Jedi master Brick Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 (edited) These look stunning again Sandy. By the end of some of the current quests someone should be level 15. Knight+Barbarian= Berserker Ranger+Cleric= Druid Rogue+Mage = Sorcerer Am I right? Edited October 26, 2011 by Jedi master Brick Quote
Quarryman Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 These look stunning again Sandy. By the end of some of the current quests someone should be level 15. Knight+Barbarian= Berserker Ranger+Cleric= Druid Rouge+Mage = Sorcerer Am I right? Almost right. (the border colours are a give-away clue by the way ) If you put rouge on a mage you get Nyx (), however, if you combine a Rogue with a Mage you'll get a Sorcerer. (and Sandy, I much preferred the earlier name of that class ) Quote
Sandy Posted October 26, 2011 Author Posted October 26, 2011 (and Sandy, I much preferred the earlier name of that class ) I remember changing it because I didn't want both a Warlock and a Witch into the fray. Besides, the name Sorcerer fits well with the abilities the class has. Quote
Fred Daniel Yam Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 I remember changing it because I didn't want both a Warlock and a Witch into the fray. Besides, the name Sorcerer fits well with the abilities the class has. Six out of fifteen now! I am going to spend the next hour guessing the other advanced classes. Quote
soccerkid6 Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Waterbrick in our quest when the werewolf archer shot everyone, he only does 2 damage to each person, so shouldn't my shield have stopped that? Quote
Sandy Posted October 26, 2011 Author Posted October 26, 2011 Waterbrick in our quest when the werewolf archer shot everyone, he only does 2 damage to each person, so shouldn't my shield have stopped that? Yes, it should have. I'm so glad I don't have any knights on my quest - I always forget to take their SP into calculation! Quote
Darth Nihilus Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 I want to see what happens when you mix a Barbarian with a Rogue! But those classes look amazing Sandy, too bad I am only Level 1. Can't wait to get to Level 15 now! Quote
Tanma Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 I wonder what a cleric and a Rogue would make? But despite the cool sorcerer features odds are that De'kra will become an assassin, as one, they look so cool; two, rangers were my second choice for a character, and three; the clothes for an assassin might be easier for me to obtain than the color garb of a sorcerer. Quote
Masked Builder Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Hmmm....Those look nice Sandy! Still no signs of the class I'm going to try out first though. Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Waterbrick in our quest when the werewolf archer shot everyone, he only does 2 damage to each person, so shouldn't my shield have stopped that? Thanks, you are right. I will adjust the stats accordingly. Cool combos Sandy, I can't wait to see the whole set. Quote

I hope you do realize that you don't have to change a thing about your character avatar, even when you reach the advanced classes? Those pictures are there just for flavor. Quote
Rumble Strike Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Berzerker looks really cool! I was originally thinking of the already-revealed Shaman (Barbarian/Cleric) for Tarn, but perhaps Barbarian/Knight would also work! Quote

Sandy Posted October 26, 2011 Author Posted October 26, 2011 Jebediahs, I'm wondering how you came to the conclusion that Tesni caused 70 damage against the Goblin Engineer in our battle. I got 68, you see, which is very close in any case. Tesni's basic attack is 18, and the extra critical hit adds double the amount of WP to it, and since the enemy was weak to darkness, the damage caused is doubled. So the equation is 18 + 8 + 8 = 34 * 2 = 68. I know the maths can be a bit tough sometimes (and the numbers aren't going to get any smaller), but I'm trying to avoid future mistakes here. Quote
CMP Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 I think Sandy said a Cleric/Rogue was a Witch. I'm excited. Surely the next batch of quests will procure a few advanced classes. Quote
Professor Flitwick Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 I think Sandy said a Cleric/Rogue was a Witch. No, I believe that is a Necromancer. The Mage/Rogue hybrid was to be a Warlock/Witch, but Sandy, as shown bellow, changed to Sorcerer to avoid gender segregation. I remember changing it because I didn't want both a Warlock and a Witch into the fray. Besides, the name Sorcerer fits well with the abilities the class has. Quote
Quarryman Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Figured this belonged here rather than as an OOC post in the quest: Seeing as our Party leader has become Petrified and is unable to do anything for the rest of the battle, should he still post the battle order? Quote
Brickdoctor Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 If you guys wish to wait to heal me that is fine. I'll just lay here on the ground looking at my mirror image...... You're Knocked Out. They can't revive you during the battle without Phoenix Essence. Quote

I would assume that the battle order would stay the same, since we haven't nominated a second leader and Skrall can't really do anything to change it. Edited October 26, 2011 by Waterbrick Down Quote
Sandy Posted October 26, 2011 Author Posted October 26, 2011 No, I believe that is a Necromancer. The Mage/Rogue hybrid was to be a Warlock/Witch, but Sandy, as shown bellow, changed to Sorcerer to avoid gender segregation. CallMePie is right, the Rogue/Cleric mix is a Witch - and yes, both genders will be called that. But because Warlocks are commonly thought to be male witches, I didn't want to include them as a separate class. I'm thinking of reserving Necromancer as an Expert Job, though, although the details for those are still under work. Quote
Masked Builder Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 I would assume that the battle order would stay the same, since we haven't nominated a second leader and Skrall can't really do anything to change it. Yeah that's what we'll do for this one. Quote
Sandy Posted October 26, 2011 Author Posted October 26, 2011 The other man pushes the stack of Gold towards you. You gain 5 Gold. Seriously, Brickdoctor? You went all that trouble to create that amazing deck of cards and incorporating the card game into your quest, just to give the party 5 gold?! Quote
Masked Builder Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Hey Sandy (and Brickdoctor too), since Doc went through all of that trouble making the cards, could we play it in the Hall? There doesn't have to be money involved... Quote
ADHO15 Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Seriously, Brickdoctor? You went all that trouble to create that amazing deck of cards and incorporating the card game into your quest, just to give the party 5 gold?! I did assume that with only two players, I'd only get double my money. Shame I didn't have more to bet in the first place! Very nicely made game though, Brickdoctor! It was pretty fun, though a game that incorporates more of the other party members might have been better to keep them from getting bored over the last few days. Quote
