A (hopefully) quick question about catagory 1 (vehicles), can you include setting for you're vehicle? For example, if you were to do a train, could you put the train on a railroad? Or a highway with a bus? Thanks.

Yes of course, as long as the emphasis is on the vehicle rather than the base/setting.

That MOC is great! Why haven't you posted it here in the Eurobricks Town forum for everyone to see? :sing:

Unfortunately, because it's already been on flickr (since January, I see) it's not a valid entry, according to the rules:

I think I posted it somewhere in Star Wars, and it is somehow in Eurobricks Star Wars Forum Blog .....

Anyway, I know the rules and I love to build MOAR !! My first ENTRY for 3A is posted in Action forum !

I posted a Catagory 3B entry (an amusment park) in the Town Forum, without realizing that for it to be valid it had to be posted in the relevant other forum (I figured that an amusement park should go either in Special LEGO Themes or Town, and I didn't understand that other meant that town was excluded). Is it possible to move my entry to another Forum (maybe Special LEGO Themes)? Thanks! :classic: (Here it is. I also asked this in the Amusment Park thread, hopefully you can understand that I'm a bit anxious to be sure it qualifies!)

I've moved it, and it will still be eligible. :classic:

As of this writing, we have about 24 hrs to post our entries, correct?

Correct!

-ish. We're in BST right now, so midnight GMT is actually just under 25 hours from your post. :look:

Ok folks, as of this post I have a record of all the (fantastic! ) entries in the various categories in the Summer of Friends Building Contest!

Any entry posted later than this post will not, I'm afraid, be valid and thus won't be considered.

There will be details about voting appearing soon, but in the meantime I would like to heartily congratulate everyone who has entered; I've been looking at the entries and although I've abstained from commenting, I've been overwhelmed by the standard of entries. They've been posted far and wide around EB, not just here in Town, so have a good look around and see if there are any you've missed. There will be a full list available when voting opens, though. :sweet:

I don't think you can't actually give someone 5 points - the maximum you can give is 3 points.

In the interests of fairness Maybe Pandora can amend this to ensure that Oky doesn't miss out on the 3 points he deserves for his snazzy work!

I don't think you are allowed to edit your own voting post Legogal or it's not counted.

I don't want to interupt the voting but I did want to reply to this; I've gotten a vote or two in catagory 3A in a non-elegible format [and none in an elegible format. . .]. :hmpf_bad: (Besides, I don't think Oky really needs those three points  ) I am guessing the 5 point vote Hammerstein NWC was referring to probably won't count anyway though.
