New creator sets are now up at the building instructions site:

7796 House

7797 Bi-Plane

7798 Stegosaurus

7799 Cargo Chopper

I love that the house is a mini version of 4996. Nice dark green 'cheese' pieces and teeth on the steggie as well!

To be honest, these look too small to be 'regular' creator sets like Mini Trains or Mini Vehicles etc (limited steps, no alternate models). Are these supposed to be in something like an impulse line?

Many tks for your great find svelte_corps ;-)

I dislike those minis as models but they are off course great as parts pack.

Its weird that they decided to go for mini versions of existing sets like the house and cargo chopper

Seems 2008 is the year of the minis humm which doesn't really excite me that much

Hm... Seeing as all the creator minis this year are mini replicas of actual sets, do you suppose the Bi-Plane will be a big set, too, or is it just something to make it an even number of minis?

I hope there will be a full size Bi-Plane, that would be awesome. :sweet:

I think I'm the only one here that's happy TLC's finally making the Droid Gunship, even at the expense of losing the TIE Defender. I love the Gunship's design, personally. I've never been too enthralled with TLC's blue and black TIE cubes, esp when they made faceted pieces for the Divers sets years ago that would approximate a spherical shape much better than the blocky TIEs we 've been getting.

On that note, there are some parts which I wish TLC would bring out of retirement b/c they were just really useful parts. The upper and lower faceted corner pieces from the Divers sets were excellent and made me think of TIEs way back before TLC was producing Star Wars sets.
