Thanks C3POwen, I most certainly will use them. Expect another update on Monday.

As promised, the Hoth Wampa Cave has been updated...and looks MUCH better. Thanks again, Owen.

@Walter Kovacs

Surely much better now!

One suggestion: if you used an unofficial part, you could include in your entry a link to download a zip containing the extra part and a txt file with the instruction on how to use it.

Hehe, thank you.

Well, they won't win desing competition for sure, but they are good for testing the rendering in blender.

Although posted previously, this version contains the stand, the wings and the fuselage don't overlap, and the correct colour greys have been used.

Yep, the previous one is by Widetent. A few weeks ago, I discovered too that his models often use the wrong grey color and often don't include a stand (if the set has one). I wanted to fix these, but I haven't found the time yet... :sceptic:

8128 - Cad Bane's Speeder - Star Wars

cad_banes_speeder.png

Cad Bane's Speeder.mpd

Errors:

Cad Bane has the wrong Head print

Cad Bane's rebreather is wrong. I used the firefighter air hose instead.

The Senate Commando has the wrong helmet.

The Senate Commando Commander has the wrong helmet and wrong Torso print.

Alama has the wrong Head print and the wrong Torso print.

All Stickers are missing.

I'm beginning to see why the Star Wars sets have so many gaps. I couldn't even find a Phase I Clone Trooper helmet in LDraw. It's not like the plain trooper is in 11 sets, plus at least a dozen more with the different prints (Commanders, Rex, Gunner, etc.). Not to mention all the missing Head prints. It makes it difficult to put the minifigs into the models. .

8129 - AT-AT Walker - Star Wars

AT-AT.mpd

Errors:

First, the ubiquitous missing stickers

Head prints on General Veers, Han Solo, Luke Skywalker and the Hoth REbel Trooper are incorrect.

Torso prints on the Snowtroopers, General Veers, the AT-AT Pilot and Han Solo are incorrect.

The AT-AT Pilot and Hoth Rebel Trooper are wearing the wrong Helmets.

I don't believe the Head print, Torso print or Headpiece/Hair is correct for any of the minifigs

I was wondering; why is the rubber band not in your render, but it is in the file itself?

When I was initially building it, I wasn't sure if I wanted to bother with LSynth, so just used MLCad's rubber belt generator to create a round rubber band and placed it loose in the model.

I then decided to change it to LSynth after posting, and then later re-rendered the relevant section with the LSynth band in it, which is what should be showing now.
