Hi everybody! I actually finished my entry on time! This is the Potions Classroom. I tried to capture the essence of how I imagine it based on the books, movies, and games. Now, it's not nearly what I had hoped to build, but I had been counting on stopping in a Lego store while I was in Ontario, and that plan failed. :hmpf_bad: So I made do without all those bricks I was planning to buy, and used my [pitiful collection instead. Despite all that, I had a ton of fun, and it didn't turn out too bad! So have a look, and enjoy!

First here's an overall picture. I did the background in blue because I signed up for the Ravenclaw house (because Ravenclaw's the best. "Wit beyond measure is man's greatest treasure.").

You can see an arched entrance, a barred window letting in murky green light, torches, tables, students, a cauldron, a shelf, and a cabinet.

Here's a close-up of one of the tables:

There's my sigfig in Hogwarts attire chopping some ingredients for a potion. Just pretend it's a Ravenclaw uniform and a Barn Owl instead of a Gryffindor with a Snowy.

A bookbag and directions.

A cabinet with Beedle-knows-what inside. (Spot the reference!)

Annnd, a student stirring up some...uh...glop. Guess somebody's not getting Felix Felicis today!

A shelf full of useful ingredients. Now, I'm not thrilled with any of the pictures I took, but this one is the worst. Sorry 'bout that.

And last but not least, a birds-eye view of the classroom. You can spot an ant and a cat.

Well, even if it's not perfect I was glad to do some building. I hope you liked looking at it as much as I liked making it! Just like always, C&C are welcome. No, encouraged! Thanks for taking a look.

I like all the small details you put in here! You may have had in a limit, but you still made this! I sometimes have a limited brick collection. Keep up the good work!

Thanks! I try to remember, it's not the bricks, but what you do with them. But honestly? I'm sure better selection could at least help.

Ah, yes, the resurrected Community Build! Nice MOC, I really like all of the details you put in here - the atmosphere feels like Snape is lurking in there. Great job!

Thank you! Ah, Snape. Well, who knows what's in that cabinet? Maybe a long-nosed Potions teacher! :tongue:Actually I don't own Snape.

I really like this MOC, great job!

Thank you very much! Means a lot to me that people like it. :sweet:

Nice job! I really like the use of the seaweed piece. :classic:

Thank you! When you don't have a lot of pieces, you've gotta make every one count. :sweet:

Great MOC 'purpleparadox.' This looks great for only having a limited brick selection. I too had the same problem at one time, but I'm sure yours will grow overtime.

Thanks! I'm sure it'll be big soon. It's already expanded at least 1000 pieces since I got back into Lego.
