JINZONINGEN73 Posted February 9, 2007 Posted February 9, 2007 (copied from BZ) Truth be told, I had nearly no time to work on this. In fact, I only figured out what the technical feature would be 30 minutes before the end of the contest entry time. X D Be nice, this is my first time building an actual structure. :P --Eyes turn --Teeth swing down to dump 2 firey boulders down the staircase Victim, shadow assassins, Mordren, and one crazy undead doctor building a zombie. Gallery, when public: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=232750 I would've liked to had time to hunt through the bins and build some light gray rocks around the head tower, but, well... contest was closing. : / On a side note, not only did I whip the feature up a half hour before posting, but ALOT of the slopes were purple. I never unassembled / reassembled that fast on a moc, ever. (In case you're wondering, the contest called for a black and red castle / tower / medieval stronghold type dealie in red and black, alond with SOME kind of mechanical function. Quote
Zaktan of the Shadows Posted February 9, 2007 Posted February 9, 2007 Ooh, nice! Good colors, nice use of Vakama heads. I also like da zombie and the guy with Ha-ya-to's hair. Sweet. -ZotS Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted February 11, 2007 Governor Posted February 11, 2007 What an awesome idea for a set this is! X-D Where did those base plates with the flames originate from? Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 Very nice, and very creative. The baseplates appear to be road plates with perhaps homemade lava/fire decals. Quote
Darkness Falls Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 Very nice, and very creative. The baseplates appear to be road plates with perhaps homemade lava/fire decals. Are you guys for serious? Those are from the Movie-Maker set, way back when. Great apocalyptic baseplates. Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted February 19, 2007 Governor Posted February 19, 2007 Yes, seriously I'd never seen them before. What's the set number for the Movie-Making set - I'll go look it up. Quote

I'm not sure what the number is... It was one of the first, though. Steven Speilberg signed, etc. Anyway, it was a hundred dollar set. Quote
JINZONINGEN73 Posted February 26, 2007 Author Posted February 26, 2007 Yah, that big Spielberg set with the webcam and (useless) green dinosaur. Anyway, it was a hundred dollar set. Yah, but I snagged three of them, under $30. They were opened, but complete... one actually crammed full of smaller Studios sets. Goodwill stores... lol. X-D Quote
