But what would Fury be doing in a Spidey vs. Ock set? :sceptic: It's not very often that he works with Spidey.

Maybe it'll be one of those rare occasions that they do work together!

Oh my mistake, but, to me, that one counts as the Triangular one.

Thats unusual seeing as that suit had a roundc hest thing and was worn a while before he changed to the triangle chest suit.

I'll say, Iron Man has grown on me. I can't wait for April!

I'm with you. Seeing the pictures posted of him on the previous page, doesn't look that bad at all. I think it's going to be fine once we all see what he looks like in person. Like with Batman, his mask is a bit bigger than it should be, but looks good.

I don't see why Fury can't be in the Spider-man set. There wasn't really a good reason for Riddler to be in the funhouse.

I know right! It's the only set he can come in right now! I do agree Riddler in that set feels kinda forced. Riddler rarely teamed up with other villains because he believed he was smarter than them.

Not liking the amount of repeats we getting, 2x thor, 2x iron man, 3x loki! and like what some have said already sets are not exactly mind blowing. Figured if you are on a budget best way to get most mini-figures is pick up Quinjet, Avenging, Chopper and BL Hulk and whoever else you want

True, but he is still a Bat-villain. Fury is more an Avengers character than anything, so why put him in one of two sets of the whole wave where he would be random? :sceptic:

I don't mind the Iron Men since they're different suits. Thor and Hawkeye are good for parts and only appear twice, so I don't really mind those either. Loki is indeed quite annoying, but it makes sense with him being the main villain and all.

I have some CG lego superheroes if someone is interested

they're on youtube i've done several

haha someone answer or i cant post the link yet

Brand new members cannot post links. It's a measure designed to cut down on spam.

If you have custom Superheroes or movies of Lego superheroes, start a discussion thread in the appropriate forum for it. This thread is for discussing the actual Lego sets. Thank you. :classic:

I've updated the first post of this thread with the new pictures. I spoilered the ComicCon ones since we have these better pics now.

Oh ye Hawkeye turns up in 2 sets as well, personally can't afford to spend too much on this line like most people, got to leave some reserve for LotR and SW summer sets oh and Modular TH and a train set for my little town, oh argggh

Now that I have seen better pictures, I am not as interested in these sets as I was before. Especially not if the math on these sets matches the math on the DC sets when it comes to Australian pricing.

The sets look like a lot of fun, both for the initial build and expansion! I'd love to buy the Hulk set, the big SW Malevolence ship, use bricks from my collection, and try to build my own SHIELD helicarrier - with all the great LOTR sets, I probably will have to wait until the Malevolence is on sale.

If I could, I'd buy all the Marvel sets, but I think I'll go with the ones I need to get the all minifigures:

*Cap's Avenging Cycle

*Hulk's Helicarrier Breakout (the space invaders decal will be nice for any Lego City video game consoles, or arcade MOCs)

*Wolverine's Chopper Showdown

*Quinjet Aerial Battle.

I agree with everyone's guess that Furry will come in the Spider-Man set.

True, but he is still a Bat-villain. Fury is more an Avengers character than anything, so why put him in one of two sets of the whole wave where he would be random?

It might have something to do with the new Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon coming out - since we know Lego has the comic rights, which probably includes the ultimate universe, it would be legally possible.

Disney's licensing division might have put a little pressure on Lego to find a way to tie the set into the new cartoon. Including a Sam Jackson Furry figure would fit because he is in this trailer for the show:

Show's release date (US) is April 1st on Disney XD.

I was reading a Spiderman comic yesterday in a shop (I forgot the name of it, derp) and at one point Spiderman was approached by the 3 main Avengers and indeed Nick Fury, so it's possible we'll see Fury in a Spidey set, but improbable as I don't think LEGO want to base their sets off the comics.

EDIT:Though that Ultimate Spiderman trailer surely reinforces the point that Fury will be in the Spidey set!

Spidey's an Avenger, that's why! His parents were tied in with SHIELD! And the set is supposed to be based on the comics!

Am I the only one who's noticed that Iron man's hand jets are the LotR ring piece in trans-blue?

I think they're trans blue studs, as you can see in the Quinjet set.

Yeah I am going to guess (in the film) his newer suit got damaged/stolen or whatever and he has to wear his old one.

Actually, the suit with the round chest RT shown in the newest trailer looks to be a completely new suit. It looks like it has some sort of jetpack on the back. There are some screen caps here.

Iron Man had 3 different armors in each movie. In the first Iron Man film, he had the original Mark I, the silver Mark II prototype (that was stolen and turned into War Machine), the Mark III that was damaged in the final battle.

In Iron Man 2, he started with the Mark IV, an upgraded version of the Mark II, then had the Mark V suitcase armor (probably destroyed by Whiplash), and finally the Mark VI with the triangular chest piece.

These toy images show he'll make a new suit for the Avengers.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Fury in the Spider-Man set. After all, the Ultimate (Sam Jackson) version of Fury appeared frequently in the Ultimate Spider-man comics, and looks like he'll be the new TV show as well.

This post shows two different suits and two different hand jets too, so you are both right.

The hand jets did look like trans-blue "The one ring"s to me on the jeep set, but I figured since they were just studs in the Quinjet it probably is the same for the jeep set. Though a trans-blue "One Ring" would be very cool (Especially for Tron MOCs )

Excuse me if I am not too familiar with the super heroes, I kind of like the truck and helicopter, for $20 I wouldn't hesitate getting one of these, but not for the european price which is probably going to be $40. I don't care too much about the figures though, still, an Iron man or Wolverine is nice to have! The jet is also pretty cool, I have to admit. Would like to see this in real, not only on a picture, since I assume it's a really cool set. (Many sets are really cool these days and the box shot doesn't do them justice. The Ninjago sail ship for example, seriously - great set in real, boring on picture)
