JackJonespaw Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Looks great! I love the blending of brown and reddish brown, and the door patterns. Great job! Quote
Vindicare Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Another home run! I love the tools used as greebles on the doors. Very cool that it can be situated different ways, too. Looks great either way. Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Great job on the window glass mosaic - the mono-trans-clear tone is simple yet brilliantly beautiful. And I also like the modularity of the two parts of the build. Quote
Ceroknight Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Absolutely beautiful! This reminded me of starting my community build.. Quote
Lord Of The Fries Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Completely stunning! Great work on the door patterns as well Quote

mortesv Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 (edited) Great sense of scale and detail in this one! Your window and doors are beautiful - how does the doors open/close? Edited February 29, 2012 by mortesv Quote
ACPin Posted February 29, 2012 Author Posted February 29, 2012 Looks great! I love the blending of brown and reddish brown, and the door patterns. Great job! I've got both shades stocked together so that stacking was done randomly. Another home run! I love the tools used as greebles on the doors. Very cool that it can be situated different ways, too. Looks great either way. I couldn't find a clear design on these doors unlike the other one with DM so I just made this up. Great job on the window glass mosaic - the mono-trans-clear tone is simple yet brilliantly beautiful. And I also like the modularity of the two parts of the build. Thanks for the blog KD, the top arch was a pain to build as I tried to close the gaps as much as possible. In the movie scenes, the window has only one arch but the largest brick arch could not span the length of the window panes below so I improvised with this design. Also the windows were clear in the movies scenes so I kept it that way. Here's a detailed shot from the exterior. Absolutely beautiful! This reminded me of starting my community build.. You better! Completely stunning! Great work on the door patterns as well See comment above about the doors. Beautiful double level build, great details, love that giant window This shows the versatility of modular builds. so much brown :). It looks really good dude, nice attention to detail. Sure wish I had more in stock. Beautiful. Your MOCs always amaze me with their detail and ingenuity Detail counts! Great sense of scale and detail in this one! Your window and doors are beautiful - how does the doors open/close? There's a gap between the exterior and interior walls where the doors slide to the sides. Why are there 4 commander droids? Only the best BDs guard the palace interior. AC Quote
