IAmWillGibson Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 I was finally going to pull the trigger on the Funhouse set, and Shop.Lego's shopping cart wont load. Is this just me or is the site boned for some reason? Of course, by the time I get a reply, it'll probably be fixed. But I'm impatient! Quote
glenpinpat Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 Does any body know if the 2 TO lego stores Are exactly the same or do they carry different pick-a-bricks? Quote
autobrick Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 Every PaB section is different. If you visit BrickBuildr.com you can check what each store has, but it is maintained by volunteers so may not be completely up to date. Quote
glenpinpat Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 thanks I never new you could check it before you go. I am thinking when LoTr comes out I will head to the Troy, Michigan store as it is closer to me and I will save almost 100.00. Quote
Homer_S Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 I went to both lego stores in TO a month ago, the pic-a-brick were very different, brickbildr was not at all accurate, they are only 30 min apart, just go to both. Quote
glenpinpat Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 Ordered a plate from S@H and some pick a brick stuff. The Pick a brick stuff came from some place in Mississippi and will arrive here today via Fedex. The xl grey plate I ordered is coming via DHL. I am wondering where the plate is coming from as it is being shipped seperate though both were sent to me 15 minutes apart? Quote
legomaniac83 Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 I went to Sherway Gardens tonight to pick up 10197, and also grabbed the new brick separator yay! Also received an April calendar, and a great deal is running on the 10 & 11 - Large PAB cup for the price of a small for VIP members only. You can bet my bricks I'll be there! They had a good selection on the wall as well. I filled up my gift box from Christmas last month, and there are a lot of changes. Happy shopping. Quote

If only the Vancouver LEGO store would be open by then. I have never bought an actual PAB cup, but I did receive a small one free of charge for making a purchase of $75 and more. Unfortunately, I had a friend help me purchase the set and she did not know how to fill a PAB cup correctly so she just threw in some random pieces leaving in a whole lot of space. Quote

sok117 Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 Anyone know if there are any interesting pieces at the Sherway Pick-a-brick, I don't trust Brick-builder all that much. Quote
sok117 Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 Sorry for the double post guys but... Now that the Superhero Marvel sets are cropping up in the States, I'm wondering if anyone has heard any chatter about their release in the north. I'm very anxious to acquire these sets so lets get on lookout! Thanks everyone! Quote

I'm very anxious to acquire these sets so lets get on lookout! Thanks everyone! Well, isn't the release date tomorrow? I'm expecting them to appear sometime tomorrow or next week, and I know my local Wal-Mart got a huge LEGO shipment yesterday, so I'm hopeful and really excited! Quote
IAmWillGibson Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 I was convincing myself I didn't want any of the Marvel Superheroes line... but that Wolverine/Magneto/Deadpool set is calling to me. Loudly. The helicopter might make a much better replacement for the junky thing in the Dino Defense HQ I picked up recently. And Magneto... Magneto. Dreamy. Quote
Ceroknight Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 Saw this on brickset: Celebrate the opening of a brand new LEGO Store in your area with the new, exclusive LEGO Brand Retail Store model! Not available for purchase, this set is only given out to a select number of customers with a qualifying purchase during the Grand Opening Celebration. I'm going to be there, anyone else? Quote
purpleparadox Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 (edited) Saw this on brickset: *pic* I'm going to be there, anyone else? Sorry for my ignorance, but where is this again? Edited April 4, 2012 by Ricecracker Please don't quote images unnecessarily, as per site guidelines. :) Quote

prateek Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 You lucky son of a gun! If the Toronto ones had a model as awesome as that, I would've been first in line! Quote
Legobrandon Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 (edited) You lucky son of a gun! If the Toronto ones had a model as awesome as that, I would've been first in line! Heh, hoping to be the first (or near) in the Vancouver line up. Really don't know how many people will show up or what time people will start camping out. I'll make sure to take some more pics of this set or make a review on it. Edited April 5, 2012 by Legobrandon Quote
dr_spock Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 I think Rochester New York is having an opening. It is closer to Toronto than Vancouver. Quote
