September 29, 201212 yr I'm going to have to get a bunch of these to make a nice long train! Looks awesome! And a fairly good price too for a nice looking set!
September 29, 201212 yr It is certainly one of the most beautiful sets ever made, I cannot comprend the most elegant, fantastic and awesome LEGO set ever! At last an offical look a like to the TGV colouring I love the most, the Sud-Est. Please don't talk to me as I drown in its beauty. (I am so sorry for the excitment.....) September 29, 201212 yr Fantastic news for train fans. This is an absolute must buy for me. The standard of Lego trains in recent times has been superb with the Emerald Night and the Maersk, and this high speed train just continues the quality. I love the colour scheme, I love the design, frankly I love everything about this and can't wait till January for its release. I think its also important to mention the price, £80 for 1,351 pieces is an absolute bargain. The price of new sets often raises eyebrows due to the steep cost, its nice for once to be surprised at just how cheap this set is.
September 29, 201212 yr Ahh, the facebook link explains everything! WUNDERBARRRR!!!! Best TLG train ever
September 29, 201212 yr wow, certainly crushes any rumours that the Train theme is dead in Lego's eyes! And 6 minifigs with a lego set costing £80, this must is a rarity now days! Nice Orange train bases, great parts Paul Edited September 29, 201212 yr by paul_delahaye
September 29, 201212 yr Woaaaa! Nice looking train, the french TGV is now turned officially in LEGO! And in it's nice orange color! That remind me when I was a child, my mother, who works at the SNCF (the french train company) has shown us it in real, it was very impressive! I had to wait some years to take it, making Paris-Marseille in only 3 houres, and the driver saying after 30 minutes "our train is on its hightspeed, 300km/h". It was fantastic! Nostalgia aside, TLC has made a very nice looking train, and I think tha lot of people will probably buy two copies of this set to have a complete TGV. It will be my case! They have put some nice details inside and outside, like the two white arrow (in place of TGV letters), with cheese slopes. Great work, you have made my day TLC!
September 29, 201212 yr I suppose that most of us will get at least two of these, to have the end carriage matching the front. I hope they won't raise (too much) the price, cf what they did with the haunted house between the announcement and the start of sales.
September 29, 201212 yr This is certainly a dream come true! I LOVE IT! I can't wait to have it for Christmas. Should be out just before that anyway. LEGO is finally listening to its fans I suppose, as this has been on many AFOL wishlists for ages. Brilliant and GREAT Move LEGO!
September 29, 201212 yr Brilliant and really looks the part Have always liked the Yellow TGV La Poste as here
September 29, 201212 yr Yay! I can't wait to discover side ways building! Maybe we could create a new abbreviation so we can recognise it, I dunno. Something like SNOT (Studs Not On Top) or something... Is it new that they describe the gender of minifigs in the minifig list? Well, apart from that, this is awesome news, down there with TLC's best trains sets.
September 29, 201212 yr Wow; Nice! Have to buy two to make a somewhat reasonable looking train, but I'm in! probably will buy the usual five Great surprise though wander whats coming next week???? Loaded all the HR images up on Brickshelf but still needs to clear! Can take ages these days.............
September 29, 201212 yr Wow, very nice! I don't visit Train forum very often so I found this on Facebook... Creator! Quite a surprise!
September 29, 201212 yr Excellent this new train!Looks like a real Thalys / TGV. Hopefully extra powerfunctions to create extra speed!

September 29, 201212 yr Love it, the running coffee machine joke appears in this set great interior as well. I'm wondering if we might see this set on display at the Steam UK exhibition next week? Someone had the Castle jousting set which came out 1st Jan 2012 on display there last year so there is some hope. Paul
September 29, 201212 yr Its beautiful. I was surprised when I saw creator associated with it. I will be buying at least two.
