Zarkan Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 Actually, that doesn't worry me - since the list is incomplete. Legomilk said months ago that there would be far more than just three castle sets. Besides, with a TV show coming out next year, and a possible second game, I can't see why Lego wouldn't make more sets. So I'm not worried at all. Quote

Agreed, plus the castle sets could just be impulses while the real meat comes out later. Everyone still needs to calm down and realise it is a list for the first half of the year. Batbrick Away! Still the summer Bionicles were on there, and we haven't had word on SpacepoliceIII likely meaning a summer release. Also the three castles sets, were called actual Castles as backed up by a Statement from awhile ago. Quote
Brainbox Posted September 7, 2008 Posted September 7, 2008 Yes I guess it was, but I mean a total exclusive the likes of Cafe Corner, but as a giant Wayne Manor. It'd also get lots of new figs that way. That would be pretty sweet, I have to agree. And they'd likely be exclusive figs as well, at least initially. Give us either Aunt Harriet from the series, or Bruce's Aunt Agatha. Actually, that doesn't worry me - since the list is incomplete. Legomilk said months ago that there would be far more than just three castle sets. Because the previous Castle releases were later than January, it's very likely next year's will be as well. But like this year, there may well be a couple of impulses like BB suggested to whet the whistle, so to speak. Besides, with a TV show coming out next year, and a possible second game, I can't see why Lego wouldn't make more sets. So I'm not worried at all. Well exactly. They might make some strange decisions sometimes, but I doubt they'd be that stupid. Everyone still needs to calm down and realise it is a list for the first half of the year. Try this: "For the love of God, calm down! The list we saw was incomplete. Whether or not it was a first-half release list, it wasn't finished. It is very likely there will be more Batman sets in 2009. We don't know for sure, but neither do we know there won't be. Please, calm down." Quote
Manta Posted September 7, 2008 Posted September 7, 2008 Agreed. Here is my awesome list of mfs:Goodguys: Batman - Black Batman Begins suit Batman - Classic Dark Grey Suit Batman - Techno Suit (Batman Beyond style) Batman - Armour Suit (no cape and heavy armour printing) Gordon Bullock Montoya Barbara Gordon Batgirl Oracle Tim Drake Dick Grayson Lucius Fox Re released goodguys: Alfred (in a cheap set) Nightwing Bruce Wayne (in the manor) Rogues: Mad Hatter Clayface Black Mask Ventriloquist Tali Al Ghul Ra's Al Ghul Ubu Clock King Hugo Strange Firefly Hush Manbat Maxie Zeus Deadshot Rogue Re releases: Two-Face Killer Croc Bane Poison Ivy Catwoman Harley Quinn And a few more perhaps Batbrick Away! My fig wish list basically. Quote

Give us either Aunt Harriet from the series, or Bruce's Aunt Agatha. Or we could have more useful figs like an Adam West styled Batman and Robin! Seriously tough, if a Wayne Manor was made huge with exclusive figs, I'd like these ones: Bruce Wayne, Batman (new suit), Dick Grayson, Tim Drake, Alfred, Ra' Al Ghul, Tali Al Ghul, Ubu, league of assassin guy or two, and maybe Lucius Fox and Barbara Gordon. Because the previous Castle releases were later than January, it's very likely next year's will be as well. But like this year, there may well be a couple of impulses like BB suggested to whet the whistle, so to speak. If only they would "whet the whistle" with Batman so to speak, with special henchman and Gotham Cops.... Well exactly. They might make some strange decisions sometimes, but I doubt they'd be that stupid. Good point, they are selling well over here too, how are they over there? Oh, wait "For the love of God, calm down! The list we saw was incomplete. Whether or not it was a first-half release list, it wasn't finished. It is very likely there will be more Batman sets in 2009. We don't know for sure, but neither do we know there won't be. Please, calm down." Exactly! But you need to say "Frak" in there somewhere: "Could everyone just calm the frak down!" My fig wish list basically. Thanks, I'll update it soon. Batbrick Away! Quote
Manta Posted September 7, 2008 Posted September 7, 2008 I really want to see a clayface the most though. Quote
Justin Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 I would like to see a Lego Set with the Chris O'Donnell brown-haired black-masked version of Robin/Dick Grayson, similar to his appearance in the 1995 movie Batman Forever and the 1997 sequel Batman & Robin. I also would to see the red-haired Jim Carrey version of the Riddler from Batman Forever in a 2009 Lego set. I would also like to see a Batmobile based on the 1966 TV series' Lincoln Futura convertible design. I would also like to see the Stephanie Brown version of Robin appear in a 2009 Batman Lego set. Capn Frank Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 I really want to see a clayface the most though. Do you mean this clayface Quote
Brainbox Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 Or we could have more useful figs like an Adam West styled Batman and Robin! As long as Bruce comes with a cravat. And they could include a couple of spare costumes for Adam/Bruce to wear- artist gear, etc. Good point, they are selling well over here too, how are they over there? Oh, wait I would also like to see a Batmobile based on the 1966 TV series' Lincoln Futura convertible design. Oh that would be lovely. As long as it comes with the Batzooka that is. Quote
Batbrick Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 As long as Bruce comes with a cravat. And they could include a couple of spare costumes for Adam/Bruce to wear- artist gear, etc. That'd be great, but personally i'd rather have modern comics characters in a Wayne Manor set, and have the Adam West stuff with the 60's Batmobile! Don't worry, I think I'm getting Agents soon Oh that would be lovely. As long as it comes with the Batzooka that is. What a ridiculous notion, why hasn't it been done yet TLC? Also, updating my list here: Goodguys: Batman - Black Batman Begins suit Batman - Classic Dark Grey Suit Batman - Techno Suit (Batman Beyond style) Batman - Armour Suit (no cape and heavy armour printing) Batman - Black Classic Suit (Not B89) Gordon Bullock Montoya Barbara Gordon Batgirl Oracle Tim Drake Dick Grayson Lucius Fox Harvey Dent (Not Scarred) Ace - The Bat dog Re released goodguys: Alfred (in a cheap set) Nightwing Bruce Wayne (in the manor) Rogues: Mad Hatter Clayface Black Mask Ventriloquist Tali Al Ghul Ra's Al Ghul Ubu League of Assassins member Clock King Hugo Strange Firefly Hush Manbat Maxie Zeus Deadshot Killer Moth Lady Shiva Rogue Re releases: Two-Face Killer Croc Bane Poison Ivy Catwoman Harley Quinn Movie characters: Nolan Joker Nolan Scarecrow (In straitjacket) Nolan Two-Face Rachel Dawes Updated Characters: Green Ivy Classic Suit Riddler Monster Killer Croc Long Halloween Two-Face Red/Black Robin Bruce Wayne - New Suit Quote
hollisbrick Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 I really want to have the joker in a cheap set! I really want one of those figs Also Another two face with the same face but different hair. Quote
Green Ghost Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 Nice list Batbrick! It would be cool to get a green Poison Ivy! And she needs new hair, I don't like the current Quote

If anything, it should be regular red, but I'm happy to stick with the original. Quote
VBBN Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 I would also like to see a Batmobile based on the 1966 TV series' Lincoln Futura convertible design. I agree 100%. Best. Batmobile. Almost Ever. I would also like to see more of two-face. Quote
hollisbrick Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 I agree 100%. Best. Batmobile. Almost Ever. I would also like to see more of two-face. I think there will be because of the dark knight Quote
Batbrick Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 Please give us a 60s Batmobile! Please! In a normal set as well as a giant Ultimate Collectors Edition! Complete with Batphone! It's actually pretty accurate. If anything, it should be regular red, but I'm happy to stick with the original. I like the dark red, adds a bit more diversity and a bit more "unnatural" sense to her. I agree 100%. Best. Batmobile. Almost Ever. Please don't say the tumbler wins, it is great sure but so overrated. I would also like to see more of two-face. Who doesn't? He is the best Batman villain ever! Batbrick Away! Quote
Green Ghost Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 (edited) It's actually pretty accurate. If anything, it should be regular red, but I'm happy to stick with the original. The color is good, but I don't like the hair-piece, because it is so staight back. I don't know, it doesn't fit the character very well...it should be more wild and more in her face and so... But I don't know which female hair-pieces there are, but I think the one from Indiana Jones Marion would do it... Edited September 14, 2008 by Green Ghost Quote
Brainbox Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 In a normal set as well as a giant Ultimate Collectors Edition! Complete with Batphone! And a selection of other assorted extras. A net trampoline in the boot, the Batscope, the Bat-radarscope tracker, a Bat-tering ram in the front, the Emergency Bat-turn Lever and the Bat-ray. I like the dark red, adds a bit more diversity and a bit more "unnatural" sense to her. Oh, no I like it, it's great. I just meant that regular red is what we see more often in the comics. But the dark red looks great. The color is good, but I don't like the hair-piece, because it is so staight back. Oh, I see. I guess there's the old Hermione hairpiece as well, that looks a bit unkempt. Quote

I guess there's the old Hermione hairpiece as well, that looks a bit unkempt. It does, I've tried it, doesn't really work. Batbrick Away! Quote
Brainbox Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 Batzooka too? Way ahead of you. I believe I've mentioned it already. Ah I see, it would be cool to get a Tim Sale style Poison Ivy though. That way, if anyone goes near her I can tell them to "leaf" her alone. It does, I've tried it, doesn't really work. Oh, okay. See, that's where I went wrong. But like I said, I'm quite happy to stick with what we already have. Quote
Jippon Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 I'd like to see a Poison Ivy hideout set. A set that has both The Joker an Harley Quinn would be cool, with a hideout or a vehicle that fits them both. A large scale model of the Tumbler is something that I would defenetly buy, if it's detailed enough. Maybe Hugo Strange or Mad Hatter.. or the Riddler WITH! bowler hat. Quote
Oky Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 How about some Batman Beyond sets? Would be cool to have the flying Batmobile and an old Bruce Wayne. Seriously though, there's only one thing I'd really like to see next year: a cheaper way of getting Harley Quinn. Yes, I know, $30 aren't a lot, but still too much just to get a fig. A Harley Quinn keychain would be great! I guess there's the old Hermione hairpiece as well, that looks a bit unkempt. Yes, that's the one TLG should have used! And IMO, it should be orange. It's orange in BTAS. Quote

It could be a Arnold Wesker minifig with a new mold for Scarface - a miniature minifig of some sort with a hole in its back and a little handle bar on the inside, so that he the ventriloquist can hold it in his hand. Also, it would be great to get the Gordon fig from the game somehow. And yes, it would be nice to get a new, cheaper set with Ivy! Edited September 17, 2008 by Oky Wan Kenobi Quote
