The group found me on Hoth, and I explained a bit about a serum and the time machine. Then, we saved Easy 501, hopped in a Gunship, and are heading towards MacK's frigate. The AT-AT is from the future. That was the "cosmic disturbance" I mentioned earlier.

Jim immediately shut down Wouwie's suggestion. "Pfft! Getting backup?! Backup is for wusses, and I'm no coward!" Wouwie shrinked back, but the others came up to his defense. "Come on," Oky Wan said, "at least we could get refitted. My jetpack was busted after the fall." Numerous other reasons were given, and eventually, Jim gave in. "Alright, we'll go to Rex's ship first. But NO backup, and that's final!" He turned to Adam. "So, tell us everything." Adam frowned, and, after some quick thought, began:

"I'm agent 2734, or Adam, for the RSS's DCU (Deception and Commando Unit). No, I am not a clone; each agent is given a tag number, and that's mine. In short, we believe that the CIS is creating a mutant army because the mutant's DNA structure is the only living tissue that can pass through the time machine. Since the humanoid members of the CIS officials wish to lead the attack, the serum was necissary. The "cosmic disturbance" was the appearence of the large AT-AT. When it came from is unkown. I was sent to Hoth to do more research, and had myself captured by the CIS. We know that the time machine is working, and the CIS is almost ready to send some people through. The operation is lead by someone one step below a Sith lord, named Vargeen. "Darth" Vargeen is a skilled jedi, who fights with two identical red lightsabers. This is all we know about him, other than the fact that he has a strange chemical composition. His species is unknown. This, added to what I told you before, is all we know. After reporting to my officals earlier, they ordered that I assist your mission in locating the time machine and stopping the CIS from ever using it."

How's that? Everyone OK with it?

Hmm, bringing another Sith into the SW universe is a little big... let's just stick with Grievous, alright? By the way, my character isn't that stupid, I just don't want to get backup because their's not enough time. Okay, rearm and resuit in the ship, then all of us are going into MacK's shuttle, while the clones go in the RGS. :classic:

I'm sorry to say this but I will be quiting the Starwars Comic Game, I've been rather busy lately, and honestly cannot find time to take pic's upload them and add them to the story. Right now I'm barely able to browse Eurobricks, I've got some MOCs that I want to post as well so I need to find some time to post them. I hope that I still will see you guys elsewhere on Eurobricks with no hard feelings :classic: . Feel free to kill off my charecter whenever you want, hopefully with a bang  . Sorry :sceptic: .

Aw, it's a shame to have you leave MacK... :cry_sad: You'll die with glory...

Also, let's kill off Vader's son, he hasn't posted here in months.

Actually... No. :sceptic: It's the last part that bothers me. I've said it before and I'll say it again: There are no other "Darths" than Sidious and Tyranus during the Clone Wars! The Rule of Two forbids it. All the other lightsaber wielding bad guys are no Sith, just servants of Dooku with training in lightsaber fighting. You could change your post so that it says that Vargeen is such a servant, but there are two problems with that. One is that we agreed that neither Dooku or Palpatine know about this project because they would never approve of changing the past since that would mess with their master plan of bringing the Sith to power. That's why we said that Grievous is leading this project in secret. Therefore, it is out of question that Vargeen is a servant of Dooku. Besides, we (Simonjedi to be exact) already introduced such a servant (the one called Beqin). So, I would suggest that you take that part out of your post all yogether. :sceptic: Sorry.

I actually agree with Jim about not loosing anymore time. We lost so much already. I mean, geez, each one of us almost died got healed at least once since the beginning of this chapter! But, yeah, let's stock up little quick and get to MacK's ship.

He actually isn't a "Darth", he just refers to himself as one because he want's to be one. But fine, let's just do everything that YOU wanna do! Post being edited.

Yes, it's said to loose you, MacK. But as Jim said: You'll die with glory... and grenades!

Yay! Let the killing spree begin!

It's actually pretty said. :sceptic: I have the feeling only 4-5 people are still playing this game, including me. Perhaps we should grant Jammiedodger714 early entrance into the game? :look:

"Oh, and one more thing:" Adam added, "Questionings of other CIS members have shown that Grievous and his minions seem to be the only separatists who know about all this. We don't know why, but we believe that the Droid General is keeping this organization a secret from his leader, Count Dooku." "Hm... interesting" said Jim. "I don't see why he would do that either, but that's not so important right now anyway. What we have to do now is find the machine as quick as possible!" "Yes," said Oky Wan, "but there is one more thing I would like to know. Those mutants... You said they are made of mushrooms and humans. Who are the humans they are mutating?"

Very informative post! If no one objects, I will answer Oky Wan's question in my next post, and then MacK will die in a selfless act of glory and grenades.

Very informative post!

Are you being sarcastic? :hmpf_bad:

Of course it's not, but I just wanted to bring the whole The-Sith-don't-know-about-all-this thing officially into the story and ask my question. :sadnew:

And of course I am not objecting. In fact, I want you to answer my question!

Also, if I may criticize you once more  , I would like to ask you to not quote long posts like that. Only quote when you are referring to a certain statement or part of a post, like I did above. This way, you can keep your posts much smaller.

Looking forward to your post.

I wasn't being sarcastic, I was giving you plaudits on the depth you added to the story. Am I that mean? :cry_sad: Also, I'll do as you requested. Now, MacK is kept. Also, I'm in favor of people being able to join. And where exactly ARE we going, Jim? Or do I make that up?

Hold on, folks, let's keep MacK for a bit. At least until we find the machine. Also, I think another amendment to the rules is necessary. I don't want to go ahead with this unless you guys want to, but I'm thinking of letting anyone join at any time. All in favor?

If this does come to be true, should we let them take over any non-player character (that's not a major one), such as Jaimedodger714 taking over Rex? Or should they make their own entrance?

"Alright, has everyone gotten what they need?" Butcher asked the group. "Okay, captain, land over there by the frigate. Easy 501, I suggest you come with us. The rest of your troops should remain as backup. Too many troops are more likely to set off the alarm."

"So, where is this place, exactly?" asked MacK.

"That's what Adam is going reveal..." Jim replied. "Well...?"

Euhm...To make some things clear, Easy 501st is the company, 5th company of the 501st battalion. If you refer to me, that's or Wouwie, or Easy 501-1 (my clone-code)... Capish?

Who thinks we should kill MacK in a "spectacular but there's a chance that he'll come back way"?

Vader's son should be killed in Mack's ship when it gets destroyed by a vulture droid.

It would be really nice of you guys to let me and others join in :cry_happy: , but if you decide not to I don't mind. I enjoy reading this thread anyway. It rocks!

Aye! And we should do it quick, seeing as we are nearing the climax of the story!

If this does come to be true, should we let them take over any non-player character (that's not a major one), such as Jaimedodger714 taking over Rex? Or should they make their own entrance?

I think the new players should be able to decide that for themselves, although introducing a whole new character might stall the story a bit.

Who thinks we should kill MacK in a "spectacular but there's a chance that he'll come back way"?

Vader's son should be killed in Mack's ship when it gets destroyed by a vulture droid.

Well, technically you can always bring back an already killed-off character somehow. Just look at Marvel comic - people die and come back all the time! So, let's just concentrate on making MacK's exit "spectacular". And about vader's_son: Sounds good, but let's see what happens.

I wasn't being sarcastic, I was giving you plaudits on the depth you added to the story. Am I that mean? :cry_sad:

Sorry, Adam, about the sarcasm thing; I posted that when I was kind of in a bad mood. Thanks for giving me plaudits. :classic:

"Yes," said Oky Wan, "but there is one more thing I would like to know. Those mutants... You said they are made of mushrooms and humans. Who are the humans they are mutating?"
"So, where is this place, exactly?" asked MacK.

"That's what Adam is going reveal..." Jim replied. "Well...?"

So, Adam, how about some answers - again?

EDIT: Whoops! :oh: The topic has been moved! Too bad actually since it doesn't feel as much like a SW game anymore amongst all the other wargames and without the dark surroundings of the SW forum, but... I guess it belongs here. And - hey! - it's an "Important Topic" now! :sweet: Great!

This has been moved to the Wargames and Mafia Games forum, and been pinned! Also, since Annix is a prisoner of the CIS, how can he be on MacK's ship? Next post will include photos.

Adam turned to Oky Wan and answered his question first. "Those that they are mutating started with random nobodies, people wihtout real influence that are easy to take. However, more disapearances began to appear within the Republic's ranks. We believe that captured soldiers are tested upon, and by what happened to me, that is probably true. Jim," he said, looking now to Jim, "Where are we going? Before I answer that, let me tell you something that you have no doubt been wondering about." Adam proceded to tear the skin off his arm, revealing a network of machinery. "Very little fluid runs through these tubes, so when I loose blood there, it pretty much fails." Jim let Adam continue, but he wondered, How did he lose his arm? "Now, to where we are going. Our location is a hidden base on Felucia, the planet with strange vegetation." Loken made a quick mind jump and said, "So we're going there to fix your arm and... because of the strange foliage..." Adam nodded. "My superiors believe that the mushroom part of the serum comes from Felucia."

How is everyone with this? How do you spell "Felucia"?

Aye! default_thumbup.gif And we should do it quick, seeing as we are nearing the climax of the story!

I'm not sure, we still have to time machine to destroy as well as the time jumping aspect of it, and of course the mutant mushroom people .

Okay, guys. perhaps a hiatus is necessary. It is school and most of us need to work, not play (no matter how much we want to. ) I am not dropping out of the game; however, if we continue, feel free to drag me along. I'm just...momentarily overwhelmed.

EDIT: What, the story might end? What about a magical mystery tour into the future?

Oops! Forgot about that. Good point. Maybe we'll meet that bounty hunter who kidnapped him again, and maybe Annix will sacrifice himself to save us from an attack by the bounty hunter or something... As I said: we'll see.

Well, I'm sorry to be the one to nag again, Adam, but that wasn't what we wanted to hear. :sceptic: What we wanted to know is where the research facility is located at that you escaped from. Besides: Another planet change?! :hmpf: Idk...

Felucia is spelled correctly, though.

"No!" said Jim determinedly. "No more detours! We have lost enough time already and we still have unfinished business here. You have a vile of the serum, right, Adam? Then it should be no problem to analyze it. Therefore, we don't need to examine the mushrooms. And about your arm: Let Oky Wan take a look at it. He specializes in robotics." The RGS landed in front of the white freighter that was guarded by Skipper and Jones. The doors slid open and the group jumped out. As they walked over to the ship, Mack asked: "So... what is your plan then?" "Well, first of all we need to check out the crash landed core ship." said Jim. "Something tells me we will find some clues there. If we don't, we will take a look at that facility Adam escaped from." They had reached the freighter and got inside. While MacK got into the cockpit and started to prepare the take-off, the others took their seats in the passenger department. After they were all set, Oky Wan suggested: "Maybe we should split up. That way we could examine both locations at once. I would volunteer to go to the core ship. What do you think?

''Well, before we split up, I want to send a message to Coruscant..Can I use the radio on this ship MacK?''

''Sure, go ahead, it's in the room to the left.''

''Okay''

''Republic Command, this is Easy 501-1. I have left the base at Hoth with some troops and some other people witch responded to our distress call. Most of the troops are dead or missing.''

''Copy that Wouwie. Anything else?''

''Yes..But first I need to close the door, not everybody needs to hear this.''

Ooooh...Secrets

ARGH!! Maybe you guys could of told me that!!! I had asked before, but no one answered!

While Wouwie was gone, Adam took the perfect opportunity. He disappeared.

HOLD ON, guys, don't get too ahead of yourself. The chapter barely started, so we aren't going anywhere yet. Leave the planet changing to me. Also, if you guys want to kill off Annix (vaders son) go ahead, but I got MacK. Also, feel free to kill off DS as well, he hasn't posted on EB at all in some time.

And now Adam's gone missing... what a disaster!

Unfortunately, this has been moved to the Wargames thread (where it will get considerably less attention), but KimT was nice enough to pin it! :sweet:

"I'll join Oky to check out the coreship" Garviel sighed "I have.. unfinished business to take care of"

Oky and MacK noticed a glum change in his mood, they had forgotten about the escape from utapau.

"come on Jim" Oky called over to Jim, "We'll take the gunship. It'll be quicker that way"

ARGH!! Maybe you guys could of told me that!!! I had asked before, but no one answered!

What are you talking about? :look: I thought I answered everything for you. :cry_sad:

"I think I'll stay with MacK and Thok" said Jim "But you two go ahead and take the gunship." Oky Wan and Garviel wished the others farewell and returned to the gunship. There, Commander Rex welcomed them back. "It should be easy finding the ship," said Oky Wan, "it left a trail of smoke when it entered the atmosphere. Commander, tell the pilot to head for the source of the smoke." "Yes, Sir," replied Rex and did as he was told.

Back at the freighter, Jim turned around to Adam's seat and said: "So, Adam, where is this facility exact..." But Adam was gone.

Jim turned around once more to see Adam standing right there. "Where were you?" He exclaimed. Adam rolled his eyes. "Am I allowed to go to the bathroom without Mommy-Jim holding my hand?" Jim frowned and said, "You don't have to get smart with me! Now, where's the facility?!" Adam sighed. "I'm sorry I offended you, m'lord. :hmpf: The facility is about 208km south of here, then another 100 east. Not far. I believe it's in Sector... 12?" Jim checked the computer. "Yup," he said. "Let's go!"

Lolz.

Rex, Garviel, and Oky Wan were following the trail of smoke that arose from behind a snowy mountain for a while without running into any trouble. Finally, they reached the mountain and flew over its top. On the other side, they could see the crashed core ship sticking out of the side of the mountain. It was still burning at some spots and looked even worse than before. But to Oky Wan's and Garviel's surprise it seemed deserted. There was no droid or separatist in sight. "Maybe they already got the machine out and transported it to a safe location" suggested Oky Wan. "I guess so," replied Garviel, "We did waste enough time for them to get away. Still, we might find some clues in there and maybe even your captured friend, Annix." And so they asked the pilot to drop them off next to the core ship wreck. The RGS lowered itself until it was safe for them to jump and Oky Wan, Garviel, Commander Rex, and some of the troops got out. "Circle around the area and watch out for any enemies," ordered Rex the clones in the gunchip, "We will stay in contact with you." "Yes, Sir" replied the pilot and flew off.

The group entered the heavily damaged core ship. It was dark and smelled like burned metal in there, but at some places, daylight shone in from holes and cracks in the walls and ceiling. An eerie silence lied in the air. No one spoke and the only thing they heard was their own footsteps. After a while of searching through the empty corridors of the ship, they still hadn't found anything that could have helped them. Frustrated, Oky Wan siad: "Alright, I think we wont find much here. Let's return to the gunship and try to find Jim and the others. Maybe they need our help. Call them back, commander." "Yes, Sir" said Rex and called the pilot over his comlink. But he didn't recieve any answer. No matter how often he tried, the only thing returned was static. "We lost contact with the gunship, Sir" he told Garviel. "I have a bad feeling about this" said Garviel grimly. "Everyone, get out of here! Now!" They ran toward the big hole in the hull that they had come through, but before they could reach it, a large figure jumped down in front of them and cut off their way out. It was the bounty hunter Oky Wan and the others had encountered in the bunker back on Utapau. A whole bunch of droids came out from their hiding places and surrounded them. It was now obvious that they had run straight into a trap. "You ignorant fools," the bounty hunter started mocking them, "I don't know how you got out of that bunker alive, but now I have you right where I want you!"

:oh3:

Btw, are going to let Jammiedodger join or what? If so, we should contact him about that.

Btw, are going to let Jammiedodger join or what? If so, we should contact him about that.

Yes, he can join if he wants.

"Oky Wan, come in. Oky Wan? Garviel? Rex!?" Butcher was trying to contact the team, but no one was answering. "Damn, no response".

"There must be something wrong..." implied MacK.

"Hmm... we should check it out" said Thok.

"No, we have a job to do, and so do they. Contact the Gunship" said Butcher.

"Alright" said Wouwie. "Wouwie to Gunship, come in, over".

"Yes, sir?" a clone's voice came in over the comm.

"Has Rex contacted you yet?"

"No, sir, no one has".

Wouwie looked at Butcher, and he nodded.

"Okay, go check out the core ship. They might be in trouble. Leave some of your troops there, and bring the rest to the base, coordinates 208 S, 100 E km, Sector 12. We'll meet you there" Wouwie commanded.

"Yes, sir".

Wouwie turned the comm link off.

"Alright, we should get going" he said.

"Okay, MacK, make sure that cloaking device is on. When we get there, Adam and I are going to slip in a way that he will show me." Butcher explained.

"What if I refuse?" said Adam,

"Then you can stay here and die" Jim replied. "I don't care how top-secret this is, we need to help the Republic".

"What about us?" asked Thok.

"You guys stay in the ship until we give you the okay, and then go through the back. We'll meet you there. And avoid raising the alarm at all costs. We can't afford to use explosives, either. We need the time machine plans and evidence of these mutants. Security is going to be tight, so take out anything in your path quickly and quietly. If you guys have any suggestions on a better plan, please speak up now".

Nobody answered.

"Okay, let's go."
