Bricktooth Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 This is my LEGO interpretation of the Tumbler, Batman's vehicle in the Nolan films. This was a hard MOC to do, because of all the angles, but I think I solved that problem pretty well. It unfortunately cannot seat minifigs, because there is not enough space inside, but I'm trying to find a solution to that. Overview, with Batman: From the front: The interior (sorry for my camera reflecting on the transparent piece): The back: The "cockpit": The underside: Brickshelf folder (when public) Quote
Vindicare Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 That's a great midi scale Tumbler. You really got the shape spot on. All the details are there and the angles are right. Quote
Ceroknight Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 It's very well done! You made the overall shaped nicely Quote
The Blue Brick Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 Yes, great design and shapes. I too tried at making a tumbler, but too came to the trouble of trying to fit the minifigure inside. Quote
friedchikenfairy Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 Despite the fact that it can't hold a mini figure, all of the angles are stunningly accurate The studs just make the overall aesthetic really tough and militaristic looking. I hope you can find a way to incorporate the driver's area! Good job! Quote
Bricktooth Posted July 5, 2012 Author Posted July 5, 2012 Thanks for the compliments! I will update the topic when I find a solution to the problems with the interior. Quote
JackJonespaw Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 I've seen a lot of Tumblers, and I love them all! Yours looks really nice! I love all of the angles and shaping in this! Nice job! Quote
