Hi, I am just looking around wookieepedia and found a link to the proper page (In the site of course  ) about this live-action series and I need to admit that after reading all the article I get really excited about them :sweet: . So the question is very simple, what do you expect from this show and what do you wish they [Lucasfilms] include in them?

Personally, I want that they continue at least a bit the story of the Great Jedi Purge. I know TFU done a little bit with this theme but I want they to use this one even more  . But the most probably theme for the show is Boba Fett. If the show is more about Boba Fett than we can expect A LOT from this show. Also Lucas told various magazines that this show will be directed to a more mature audience so they can make a lot of darker stories and put some more strong language (Like the word hell) on it :sweet: .

Also I think the TLC will release sets about this show in 2010 just like they did with the CW this one  .

I'm not sure what to expect from this show. The fact that it is made for a mature audience and will have a dark tone sounds promising, but it is said that there wont be many main characters in the show, so I'm pretty skeptic, because this means that we wont see much of Boba Fett or Vader. And without Vader, you can't really have a Jedi Purge. :sceptic: So it seems it will be mostly EU. I'm not a big fan of the EU because it tends to go too far from what my definition of SW is. But TFU was practically EU as well, and I liked the story of TFU, so if they can pull off a show with episodes that are similar to the style of TFU, I'd be happy, but without main characters, it will be hard for them to do so. :sadnew: We'll just have to wait and see.

I would like this show to have good sound design and special effects. It's one of the things that defined SW in the first place and one of the things that I most enjoy about watching SW. :classic:

What I also expect of this show is to be suitable for a Lego License and to feature many cool vehicle for TLC to release!

I like EU, as long as it doesn't get too out there, like the Yuuzhan Vong or as annoying as the newer book series, Legacy of the Force...

If we get an extended license out of this, I don't care how bad the series is. (If it's good too, that's a plus)

About the actual series, I hope it's more in the OT time period. Lucas has really stretched the CW thing, so it'd be nice to have a break....

Well, it has been said to be between episodes III and IV, so it's going to not have any Clone Wars stuff, which is good because I think Clone Wars is more suited to animation. Hopefully a darker feel will be prominent, and hopefully Lucas won't get to touch it. There would be nothing worse than having a die-hard Star Wars fan that has incredible ideas in charge of the show, but having executive meddling strip away the good parts.

Err, great minds think alike?

I'd love it if this ran through the FU story, the guy who played Galen Marek said he would like to appear. It would be good if Vader goes to kill Ashoka (Not knowing its her) but he doesn't, but it infulences him more. (Vader wanted to kill Sid at the begining you know!)

ehh.. I don't know. The last the (first three i guess) weren't all that good. SOiguess i'm not expecting all that much froma full blown live action series. But i'll with hold ful judgment till i see some clips.

Wouldn't be surprised if it's just a bunch of different tales of all sorts of different characters each episode... like barely having the same guy in more than one episode, save for an episode or two with Yoda, Vader and Obi getting to cameo.

I hope it's not centered in some way around Boba Fett.

I mean hell, I loved his character design on the toy (with it's infamous rocket launcher description covered up by a sticker on the back of the package.)

I loved him in Empire, sneaking around and mainly being badass while stormtroopers were mere cannon fodder.

But Return of the Jedi kinda' killed him for me, as with many other characters and a chunk of the franchise...

Come on, he was a guy on a cable. Think more 'Jango beating the hell out of Obi', and you'll be better.

Well, Lucas had say that this series will not feature main characters such as Vader or Obi but you will hear the protagonists characters in the story mention them  . Also I think this is a good way they can show how some minor Jedis were killed by mercenaries and bounty hunters (The true story is that the mercenaries and bounty hunters killed more Jedis than Vader himself  ). Also maybe we will see some cool effect if they are well done cause the estimated budget for each episode will be 2-4 million dollars  .

LOL! The other funny thing in that pic besides boba flying on a cable is that luke missed the guard with his kick yet his blaster gets thrown in the air :laugh:

I really like the between III-IV timeline it's more dark, The Empire rules, The rebellion is'nt a force to be reckoned with yet its Imperial Supremecy which I like :vader:

I dont really know what to think of it yet, But im sure it will be good, And if it comes out in 2010 as said I think TLC has a reason to extend the licence. :sweet:

Hunting Jedi ON! :vader:

Rebels. Rebels, rebels, rebels. We've gotten to see the brotherly camaraderie of the Clones, we've gotten to see the unfortunate draftees of the Empire, and we've gotten to see the antics of the Droids. And personally, I think what we're missing is some serious Rebellion development. That would rule.

After seeing what Lucas did with the Clone Wars TV Series, I don't have high hopes. I just don't think you can take such a big movie series and put it on the small screen. I think going from small screen to big like Star Trek isn't that big of a deal, but the other way around just doesn't work.

Well, if they manage to do some incredible dogfight sequences the way BSG did, that could be awesome.

But considering what a mess they've made with The Clone Wars serie, I'm not expecting much from this one, now...

Wait and see, I guess

Well the

Rebels were only formed at the end of Force Unleashed, so it depends when it's set if we get rebels or not.

Now I am excited :cry_happy: Boba and Jango are my fave characters!!!!!! I liked them way before I was really into SW. If it's based around Boba I'll watch it no matter what! :sweet:

Also Boba survives :oh:

Denger saves him but he looses his memory (there's a more technical term used though  )

So maybe it's based around how he gets his memory back maybe? :look:

When's it due?

No, this is set before IV.

:hmpf: It's not gonna be "based" on anybody. It will be about random new rebels and surviving Jedi, with main characters only showing up from time to time.

When's it due?

It's set to debut in about a year.

Cool thanks guys, oh well hopefully Boba will show up more reguly than the other ones

The only bad thing I can think of is that it will only be on pay tv :sceptic:

I think this series could be pulled off well, based on the grounds that it doesn't follow the "kid" theme that is in the Cartoon Network show (Which is, indeed, for kids). Here's hopin' :cry_happy: .
