BearHeart Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 The pics are a little small but from what I can make out it looks like a great set, I particularly like the color scheme. Quote
BryanKinkel Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 Wow! These sets are starting to really pile up. I have the Ultimate Train Builder's box on my birthday list. And I would love the Cafe Corner and this new modular house as well. But it is starting to get a bit pricey! -- Bryan Quote
Athos Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 Looks stupendous! Great color scheme and everything! Steve Quote
simonwillems Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 Looks promising in this small pictures, I too like the colorscheme but is that a new sort of blue or just the regular tone? Expensive nonetheless.... *y* Quote
phoinix Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 oh my!! this looks SO good! need big big big pictures now!! lego says this is a new theme so maby there are more and more to come!! thank you Eric Brok from the Netherlands for this lovely set! Quote
Mr Hobbles Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 Yes yes yes yes yes! I've been waiting for this, more buildings to add onto Cafe Corner! One question I have though is why this is in the Factory range rather than Creator like Cafe Corner. This also cant be the building that the designer of Cafe Corner was talking about that was coming soon, as it's not made by him. But I digress. I could care less. More modular buildings! More more more! Also bigger pictures and a price. Nice find legomilk! :-) *y* Quote

I suspect because it is designed by a LEGO enthusist rather than an official LEGO employee. Factory = fan designed Everything else = LEGO designers Of course, I may be totally wrong. -- Bryan Quote
Athos Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 What is the blue colour of the house? I think the announcement said Medium Blue... whatever blue that is... The Harry Potter car maybe? Steve Quote
Sir Dillon Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 From what I can see, this looks lovely. *wub* The color scheme is great. Quote
MatthewUSA Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 Thank you for the new images. I totally *wub* these new modular building sets. They are exactly what the "Town" theme has been needing for quite a long time. I can't wait to see the full images on S@H plus price and piece quantity. THESE SETS ROCK!! Quote
alex54 Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 I think the announcement said Medium Blue... whatever blue that is... The Harry Potter car maybe?Steve I think it is. it's the same medium blue than in the caf Quote

Brick Miner Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 i'll have to wait for larger pics (can't tell anything from those little shots), but this looks far less impressive than the CC... unless there are some unique pieces i don't think i will buy this one, unless to MOC a CC expansion with it. but i don't even have a CC yet !!! -------------------------------------------------- one thing i can say is that im glad they are included some more unique colors in the "factory" line, than was in that hobby train... which i think didn't come together well at all. - BrickMiner Quote

Sure it doesn't look as impressive, but it's still a very nice building. Personally I'm quite happy to see that not all sets in the modular building line will be Quote

Mr Hobbles Posted May 4, 2007 Posted May 4, 2007 A fair point! It's true that smaller sets often have more charm than their larger bretheren, you just need to look at 6665, which is one of my favourite sets ever. :-) I love the look of this house however. I can't wait for larger pictures! I really hope it's no more than Quote
gylman Posted May 4, 2007 Posted May 4, 2007 On closer inspection of the tiny pictures we have, I am not as enthused about this one as about CC. However, this is unavoidable if the part count is much less, and I agree that not every set in this series needs to cost $200 Canadian. These sets are infinitely customizable, so we can always mod them to suit our tastes. Just imagine, though, a number of the great AFOL builders using Lego Factory to make other extensions to the CC series. That's essentially what we have here. We can see the constructions online, and buy the parts for the sets we want. The potential is incredible! Quote
legomilk Posted May 4, 2007 Author Posted May 4, 2007 More info. This set is from june 2007 and 1248 bricks .price 89,99 euro. Quote
