Imperial Riot Trooper

A reasonably simple purist figure I made a little while ago, but never got around to posting.

I should also point out that it's not based on any source material. Just something I created. And as soon as I got the Skier figure, I thought the poles would be perfect for Electrostaffs.

I also figured the Empire would need to have something to keep angry civilians/rebels under control.

EDIT: I just realised that, due to some recent events, a riot trooper might be a little insensitive. Absolutely no offense was intended.

I do like the concept of an Imperial Riot Trooper, but the actually figure is to plane for my taste. Perhaps cut up some stickers from an official Lego sticker sheet and apply them to the figure? This member on The Cabg did the same thing. Link

I was going for a simple look, as that's how I've always imagined Stormtroopers. The variants aren't all colorful and special, unlike Clone Troopers.

I hadn't thought about cutting up stickers, though. I might check it out...

Also,Landshark, I would suggest using something else for the Riot trooper's "stun stick" ( is that what it's called?). It looks to skinny, to me anyways.

It does look a little thin, but it's not really meant to be a heavy-duty weapon. Just a 'stun stick' to keep people under control. I might see if I can find any other parts that would work better, though.
