May 4, 201410 yr Creator 10220 Volkswagen T1 Campingbus Errors: Regarding the motor I have not inserted a technic bush (4265) due to the fact that 4185 (Technic Wedge Belt Wheel) and 42610 (Wheel 11 x 8 mm) would not have been coplanar. Wheels have to be coplanar for generating a rubber belt. Main model built with SR 3D. Tubings generated by MLCad/LSynth. Rubber band (V-belt) generated with Philo’s Rubber Belt Generator. L3B-File download here. Regarding the rendering: Model transferred to Povray by LDView. Stickers (VW sign, number plates,..) and curtains generated directly by Pov-Ray. Please find some more renders here.

I think your point is that regarding the rendering above it is not obvious that there are headlights? Right? So please have a very close look to the high resolution renderings here. You will see the headlights there. But I agree to you: Due to my settings the transparent parts are very, very transparent.
May 5, 201410 yr Author Yes... You're transparant is... very transparant, like invisible. Nice renders though

May 7, 201410 yr @Palathadric, @lego2lego (btw I personaly own every single one of your classic space sets and some more so I can check it just by eye and can tell you that your renders are absolutely realistic from what I see here, namely the most #6980 and #6930, I almost fell on the ground when I first saw them here, how did you achieve such accuracy??? they are so real), @juraj & @Darats: guys your renders are probably the most realistic I ever saw, really...great great great work done!!!!! Oh, and guys can you tell, how did you achieve the visual effect of visible parts connections? You know those "lines" you see in the places where bricks are connected...cos when I render my set out I always have one solid block/piece not visible separate bricks as it should in reality be which is pretty unpleasant of course. Any suggestions/solutions to this? Also does anybody know how to have lego-on-studs...I mean the word "LEGO" on them as in real sets? + yea and also that "grainy look" of the sloped ports...gee, really...how can one do such real render, I mean...oh,,I am breathles, splendid work! I wish to answer your questions but I don't want to "pollute" this thread. Maybe your question can be moved (by an admin) to the relevant forum (rendering LDraw with Povray) and I will be glad to offer you some advice,

On 5/7/2014 at 3:41 PM, bublible said: Oh, and guys can you tell, how did you achieve the visual effect of visible parts connections? I'm beveling every corner of the parts, so you can see this kind of "separation" in between them. On 5/7/2014 at 3:41 PM, bublible said: Also does anybody know how to have lego-on-studs...I mean the word "LEGO" on them as in real sets? I'm using the LGEO library which can give you the possibility to replace standard ldraw stud by marked ones. I'm creating a LGEO parts to replace the ldraw part for rendering, I can then, choose to modify every surface of a part to a grainy one if I want.
