[MOC] Steampunk OG-9 homing spider droid

I've building like crazy for Star Wars Day in Toronto on May the 4th. Here is my latest creation--an OG-9 homing spider droid in steam punk.

The OG-9 is effective against both ground-based and airborne targets and is designed to transport large and devastating cannons and barrels of gunpowder and ammo throughout the battlefield. It has a crow nest for the lookout crew to spot and home into the battlefield targets. The homing spider droid's wooden body contains a volatile steam boiler. If the boiler is breached, the body violently explodes. Ground troops are careful not to stand too close but do appreciate its fire support.

You know, it's creations like this that make people like me want to build steampunk MOCs. Well done--you've captured the steampunk vibe very well---

Very good indeed. Like Simon said, the use of the cannons was a good idea. Personally, I would have liked to see some more pistons and/or pipes, but it's very good as it is. There may not have been any steampunk vehicles in AOTC, but it's close enough for the CB, so I added it to the index. Also, I blogged it a week ago.

I love steampunk, and this is just a great example of it . The cannons, and leg gears are a great touch.
