jorgeopesi Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 One of the best I have seen , I like the colors. Quote
grum64 Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 (edited) What a great entry, reminds me of the 8274. Edited June 29, 2014 by grum64 Quote
TinkerBrick Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Brilliant. Great colors - matches the Claas machines, doesn't it? Quote
Technic Gearhead Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 8274 Junior - I love it! Very well done! Quote
Rockbrick Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 This one so far is the only one I see as a set lego would produce.... Quote
Zerobricks Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 I just noticed how cleverly the head engages when lowered and disengages when raised. Thats smart! Quote
TheItalianBrick Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 one of the best so far! love it, plus color scheme is wonderful! COngratulations!! Quote
Appie Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Really nice model and as Zblj pointed out nice technique on the head. If I'd give a little suggestion on this nice model is to move the LA control to the side and steering on top instead of on the back. Model is fine if you don't though. Quote
BondemandClausen Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 I like your mini combine harvester, Claas style. And as a farmer i must say that it is the most innovative harvester i have seen in many years, with two unloading augers. I don't think it is ever seen before !! Normally there is only one on the left hand side. Must increase the efficiency. Quote
nikolyakov Posted June 30, 2014 Author Posted June 30, 2014 (edited) Thanks your kind words guys! Brilliant. Great colors - matches the Claas machines, doesn't it? Yes, colors based Claas but I dont have enough white parts, so some white missing Really nice model and as Zblj pointed out nice technique on the head. If I'd give a little suggestion on this nice model is to move the LA control to the side and steering on top instead of on the back. Model is fine if you don't though. LA knob places fine and easy to reach but yes HoG steering maybe more comfortable. Thanks for advice I like your mini combine harvester, Claas style. GoldVillage Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 nicely done! contains the same functions as the 8274 - but with 5-6 times less parts! ;) Quote
kennywest Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 As a fan of agricultural equipment, I like what you've done, but: - As already said, I have never seen a combine with two discharge spouts, I think you should drop one - as a result, you have more pieces to spend, maybe add a fake engine :) Quote
Edwin Korstanje Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Stunning entry . Great Looks, colors and functions. Love it  Quote
Jeroen Ottens Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Very nice model. Apart from the other recommendations I would also spend some bricks on closing the sides. It looks a bit open to me now. Quote
Appie Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 LA knob places fine and easy to reach but yes HoG steering maybe more comfortable. Thanks for advice LA knob is fine yeah, I mentioned it in combination with the HoG steering, since those 2 axles would cross and easiest fix would to be move LA control to the side, but like I said, just a minor thing, seems perfectly playable the way it is. nikolyakov Posted July 1, 2014 Author Posted July 1, 2014 Thanks for comments As requested, here's the fixed LDD file: http://www.brickshel...e_harvester.lxf Thanks for your interest Zblj As a fan of agricultural equipment, I like what you've done, but: - As already said, I have never seen a combine with two discharge spouts, I think you should drop one - as a result, you have more pieces to spend, maybe add a fake engine :) Very nice model. Apart from the other recommendations I would also spend some bricks on closing the sides. It looks a bit open to me now. One of the reasons why this is actually two pipes. I think i will remove right side and then i gain extra bricks for sides Quote
dropship Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 I registered just to write that this looks awesome! Quote
kieran Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Very sweet! It looks official! Great job. agree this is amazing and really does look like a small set you could go a get the at the toy shop Quote
barman Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 This is one of the best entry's! Very nice design. I agree with the others, that removing one of the discharge sprouts and perhaps remove one of the four blade on each side of the combine (use the liftarm rotor 3 blade thin) to reduce parts and with that make a HOG steering and make the side of the truck more closed. These should be nice improvements to an already wonderful MOC. Quote
