Xela's shocked expression echoed the rest of the crew's. 'What?' He exclaimed.

"MacK does have a point though" muttered Mendis, under his breath. "The Seperatists know we have escaped - they'll be monitoring the skies like hawks, we need a distraction."

"But what?" Enquired Zues. "Something big...important...''

"Is a Federation core ship big and important enough?" smirked Garviel, "I've been on Utapau monitoring a core ship, before all of you came."

"Turn left here" he told Oky, "i have some important business to take care of first,"

A few minutes later they arrived at Garviel's hideout. It was a small outcove in a Utapau sinkhole overlooking the coreship. various crates of supplies lied scattered around, a few of them empty and some of them loaded with weapons and supplies. A small transmitter connecting to a computer.

"Make youselves at home" muttered Garviel as he walked towards the computer, "Theres weapons and ammo in the crates, stock up on them, we'll need them."

"I have a bad feeling about this..." MacK breathed as he handed a blaster over to Oky wan. "We've only just met him and now we're going to blow up a coreship."

"I know what you mean, it could be a trap..."Oky replied, glancing over at Loken who was on the computer, typing frantically, "I'm willing to give him the denefit of the doubt though but if --"

Suddenly Oky pulled something out of his pocket, in his hand he held a small black tube, perhaps three inches long. His swift, dextrous fingers turned it on, and a small holographic figure appeared. It was very blurry and very disorted.

"OKY.... " The hologram began shouted, but it came out more like a desperate gasp. " CAPTURED ANNIX and ThoK.....FOUND..... LOCcatION OF THE....REQUIRES ..TRIHEXATHALON.. CRYSTALS. .. Down to PlaNNets .EXTREME.... HOTH.... FaR..... LiKEly....ChoseN OF TyranNus and General *tzzt*"

The hologram cut off, and everyone looked confused

"That was Jim!" Oky said "He's in trouble somewhere we have to - Garviel, are you ok?" he said looking over at Garviel Loken, - he was shaking, a stricken look upon his face.

"Thats not possible..." Garviel muttered, rocking back and forth, barely aware he was speaking. Ignoring Oky's question and in fact ignoring everyone else there he wittered on, seemingly oblivious... "It was disbanded several years ago, I.. I was there... I killed her myself."

EDIT:

It seems i have ignored the "comic" bit of the star wars comic game, but i've build a Trade fedoration corridor for the game, and i'll update my previous posts with the pictures when i get around to it

Also Brickbreaker has been banned, so what are we going to do with his character? kill him off? keep him in the group?

I just lost my post :\ so i have to redo it

Is mendis and zeus NPCs?

i'll add something here so i can do my flashback

"Garviel, " Xela questioned "Who is this she you keep talking about and what is the Chosen of Tyrannus?"

"well," Garviel began "A few years before the Clone Wars broke out, the Seperatist leaders went to several planets to spread rebellion among the civilian population. One of these planets, Mentacore, was visited by Dooku himself, because the entire population was force insensitive, well apa-"

"Force Insensitive?" MacK inquired "what does that mean? Is it even possible"

"Yes it is but its very rare, most people have some connection to the force, be it jedi levels or just just a small connection, these people from Mentacore have no connection to the force" explained Oky, "My boss at the droid factory was one, it annoys the jedi being around "untouchables" as they call them, it diminishes their force powers." He smiled after looking at the astonished faces looking at him knowing what a force insensitive person was. "Continue Garviel"

"Ok, thanks for the insight Yoda" Garviel smirked, "where was i ... oh yes apart from one girl, Bequin her name was, she was the only Mentacorian in 200 years to be born force sensitive, the jedi never came to take her to the temple because the untouchables had blocked her force sensitivity from the jedi"

"It drove her mad didn't it?" Mendis whisper "being a force user on a planet of none, is sthat why Dooku took an interest in the planet?"

"Yeh, it did" Garviel sighed, "Without the jedi training, her force powers just became uncontrollable,"

Mentacore 2 years ago

Mentacore was a very rainy planet. Garviel didn't like rain alot; he was stuck on mentacore involuntarily - the money he left Chandrilla with only got him this far. Oh, but the amount of credits he would get helping to put down a cult would get him to Couscant with a bit extra remaining. He had been sent to infiltrate and signal the authorities at the right moment so they could take it down. The cult clothes he was force to wear were ill fitting and by now soaking wet, after a few moments he reached the meeting area, a small abandoned pub protected by 2 armed guards

"Password?" The guard muttered

Loken repeated the password given to him by the sergent of the strike force, and the guards weapons were lowered and allowed him to pass, he walked over to the main hall, 30 members of the cult were sat on the floor watching and chanting to a young woman, the woman was speaking, but was inaudable over the shouts of the crowd.

As Garviel sat down, the woman made eye contact with him. and began to speak "A hero will fall, in his place a man of black, dark times are rising only to end when a metal moon destroyed above forests." Confused Garviel sat down, and waited.

After a few minutes, more cultists had joined the group and Garviel began to feel uneasy. he felt for the comlink and pressed the button to call for back up, he then pulled his blaster pistol. from his robes and sighed.

A few moments later several armed warriors ran into the room blasters cutting down cultist with every shot, Panic ensued as Cultist ran, while some tried to kill the attackers, with only a few being succesful, killing a marine. Garviel ran towards cover and began firing potshots at cultists threatening the marines managing to kill 3. After a few minutes the entire hall was silent as all the cultists were dead, only the woman remained. The Sergent raised his rifle aimed it at the woman and fired, only to be thrown across the room and slammed into the wall. The force of the impact crushed his armour and he fell down dead.

The rest of his squad, shocked by the death of their leader began to fire at her, however the bolts never reached her, she disintegrated the shots with a wave of her hand. She then stood up and walked towards the exit, casually flinging at a Marine closest to her with the force, blaster bolts roared from the squads guns but she continued to walk foward unharmed. Two more died as she almost reached the exit.

Before she reached the exit, she felt 2 shots rip through her heart. as if waking up from a trance she looked around and saw smoke rising for Garviel's trembling gun. She smiled at him and then collapsed, dead before she touched the ground

"Nice shot Garviel," muttered one of the surviving marines "Ever though about join-" He never finished his sentance as the womans body began to jerk and spasm around, white light erupted from her eyes and 2 more men died as the beam cut through them, she began to float up and looked over at Garviel cowering near a bench, they both made eye contact and she smiled.

"What happened next?" MacK inquired

"I can't remember, i closed my eyes and must have blacked out because the next thing i remember was waking up at a Courscant spaceport, i checked the records of the incident and it was a confirmed kill and the cult was dispanded, the report said it was just a final death spasm, with people with untaimed force energy like that. but i dunno, someone that powerful wouldn't die like that, that easily"

"so what now" Xela inquired, eager to change the subject,

"We have a core ship to destroy" Oky smiled and everyone began to walk to the speeder.

I don't know what "NPCs" are, but Mendis and Zues are characters that brickbreaker and I made up and who don't represent any players in this game, if that's what you mean. Therefore, it will be quite alright if they die together with Xela during our upcoming mission.

How did you loose your post btw? Did you accidentally delete all of it? In that case, you can just right-click the text box and select "undo" the next time this happens.

I'm back!

[butcher stared out through the cell shield at the wall as water dripped through the ceiling. We must be underground somewherehe thought. All he could remember before being put in the cell was talking to the CIS bounty hunter, bieng hit with the butt of a gun, and blacking out. Annix and Thok must be in different cells, because they weren't with him. Neither were his weapons. It was a miracle that he was alive. The CIS must need him for something, if not to interrogate him, otherwise he would have been dead. Suddenly, a door at the end of the hall opened, and the person who was behind it almost made Butcher's heart stop. It was General Grievous himself.

"Hello there, commander." He said in a bored voice. "I see your 'mission' has gone astray. Not much of a mission, I must admit. Where are your friends, the Jedi? Has anyone even heard about thi-"

"What are you planning?" Butcher interrupted. "What was the incident on Coruscant all about? Why take to hiding on this planet? Why am I still alive? Where is my team? What are you even doing here that it is so important?"

"First, you are not in the position to be asking questions, now are you? And second, all of those questions will be answered in due time, but for now, I can tell you that they haven't killed you yet because we will be using you for a little... experiment", the General said with an evil grin. Butcher could only glare as the fiend left the hall...

YAY! Jim's back! I hope you could catch up, you missed quite a lot.

Interesting new post! Some other players and I had agreed, though, that we shouldn't involve Dooku since he knows about Palpatine's master plan of using the clones later on to bring the Sith to power and, therefore, it wouldn't make sense for him to travel through time to eliminate the clone army. :sceptic: We thought that the mind behind the time travel project should be some other seperatist leader who doesn't know about the Sith's plan and authorized this operation without the knowlege of the Sith. But since you're the leader of this fantastic game, it's up to you of course!

Ah, I didn't realize that... In that case, make it General Grievous... then we could say that he was assigned to this by the emporer as assurance that the general was really a leader, and to lie to him about the real plan to destroy the republic. Only Dooku and Sidious know about the real plan, and all of the other separatists are deceived and take the time machine seriously, so it is a threat to the republic. And thanks for the warm welcome! :sweet:

Well, I don't know about the part that I underlined... It would make more sense if the Sith didn't know about this at all IMO. :sceptic: But it would definately be OK if Grievous were behind it, so go ahead and edit your post so that it is him instead of Dooku.

hi all, i was interested in joining sometime! my character's going to be a treasure hunter called Glade, i've got a good idea of how he's gonna fit in, but so you can prepare:

johnny danger hat

han solo face

(any) johnny danger shirt

same arms that go with above

yellow hands

the brown han solo pants with the gun holster

two daggers/knives

so...yeah tell when (and if) i can join! i'll ruin my entrance for you guys now; he digs his way through those mines (with those jewels according to the pic) you know, the tunnel that you all went through through the pit after the shark dude. yeah,Glade thought those were valuable and ends up in a hell of a lot of trouble!

Thok paced his cell thinking, thinking...

"There must be a reason we've been put in these cells!" He exclaimed, "I wish I just knew WHAT that reason was. Where are my men?" The last sentence he roared at a passing guard, who just glared at him and moved on.

Thok resignedly sat back against the cell. He hated being a PoW.

Thok collected his jaw off the floor. "What the....why...what's he doing here? This makes no sense. There must be something more going on here...maybe a secret droid factory!"

Who are you talking about? :sceptic: If it's Grievous, then you got something wrong; you must have missed this part:

Annix and Thok must be in different cells, because they weren't with him.

"Okay so how are we going to destroy the core ship" MacK asked Garviel. "Hmm... I was planning on using grenades, or something, but I'm sure that those mining explosives you found will work better" replied Garviel. "If we can get inside the ship we could probably find the fuel tanks and station the explosives on them that would probably be enough to blow the ship, eh". "I see that should work said" Oky Wan as he was fiddling around with a blaster pistol. "The hard part is just getting inside the core ship, once we're in it should be easy from there". Said Garviel while gazing at the not so distant core ship. "Actually that shouldn't be so hard there appears to be many mechanics and workers around the ship they probably won't be able to tell us apart from any other workers down there just as long as we look the same." MacK said.

"Well where will we get any uniforms from?" said Xela "I doubt that they'll just give us some." "I'm sure we'll be able to "borrow" a few uniforms from workers down there." MacK calmly said as he winked a few times. "Okay so what are we waiting for" said Oky Wan we need to destroy the ship as soon as possible.

"Yeah, but we got two problems first we'll need to hide the explosives somewhere and second how are we going to get into the physicality I pretty sure there are security check points?" asked Oky Wan whom was defiantly questioning the plan. "Don't worry I got it all figured out, MacK could you pass me those boxes that have supplies in them over there?" garviel said pointing to a small pile of crates. "Sure" MacK said as he started passing over the crates. As MacK did so Garviel was busying himself removing all the tools in them and replacing them with as much mining explosives as he could cram in the crates. When he had finished there were three smaller crates that could be carried by a man.

"Okay so that just leaves the question of how are we going to get into the area with the core ship" said MacK. "Oh that's easy said Garviel as he walked over to a corner ofthe room they were in and moved away a few crates revealing a tunnel that undoubtedly lead down to a secret entrance near the core ship.”Genius" MacK said after a few seconds "Did you build this asked" Xela. "Nope, This was already here I just needed to refine it a bit making it a bit bigger and bursting through the surface near the core ship".

"Everyone grab a blaster, comlink and three of you grab the explosives we're going in" Garviel said before disappearing into the cave.

Prieviously on The Star Wars Comic Game:

Butcher to Thok: So I saw that little silver disc you took out, a tracking device?

Thok to Butcher: Yep, I'm sending the coordinates to Oky Wan's comm link.

"Wait!" Oky Wan called out to Garviel. "What is it now?" asked Garviel out of the tunnel, a little annoyed by Oky Wan's questions. "Jim said that he and the others got captured" Oky Wan explained. "They need help, and we can't leave them behind. I received coordinates of their location shortly prior to his message. One or two of us should go and free him." "Hm... You're right," said Garviel, "but who's going to do it?" "I will." said Oky Wan. "But I will need backup. How about you, Mack, do you want to accompany me?" "Alright" said Mack. "That's settled then" said Garviel. "Once you hear the explosion, come to your ship as quick as possible. I'll set my comlink to the frequency of yours so that we can stay in touch. Now, let's go, men!"

He went back into the tunnel and the orange clothed men followed him with tool crates full of explosives under their arms. Mack and Oky Wan grabed some weapons, left the hideout, and loaded them onto the stolen speeder that was parked outside. Oky Wan fed the coordinates into the navigation system of the speeder and started to drive toward that location. After a while, Oky Wan said "We should be close now. It's better if we go on on foot." They got off and walked for a little until they got to a bunker-like building. They crouched down behind some rocks to observe the situation. The door of the bunker was guarded by battle droids. "That's it alright" said Mack, "but how are we gonna get in?" Before Oky Wan could answer, the door of the bunker opened and, to their surprise, it was General Grievous who came out of it.

2761509259_bbe874f0a2_b.jpg

Grievous turned around to the droid commander by the door and spoke to him in his menacing voice: "This place is crawling with Republic scum. Our operation is no longer safe on this planet. Tell the engineers to pack up the time machine. We are moving to Hoth."

2761511079_b49c464afb_b.jpg

He turned away again and marched over to his Belbullab-22 starfighter, the Soulless One, which was on the landing platform nearby.

2762359460_f43a03d09a_b.jpg

He got in and took off. Meanwhile, the droids left to pass on the orders they had just recieved.

2762361376_eb989ed3fa_b.jpg

After Grievous' ship had left the sinkhole, Oky Wan said: "Damn! We are too late to get to the machine, but at least we know where they're going with it. Let's get Jim and the others and get out of here!" They ran over to the door and entered.

2761516653_37958b07d4_b.jpg

They went through a hallway with several doors until they got to a room with nothing but a table and some chairs. "The coordinates point to this room but I can't see Jim anywhere" said Oky Wan. Mack thought hard while Oky Wan looded around the room on one of the walls, he could see the small silver disk that either Jim or one of the others must have placed there to help Oky Wan find them. What caught his eyes next was the table. It had a couple of weapons laid out on it. Oky Wan recognized one of them as Jim's nailgun. "These are the weapons of Jim and his companions," he told Mack, "we should take them with us." "You know, I think I know where they could be" said Mack. "Remember how bad the reception of that message was? Maybe it was because they were underground!" "Hey, you're right," said Oky Wan, "you're a genius!" Instantly, they started searching the floor, and sure enough, they soon found the handle for a trap door. They opened it and climbed down the stairs that were behind it, with Jim, Thok, and Annix' weapons in their arms. They now found themselves in dark hallway where at the end there was a cell, and inside that cell there was... "Jim!" exclaimed Oky Wan and ran toward his friend. "Oky Wan! There you are! Took you long enough. Where were you?" said Jim with a grin. "Long story" said Oky Wan. "Jim, I want you to meet Mack; he is a Republic lieutnant who wants to help us in our mission. Where are Annix and Thok?" "I don't know. We have been seperated because General Grievous, who I suspect to be behind all this, wanted to do some kind of experiment with me." "Hm, that's odd. Oh well, let's get you out of here and then let's find the others" said Oky Wan and started tinkling around with the control panel of the prison cell...

I'm going to start posting in regular context now, instead of the TIE army style.

"Alright, let's find Annix and Thok", Butcher said to the two rescuers.

"We need to get to Hoth ASAP, they are moving their project there", said MacK.

"Damn... Alright, lets find them quickly. WHy do I feel as though we've picked up other teammates besides MacK?", Butcher asked.

"Oh yeah, we have to meet up with some other people that are helping us", Oky replied.

Butcher rolled his eyes and continued searching the basement for his allies.

What do you mean by that? :look: What is the TIE army style, and what is it that you want to do differently?

Does this mean that you will only post a couple of sentences that add very little to the story like you just did? :sceptic:

And does it mean that you have completely taken the comic aspect out of this game now? :cry_sad:

It's sad, but I think we have to accept that this experiment has failed. :sadnew:

Butcher to Thok: Thok, do you read me?

But like this:

"Thok, do you read me?" Butcher yelled into the comm link.

Don't worry, the Comic Game lives.
