Wow! I didn't see that tower coming, *huh* but what a fantastic idea it is. Excellent technique too!

I like the slopes sandwiched between the walls.

Your work is amazing, it really is. Everything is so beautiful, and detailed. I can't wait to see when it is finished! I love the cliff design the most I think.

Great to see new progress pictures, maydayartist! Good start on the tower and that archway looks pretty nice. Those trees with more leaves are a nice improvement. I can't wait to see more, very inspirational!

This is a little how to do for the tree trunk.

The first is step by step and the second the trunk devided in six pieces which can be connected in the sequence shown.

Mu-hu-hu-hu-ha-ha-ha-ha! I got about 1,000 of those log pieces off my nearby Lego Store's PAB wall. Now all I need is some more greenery...

I took the time to see every post mayday. I can't wait to see it when its done!

Here is one next step for my castle.

Only the small edge is on studline.

Much work for those little details.

Hope such a detail won't get down when all is done.

We will see.

Enjoy

I love it even more. It is beautiful to see how you adapted the castle to the landscape. The details just make it even better.

Looking fantastic, but I'd like to see it from a different angle to it more from the side and how it looks like that.

Backside is ok?

I have now changed the angle wall from the last picture to a smaller octagonal tower.

The door is functional as always.

This thing is massive! A single building on this is probably larger than my entire parts collection! I love how the octagonal towers are coming along. About how tall do you plan to build the castle? :hmpf: (looking up)

Also, nice use o those new flat round studs. They add a lot to the cobblestone floor. Now I must get some!

That castle shows a lot of promise, keep the excellent work.

This photo looks like one of Lego very own 80s catalog. :classic:

Do I spy a use of the Brickarms u-clip technique to create the vent flaps on the red and white tent, or is it a use of the corner panel technique?

That gives me some ideas. Well then, back to building.

Amazing I must say. I have watched this topic since the begining and look foward to seeing it finished. You have given me a lot of ideas to add to my tiny castle layout. Good luck in completeing this masterpiece.
