shopping tomorrow. Looking in Target, Walmart, TRU... Any other US stores I should try looking in?

Noted on the above. No worries at all. Glad we cleared it up, it is just a friendly reminder and I am quite concerned that others might interpret wrongly.

Try Walgreens. They will have them early like what they did in Series 12 because TRU and Target will have them soon, but they won't put in the shelves until Jan 1, 2015.

So, what's up with the eyes next to the Hot Dog Man in the catalog?

Is there any chance you can unlock a new minifigure if you enter the 16 codes in the game? A Series 14 minifigure, maybe?

And, do we know something about the prizes yet?

Mine only has Simpsons and series 12, but @ $3.19 a pack. So of course I bought a bunch!

I work at the Fred Meyer store in The Dalles, ORE. We got in 9 Cases of the succulent Series 13, but my boss (seeing the "Don't Put on shelves 'til January !st" Message on the Shipping Cartons) has Vetoed my Plan to Up our Stocking Stuffer Sales ("Just THINK of the increased Profits from merely the Sales to ME!!" I plead. [^D) It is going to be VERY hard on me 'til the First of the Year... :^(

The image we have is from the catalog. Someone in the Bionicle thread pointed out that there are ninja images throughout the catalog to promote Ninjago. It was already noted that the eyes looked like the Ninjago image, so this likely has nothing to do with the CMFs.

There is nothing enforcing you to buy the figures without knowing which one you have. You can feel the parts inside packets to determine the minifigure inside.

I was referring to the Ebay listing. $11.99 for a random figure just does not seem right. Sorry if I didn't make that clear.

Lol, I like your use of the word "succulent." I think that describes this Series for me, too. But I wonder... Do some stores just disregard the message on the shipping cartons and put them on the shelves anyway? Also makes me wonder if employees are able to get their hands on them before customers can.

I'm betting that a Graveyard Shift Stocker just didn't notice the Date Warning in Corvallis. It seems unlikely, given the size of the label, but I'm sure it could happen. :^)

Tragically, in the case of THIS employee, the answer is "NO!", otherwise I would be awash right now in Kings, Evil Sorcerers, and Goblin Army Builders! I am referred to in the Store as "The Lego Whisperer", if any customers want a certain Mini-Figure from the Case, I will "Feel up The Bags" and Find them the one they want. I have a fairly faithful bunch of customers, and a 100% Success Rate! [^D

No luck finding any Series 13 figures today.

Walmart had 3 full cases of Series 12 figures, so I ended up buying a Battle Goddess and Spooky Girl for my sister (they were surprisingly easy to feel for).

Target only had 4 mystery bags left: a Spooky Girl, a Wizard and two (!) Rock Stars.

Toys 'R' Us had all of its Series 12 figures in a dispenser, so I didn't even bother with them after the first one I felt up (Dino Tracker).

The two Walgreens I checked had no figures, period. :(

I would make a conjecture that there was no warning on the boxes in the first place, but that also seems highly unlikely.

I would also probably be looking through them as soon as they came in! And thankfully this series looks to have some pieces for each figure you can easily feel for and identify.
