Brilliant. I love it. It's like a western equivalent of cafe corner *wub*

I like the washing line and the interior of the buildings, as well as the exteriors. As Mr Phes said, you've really captured the look of a Mexican town. Nice use of one of the new dwarf beards, too *sweet*

Very Nice *wub*

Nice MOC 007. It is nice to see a new creation from you. I really like the overall look of this and I love the way you did the brick and the spanish tile roof!! *wub* *wub* May I ask why you chose to replicate the Cafe Corner windows? That takes away from it a bit for me. And a small thing, because I'm a wanker for details, those cannon balls would not fit in that cannon :-P although, I think the cannon looks great! X-D I think my favorite part are the chickens, though! Thanks for sharing and nice work! *sweet*

You have so much detail in this MOC X-O ! I love the roofs on the houses, and the interior of the lady's room is my favorite; (the bed is lovely) and I also really like the chicken pen. You really captured the essence of a Mexican village, I think *y* !

This is exactly the kind of thing I'd like to see in my frequently mentioned Zorro theme. He could go from rooftop to rooftop, sliding down the beautiful tile roof, dueling with the army, romancing the damsel, returning money to the old man. All kinds of potential there.

But yeah, what's up with those Cafe Corner windows? (blame Hinckley for drawing attention to it ;-) ) Other than those, I love everything in there from that tile roof I mentioned to the custom cannon, the chickens, the exposed beams, even the clothesline. It all blends perfectly to give just the right feel.

Planning to expand? Please share! *y*

This is amazing, you've really captured the essence here oo7! I just love all the fine detailing, and also the technique used to create roof on the white building deserves mentioning! *y*

Great writers often had that one book which instantly made them famous.

That's what this MOC is for you. It shows how much your skills have improved and the talent you have.

I've looked at all the pictures twice already (and I'll look at them again).

This is the perfect MOC with a great overall look, incredible details and perfect choices for the colors.

Also the way you've placed the minifigs and took the pictures is *y*

Hola Mexico!!! Why do I love this MOC? Because it's Mexican, and Mexico reminds me of Tacos...

I LOVE TACOS!!! *wub* *wub*

Very stunning moc! The whole moc really feels like Mexico and I really love the details. The part I like best are easily the white pants that have been hung out to dry. :-D

Absolutely beautiful!!! That roof is brilliant. A huge improvement on your (all ready very good) MOCs! Such a nice feel, scale, and simplicity. The only improvement I could suggest would be a few less studs showing...

God Bless,

Nathan

A wonderful MOC with lots of fine details like that great tiled roof,

the clothesline, that little brickwall and the whole nice interior. *y*

The facade of your tan building is plain impressive too.

Excellent work, smart in size and proportion with a neat color scheme

and an overall very lively and vivid atmosphere! :'-)

Wow *wub* wow *wub* wow *wub* an exceptional MOC

Love the level of detail - enough to keep me going back for more and more looks, yet not over fussy and too crowded

My jealousy factor is increasing daily at the quality of the MOC'ing and wish I had the skill/parts to do some of my own

Wow, Mr. Phes! What an awesome compliment.

Very nice! I just saw this on BS.

Thank you, Mr. Rhymer! *y*

Thank you, Mr. Pies! I wan't really sure how well the beard fit in but knew I had to use a new piece from the Dwarven Mine somewhere. :-P

Ah, it's great to read a comment from you on one of my new creations, old friend. The CC thing started from the fact that I was too lazy to build by own window structure but it later evolved into something quite good, if I do say so myself. It's funny how some people think it's the best part of the place while others find it significantly hindering. And yes, I usually use those cannon balls for the 18-pounder prefabs of the Pirate theme, but I think it would ruin the atmosphere If I used some sort of rounded plate or brick on the ground. I like my cannon balls spherical. *pirate*

Oh yes, that bed design is floating around Brickshelf and many other places out there, I'm not sure if anyone knows who came up with it first. It's very nice, anyways. (and if you are observant, you will also notice that has a strong resemblance to a certain section of the Cafe Corner)

i mean, of course there are some techniques here-and-there, that i don't like... but it looks really good overall, and it's hard to argue with that.

the scene is busy, yet clean at the same time... i attribute some of that to well taken photographs, but i think the MOC in general must posses some kind of "cleanness."

im sure i'll come back to this several times - BM

Yeah, my exact thoughts will building the clothesline was "Brick Miner's going to hate this......" :-D I do find the photography comment funny however, I really dislike the quality first picture I posted in this thread (but it has the best angle, you see) but I think all the rest of then are nice. :-/ Thank you very much BM!

Ooo, expand? I'm not sure of that yet.....Well anyway, I was actually had "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" playing when I started building this and built it for the most part. It has an excellent soundtrack, perhaps that was what motivated me so much. :-P But yes, I'd say this would fit right in with Obi-Juan-Kenobi's Zorro Layout. I guess that would be historically set in Union Califronia, however, not the Arizona territory....Many thanks, anyway!

Thanks, Mr. Frisian! I usually try to add as much detail to things as possible, even when its not necessary.

That's a very, very nice MOC, oo7!

The outside and the interior are very well built.

I espacially like the old man with his pipe and the many different colors and pieces you used.

Very well done!

Ah, Mexico, the land that brought us the day of the dead and tacos. Good times! In my opinion, this would be a great idea for a contest: The Mexico rebirth contest.

X-D I'm gonna put a trademark on that.

Que Belates! *wub* Wait, that's Italian.... Me enchanta tu MOC! I like the use ofthe pirates printed wall panels and the use of the new dwarf beard! Super job! I'd like to see this expanded! 8-

I love the detail in these MOCs. The interior of the buildings are done well, and the birds are great (I remember seeing them in another Mexican-like MOC). It certainly has that Mexican feel to it. My only gripe is the use of the dwarf beard, I'm still not used to it being used without the dwarf helmet, it seems way too chunky. EDIT: I just saw Hinckley's sig-fig and thought, "I wonder what Hinckley would look like in that beard..." Don't ask why. X-D
