[Lt. Col. Thok]

Thok looked at Oky's pale face, noting the the stuttering and finger pointing behind him. He took off his helmet for a moment, wiped his forehead and sighed.

Thok: Whatever it is, it's behind me, isn't it?

Oky nodded. Thok, unslung his gun, unbuckled the safety, and whipped around, finger on the trigger. Over the crest of the nearest hill (it was particularily wide and thick), he noted a single red occular reader common to Homing Spider droids; however, the head was absent of the customary light cannon.

Thok: Either that's a ridiculously small moon with an eye, or that's a deformed Homing Spider Droid.

The droid moved sideways slowly, revealing a hideously large laser cannon, far more powerful than the normal equivalent.

Thok: Ahh, that explains the pale face.

Recalling his conditioning instruction about snow combat (the best lessons come from sleeping, as the saying goes), Thok dived forward and opened fire on the mechanical beast, his companions, following his lead. A click alerted him to the state of his ammunition, so he dived behind a drift and replaced the clip. He looked at the empty clip momentarily, placed a thermal detonator in the empty case and shouted "FIRE IN THE HOLE!". He slide out from behind the drift, fired off a few more shots, and set his helmet noise allowance to zero. The only indication he received of any explosion was a definite rattle (his teeth ached immediately after). Then, after turning the noise allowance to full, he allowed himself a look from behind the drift. All was clear. Thok breathed a sigh of relief, then heard a small groan.

Cliffhanger....I'm not sure I got the setting right, feel free to belittle me. I haven't really had time for big posts, but when I post in the future, it will be to include some interesting montages.

What the heck is up with this Imp? Adam asked himself. He's heading straight towards the base and... protecting us? However, there were more pressing concerns than the rogue trooper- the other Imps were about to attack them; they had been comprimised. "The whole point of this was for recon, not getting our butts kicked!" Garviel cried, diving behind a snowbank. The biker scout swerved aside and Adam rolled behind a large rock as blaster fire sped towards them. "Quick!" Adam yelled, raising his gun. "Look for a weak point!" Garviel and Adam returned fire while the biker jumped around for a second attack. Adam looked for Loken's speeder, and noticed it lying not far away, burning. Soon enough, one AT-ST was down, but there were quite a few more in this wave of troops. They couldn't take them, but both had the pride not to call for backup. It was Garviel that noticed the AT-ST with guns geared towards the biker who had helped them, and called out from instinct. "Look out!" But it was too late- the large walker fired, raining sparks on the scout who landed, with an unpleasent thunk, into a snow bank.

Dammit, Adam, I said let Jim do it! Oh well, funny introduction though.

And what is up with that "impostor"? Where the hell did he come from? I know that you turned into some kind of creature before you woke up in the future, but I never heard anything about an impostor. Did I miss something?

I don't want to criticize you too much, but it would be really nice if you could keep us a little bit more informed about what's going on so that we know how to react to your posts.

@ Jammiedodger714: I think you misunderstood something. You are only supposed to post things in a different color that are not part of the story. All of what you posted above is part of the story and should be in black. And Simonjedi's name in this game is Garviel Loken.

Btw, are those future posts set at the beginning of the Battle of Hoth from Ep. V? Are you guys at the same Hoth base as Luke, Han, Leia, etc.?

Well, I'm not sure where all the "shrooms" came from, considering that we are standing in the snow outside of the research facility. Other than that, it's a fine post. It's nice that you're posting again, Thok!

[Present, CIS Base]

The imposter surveyed the arsenal of ships in the facility's hanger. All were equiped for droids, with the exception of some heavy-duty fighters. None would suit his purpose. He needed something slick and fast... He made his way to the nearby Republic outpost.

[Present, Republic Outpost]

"Hello, chap! How about a spot 'o tea?" The Clone 214, or "two fourteen", was attempting to make conversation with a fellow trooper. It wasn't going well. In fact, the other Clone spun around, startled, and shriekd that he had to go drain the dragon. "Drain the... what? Well, chap, I'm not so sure I know what you're reffering to. So, how 'bout that tea?" Unfortunately, thought, the other Clone had dissapeared. "That's strange..." 214 said to himself. He decided that it was even stranger when a black cloaked man ran in and shot him down, whacking 214 into a wall. After a moment of head shaking, the British Clone looked up to see the figure dashing in the direction of the main hanger. "Well that's just not cricket..."

Oh, yeah- I guess I'm to low level to introduce some Brit-clone into the plot that'll be present for only a few posts. Yeah.

Sorry, but I was bored. Basically, the REAL Adam is in the future while the other half is in the present. You aren't SUPPOSED to understand right now. So it's okay.

Sigh! Seeing as there still seems to be some confusion going around, here is a quick overview of what's going on:

Oky Wan Kenobi, Thok, MacK, and Wouwie are outside the separatist research facility on Hoth in the present time and are about to go inside and help Jim Butcher, who was attacked and knocked out by a dark haired man, the "evil half" of Adam. This impostor is now on the run, looking for a starfighter in the facility's hangar. Meanwhile, Adam's true self is in the rebel base on Hoth in the future, at the beginning of the Battle of Hoth. Together with Garviel Loken (simonjedi), he was roughly told about what has happened since the Clone Wars until this point by the future version of Jim. Now, they're helping the rebels fight the imperial forces attacking the base and are befriending Jammiedodger714 in the process.

Hope everything is clear now. Tell me if I missed something.

They had been defeated- there were far too many Imperials, and, if you counted those able to fight, only two for the Republic. Adam wasn't even sure what the biker was- a man in the middle, he guessed. Either way, they were all dead- wait... Adam looked to his belt and noticed the lightsaber that was attached to it. He had no idea how to use one, but it was his last chance...

Cliffhanger!

Adam turned on the lightsaber and swung it randomly. The scout reched into the snow and pulled out a chaingun.

Scout: I hid it for an emergency. Nice saber. Haven't seen one of those for a long time!

Stormie: What the hell! A lightsaber?!

Adam: Yeah thats right.....ur....you better run before I....use my......

Scout: ...force powers...

Adam: ...force powers on you!

Stormie: Uh oh.

Stormie commander: Retreat! CALL FOR REINFORCEMENTS!!!!

The stormtroopers ran back over the hill, screaming.

Scout: Suckers.

Adam: Thanks for saving me back there.

Scout: No prob.

simonjedi came to a holt next to the dynamic duo and said:

simonjedi: They have several HUGE 4 legged walkers coming this way.

Scout: Get back to the base. We need to get ready.

Adam: For what?

Scout: Those AT-ATs are to much for a small rebel base. We need to retreat.

The scout and Adam hopped onto simon's speeder and headed for the base.....

Warning plot

{Inside the base}

"Garviel, adam, we're charging the time machine up, ready to send you back," jim said. "we've given you modified stormtrooper armour to wear to keep you safe during the travel home"

"Power to stage 1 emmiters in 3 2 1" shouted a technician as the base shook. Jim sighed, they won't be able to take the group back before the empire breaks in "lieutenant, we're going to be over run in a few minutes, Hurry up. "

"We can disable the tracking system but they could end up anywhere" he replied,

"Just do it" Adam shouted as blaster shots were heard outside. then swore as stormtroopers burst into the room,

"JIM " Garviel shouted in horror as jim was shot from blaster fire, and before jim hit the floor Garviel loken has disappeared.

The group teleported on a separatist cruiser with beqin looking over the planet of hoth, hearing the noise she turned and looked at the group that had appeared before her eyes became focused on loken

"YOU" she shouted in anger and use the force and threw Garviel Loken away from the group and at her feet

"GARVIEL" Adam cried out before he and the scout trooper teleported away.

Garviel Loken was thrown again, this time hitting a window. Bequin smiled "No one can help you now." Garviel coughed "My friends will find a way."

"Friends? HA they didn't seem to be, when they tried to stop you saving the time machine" and threw Loken again.

"What are you talking about?" Loken replied struggling to stand up, bits of his armour was damaged.

"Garviel Loken," she sighed "The great Garviel Loken, hero of the separatists" noticing his confused look, she continued.

"With the time machine intact Dooku was free to do what he wanted, defeats turned to victories, as the clone were destroyed earlier in the war on kamino. jedi knights, thorns in the CIS side were wiped from existence. Eventually the republic crumbled, with sidious becoming the ruler and Dooku the head of a sith army on the ruins of the jedi temple."

She sighed again "with the whole galaxy under the CIS, no one was willing to rise up, dooku would be able to destroy the rebellions before it ever started and they did. I was a member of the sith empire when they turned Naboo into a wasteland. I fled and met up with Jim Butcher who sent me back here to stop you, I had the perfect chance to do so before on Utapau, before you damn companion sacrificed himself."

"But now, you're alone, with no one to save you this time" she said drawing her lightsaber.

Loken braced himself for death but it never came. Instead Bequin was thrown away from him with lightning from his fingertips

Bequin look up in horror "Th..That wasn't supposed to happen"

{Outside CIS Facility, Present}

"Oof!" Adam and the scout were thrown back into the Clone Wars- without Loken. Luckily, they crashed right next to a suprised Oky Wan, a shocked MacK, a flustered Thok, and a completely freaked out Wouwie. "What the heck happened?" Oky Wan asked. "And where is Jim? I've been trying to contact you guys for ages!" [Adam tells the others how he was seperated from Jim, what happened when he got to the future, the scout trooper's help, and Garviel being left behind.] "Bequin said something about Loken being the 'Seperatist's hero', but I was teleported back to soon." With a start, Adam realized, among other things, that he didn't know the scout trooper's name. He was about to ask when the biker piped up, "Jammiedodger714, or JD for short." It was then that MacK spotted the lightsaber on Adam's belt. "What the-" Adam cut him off. "I have NO idea."

Jammiedodger714, try not to buddie up with me so much. I'm an independent, and a very independent independent at that. I'll colorize this later, I have work to do.

Ok. I wanted my character to make friends with the other characters, but thats fine. I'll pal up with the others soon if thats ok.

Bequin lay there, staring. Loken felt a strange sensation and force grasped Bequin.

Bequin: GAH!! Don't..*choke* ...kill...*gag*...me!

Loken felt angrier than ever before. He force pushed Bequin into a wall. She fell to the floor gasping for air.

Loken: You will pay for what you did!

Bequin: Please NO!!

Loken zapped her with his lightening and threw her into an escape pod. He activated the launch and as the pod floated into space, Loken held out his hand and clenched his fist. The escape pod exploded.

As JD and simon were transported through time, JD saw something through his helmet visor. What looked like an escape pod...exploding, and that Loken staring at it from a window. JD dismissed it as interfearence.

You can't just travel to the future, you need the time machine, which the CIS have.

We are in the present, but something will happen in the present later in the story that will effect the galaxy. So we go to the seperatist cruiser (not using a time machine, we just wait), just after our other selves go back in time. Its confusing, but we do not use the time machine. Its like the 'Time Splitters Future Perfect' game.

the seperatist crusier is actually during the present day, we all landed there because future jim didn't set the coordinates, so you and oky wouldn't have time to "rescue me"

Adam:.....OH! Right, I knew that....

MacK: Never mind any reproaches, just fix the wound of wound of mine so we can get out of here!

Thok: ? *looks down at MacK's cracked and burnt armour at the blood flowing through* !!!! Jeez, MacK, why didn't you show me!

MacK: Well, with all the teleporting and shooting going on, I didn't have time!

Oky Wan: GUYS! Stay on task!

Thok: You're right, Adam. Here, MacK, I've got a few shots of bacta left in my inocculator...*applies quick, easy and painless shot* Thank god for modern-day miracles of technology!

Wouwie: Excellent, now let's move!

I sense a battle coming! Perhaps we could work me into the future? I have some material ready... perhaps, I could become a Moff (General), but also supply information, weapons ships through to the Rebellion Cold War style?

So something already happened in the present, which changed everything. OK I get it.

This is what I thought could happen: when we are transported to the present, me and the other guy are transported back even further into the past, leaving Loken behind. We then knew were to go to rescue Loken.

I think it makes sense now. Either that or I am missing something.

Just get rid of the post all together. Then nobody will have anything to criticize about it.

"Wait a minute," said Oky Wan, "if you're here, Adam, then Jim is all alone down there! Who knows what trouble he could be in by now! We need to help him out of there first!" "Well... alright" said Thok "Let's get in, get him out of there and try to get to Garviel as quick as we can!" "Good. Let's go," said Oky Wan. "Where is the entrance to the facility?" "Right over there," replied Adam and pointed at the secret hatch, "I'll lead the way."

The six of them entered and followed a hallway for a while. As they walked, Adam thought about what had happened before he traveled into the future. He was sure that, at some point, he'll have to tell the others about his evil half. He lead them around some corners until they were close to the place with the black door. As they turned around the last corner, they were shocked to find Butcher engaged in a fight with what seemed to be General Grievous. What was the most shocking thing was that Butcher was wielding a lightsaber. They had never seen him use one, but there he was, fighting like a pro! However, he didn't seem to be a match for the skill and agility of the Droid General. So, all of them pulled out their blasters and started firing at Grievous. The General turned around, knocking Jim down, and started deflecting the shots with his two lightsabers. After a while, the he seemed to realize that he couldn't keep on blocking all of the shots, so leaped into the corridor next to him and vanished. As the group stopped firing, their eyes fell upon Jim, who was lying on the cold ground. "Jim!" Oky exclaimed. He ran over to his friend and kneeled down to him. He shook him and said: "Jim! Jim, can you hear me? What happened?" Slowly, Butcher regained consciousness. At first, he opened his eyes only a little bit, but as soon as he saw Adam standing in the midst of them, he pulled them wide open. "YOU!" screamed Butcher. He jumped onto his feet and started charging Adam, who took a couple of steps back. He had almost reached Adam when Thok and MacK grabbed his arms and held him back. "No, Jim, what are you doing?! It's just Adam!" "Get him! Stop him!" Butcher cried as he was insane, "That's not Adam! That's an impostor!! He transformed and attacked me!" "What?!" asked Oky Wan confused. But he didn't have time to figure out what Jim was talking about because, in that moment, Butcher pulled himself free and leaped toward Adam. Before Adam could defend himself, Jim had already flung his hands around Adam's neck.

Alright, Adam, either you explain this whole evil-half thing or you die!
