Tudor Toys is a tough challenge to me due to my limited collection of sand blue pieces. Only 3 types of sand blue pieces, 1x2 brick, 1x2 45 degree slope, and 1x4 tiles are used here (My only 3...). The design is based loosely on the early mock tudor style. The G/F shop features exciting goodies including a football table, 2 pinball machines, a teddy bear and more. Upper floor continues the decoration style of Noname House, featuring a sofa based on a designer chair, a table, and a potted plant.

I am particularly proud of the texture of the octagonal tower walls and it's this little design that leads to the construction of the building.

I guess castle fans may find it useful for medievel towers, the trick? 1x1 brick with studs on 4 sides.

Overview of the shop:

Not very detailed, but it's a football table:

And here's a pinball machine:

Finally, the original chair:

That turret is fantastic! I thought at first it was 1x2 bricks offset like in a curved solid wall but then the detail shots revealed the slopes. Just amazing.

wow,great modular building.

i like it very much. color combination is great.

i like the the football table too.

BTW i still don't understand about the octagonal tower walls building technique.

if you don't mind, maybe you can show me the walls in loose,so i can really understand that awesome building technique. thanks in advance.

Nice job, here!

That "modern" tudor style is very interesting and the interior is full of lovely details like the pinball machines and the black&white chair

Thank you all!

Here's a 3-step instruction for building the wall:

Step 3

A 1x1 brick with studs on 4 sides has to be used for every 4 tan 1x1 brick in the middle. As you can see, the structure relies heavily on 1x1 bricks(I think I used at least 200 of them). While the tan 1x1 bricks on the sides can be replaced with 1x1 technic brick with hole and a technic half pin to improve sturdiness, I think the effect is not material enough to justify the additional cost.

I agree. The use of the slopes was a great surprise. I also like the designer chair!

Wicked! Truly wicked!

A masterpiece of unconventional designs and building methods!

That architecture and structure of the tower is really a work of genius!

Wow!!! That is simply stunning, some of the building techniques you've used are ingenious - the colour combinations and finer details are all spot on. And that lounge is one hell of a creation on its own, very clever. Well done! :classic:

Thanks guys!

My techniques are still immature and I still have a lot to learn :sweet: .

Dennimator, Here's a picture of a dissected football table for you:

Try to figure out how to make the Pinball machine yourself
