skcheung Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 A new addition to my LEGO Friends' theme park. (Soon not to be new because I am currently building part 6). This should have been the first of the series because this is my daughter's most favourable ride in a amusement park. I don't know why I build this so late. My build starts with this big gear at the centre. That's a retired part from Star War set 4481. It helps me a lot. Of course it is always better to watch the relevant video clip than to look at still pics: My former works of the Friends' Theme Park for your easy reference: 1. Hobbythom Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Very creative use of parts. I like the walkway you've added, gives a sence of realsm. This is beginning to become a rather big amusement park! Quote
Asper Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 That's clever solution. I like the way how you presented the mechanism in the video. Quote

skcheung Posted April 27, 2014 Author Posted April 27, 2014 Lego Friends meets Lego Technic..... excellent Thank you, but everyone knows.... LEGO Friends and LEGO Technic are impossible combination for TLG ... lol Quote
Rick Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Thank you, but everyone knows.... LEGO Friends and LEGO Technic are impossible combination for TLG ... lol I don't think that's limited to the Friends theme. Besides, they do use Technic pieces to, for example, construct the basketball ring in Heartlake High, the attachment of the sign in Downtown Bakery and the fenced area in Summer Riding Camp. The pieces aren't used for technically sophisticated functions, but neither are they in, for example, the City theme. Quote
skcheung Posted April 27, 2014 Author Posted April 27, 2014 Yup. Sorry to mislead you. I mean LEGO Friends and Power Function. Quote
