Erdbeereis Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 I absolutely love the Cannon Battle set, especially as a parts pack. So here's what you get when you bring together 5 of them! More pictures on Flickr. Thanks! Quote
Ye Olde Pirate Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 Yeah, that is an awesome set. Great for making an army. I have six of them. Quote

Zarkan Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 Lovely pictures, Erdbeereis! Honestly, Cannon Battle will probably be the first set ever that I get more than one of. It's such a good value that I'm sure I'll be getting two or three. Quote
castlestrike666 Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 The figs are great, but the cannons are just too adorable .. especially to make a battleship! Quote
Tim Bit Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 I may have to get a few of those and make some kind of circular wall around a pirate camp. I might even need to give the pirates a couple cannons to even it out. Quote
RTN LNA Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 (edited) Can you supersize my Cannon Battle? Yes, I think I could, would ether of these do (the pictures are linked): Note: I found pictures with a person in them for scale. enjoy Edited December 27, 2008 by RTN LNA (Lego Naval Architect) Quote

Ye Olde Pirate Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 (edited) omg.. have these cannons ever been used in battle? they're huuuge.. In the late middle ages they used those huge cannons in battle. I believe they are called bombards. Edited December 27, 2008 by Ye Olde Pirate Quote

Captain Green Hair Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 A strawberry dressed up as a terrorist with cannons...uh oh This must be the best impulse set yet, for little money you get a canon, a soldier, a spyglass and one of those new flame parts. I must get me some too Those big canons are indeed late medieval, but were also used throughout the age of sail. In the industrial age, they were around too, along with mortars and what not. Good to see some people in the pics for size indeed! Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 big, bigger biggest... Huge cannons indeed! Unfortunately I haven't a new pirate set yet but I'm going to stack them up soon. Nice MOC by the way! Quote

Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted December 29, 2008 Eurobricks Emperor Posted December 29, 2008 These sets combined with the soldier impulse sets make the best battle packs ever. Thanks for sharing this great picture! Quote
Admiral Woodhouse Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Cannon Battle is a great set. I have one and it really is a good army builder. Quote
WhiteFang Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 Erdy, I am feeling so impatient for the long wait of Pirate sets' arrival in my country. I must admit that this is going to be one of the much better small Pirate set is offering so much great parts, especially the cannon and the minifigs. Quote
Lockt Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 I think this set is an unfair battle for the nice pirate it incluides... Poor guy only has a tiny wall and a cutlass to defend himself. And even if he survives the first barrage of the cannons, the rifles of the soldiers will finish him. Unfair indeed.... ...and a very nice set as said ;-) Quote
Logbo Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 I think this set is an unfair battle for the nice pirate it incluides... Poor guy only has a tiny wall and a cutlass to defend himself. And even if he survives the first barrage of the cannons, the rifles of the soldiers will finish him. Unfair indeed.......and a very nice set as said ;-) He was silly enough to wait around while the lone solider dragged the canon into place, aimed it and loaded it.... IMO Poor solider for having to deal with retard pirates all day :D BTW, get 2, then the solider and the pirate can have 1 each while the other two minifigs battle it out with said cutlass's Quote
Ratshot Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 I just picked up a nother one today, I want to get 2 more, They are such a great set. I LOVE IT Quote
