Sorry if this is the wrong forum. THE-FORCE Those little guys are great. But they are now running into the same issue I had with the action figures of saturation. They've done all the main characters and now are getting to characters I don't want or need. Plus, mixing them with the old core characters so you end up with 37 Lukes! Anyway, to answer your question, in many cases the figures have 1 point of articulation. For the jedi, its usually the wrist with the lightsaber. For others, its usually an arm. None of the legs move. The weapons are molded or glued to the hands that hold them. They are, so to speak, INaction figures. -Tohst
April 4, 200816 yr I could not see this thread being closed before I share some images of my SW Galactic Hero collection. These are on a small shelf but not the complete collection with ships and other figs I never opened: The backdrops are attached to the back of the shelf and made from printed images on photo paper. The Empire Jedi collection: Hoth Battle: Tatooine Desert: Anakin & Friends: Bounty Hunters: Han with Carbonite: Jaba and Others: Jaba's Palace & Yoda: Battledroids: Speeders: Troopers: Again, this is not the complete collection but those that I chose to open and display. The figs are mixed a bit, but a nice collection of SW figs. I like Galactic Heroes as they are fun and don't have accessories that are easy to loose. These figs are esp. nice for smaller children.
April 4, 200816 yr Author I sounds stupid but can anything move? So yeah: What? And where do you buy them? Edited April 4, 200816 yr by THE-FORCE
April 4, 200816 yr Interesting, I had no idea there were so many figures available. Your collection is most impressive. Not my cup of tea, but I can see why younger children would like them - looks like most of the figures badly need the toilet though. :) Is there a big collector's market for these? Dr. S.
April 5, 200816 yr I sounds stupid but can anything move?So yeah: What? And where do you buy them? Yes, many of the arms move, and some have removable items (like helmets). Most or all of the guns and hand-held items are molded as part of the figs. They are available at most stores that carry regular SW figs in the same aisle. Is there a big collector's market for these? They come out in "waves" just like the regular SW figs, but usually only around 4-5 sets are available per wave. Each set/box contains two figs. There are store exclusives sets that come out periodically from Target, Toys R Us, and Walmart. These sets are collections of figs (like the Jabba's Palace collection with around 8-12 figs in one set). I find that a number of figs are very hard to find and go quickly in stores (just like regular SW figs). I've seen them on Ebay before and some comic book stores for a hefty price. They also make a few ships and larger creatures. It's a fun collection.
April 5, 200816 yr Author @The Brickster do you know a good internet shop for them, please no american site I can't ship from there(I live in the netherlands) and who is the empire jedi with the green lightsaber. But I just ordered Jango Fett and Obi-Wan! :'-) Edited April 5, 200816 yr by THE-FORCE
April 5, 200816 yr @The Brickster do you know a good internet shop for them, please no american site I can't ship from there(I live in the netherlands) and who is the empire jedi with the green lightsaber. I have never ordered any on-line, so I'm sorry I don't know any shops for you. In addition, living in the US, I don't know any sites outside the US. The green sabered fig is Luke from Return of the Jedi. I just placed him within the Empire collection because of the black clothing.
April 6, 200816 yr I don't have the Star Wars ones, but the Transformers ones I do have have various ranges of articulation, from motion at the arms, to head articulation. A few of them even have waist articulation!
