September 23, 200915 yr Thanks for the amazing pics, ForceMaster! I'm loving the new half-arch piece  It's much more suited to Arabic architecture than the curved ones we're so used to.
September 23, 200915 yr The minifigures are great, and the parts are great, but I really can't see this doing well as a LEGO line. The set is basically a bunch of built rocks and some mechanisms along an otherwise empty corridor. Now that I see this set, I really can't see this line replacing Indy. This line is of one new Disney movie, which probably won't even be such a big movie. If this set tells us something about the movie, it's that it is very puzzle and trap based. However, Indy is a vehicle packed well-known series, and LEGO loves vehicles. I am really glad that LEGO got this license because of the parts and figures, just like Speed Racer, but if the other sets are also like this I can't see the line lasting long.
September 23, 200915 yr The set itself could be more aesthetically pleasing, now its main focus in on playability rather than looks. But the individual pieces are great, especially the new hairpieces! I hope they will stay like that for the final product.
September 24, 200915 yr I'm pretty sure I'm going to clean out my bank account on these sets. I absolutely LOVE the new headpieces. Prince Dastan's hair can be put to great use for a rock band fig. And Princess Tamina has provided me with the best hair for my Aladdin Jasmine fig!
September 24, 200915 yr I'm just a little disappointed that they are light flesh instead of just flesh like many of the Indiana Jones figures are, but that's just a tiny detail. Yes, I was hoping for some of the darker fleshies as well, but these do look pretty nice, especially the hairpieces and turbans and suchlike. ForceMaster, what new cream colour do you mean? This is such an odd-looking set. I would never have picked it as an official Lego set. There's just too many dark bley slopes and cheese slopes! They never usually include that much detail. It's as if the factory churned out an extra million parts in that colour and they needed to find a way to get rid of them I'm not really complaining, though! It's a brilliant rockscaping parts pack. I like the use of the 2x2 jumper plates for posing minifigs too - I hate sets where the minifigs are constantly falling over so it's nice that this more versatile piece can be used discreetly for that purpose.
September 24, 200915 yr I'm not that interested in this theme, but all of those traps are instantly recognizable. They are taken straight from the PoP games.
September 24, 200915 yr Thanks for the pics ForceMaster. The theme it self does not come to me at all. Not yet anyway. But there seems to be a lot of nice minifigs, new animals, and other nice pieces. Hopefully some can be transformed over to SW!
September 24, 200915 yr Thanks once again ForceMaster! Man that set is looking more appealing now! I love the dark orange lion heads as well as those wonderful half arch pieces! The trans part with light is fantastic too. But best of all are those wonderful figs, loving the new hairpieces! I don't know what I'll do with them all but I'll be sure to find out! Batbrick Away!
September 24, 200915 yr I hope the movie does well and a sequel is made that way we could hopefully get another elephant and new lion. I'd imagine they could possibly show up in a Prince of Persia movie.
September 24, 200915 yr Wow thanks for the pics. I really like the new head piece. It would look great in white for a Dengar (Star Wars) minifig. The new dagger looks pretty cool and fairly detailed (as daggers go).
September 24, 200915 yr Thanks for the pictures, ForceMaster! I'm not going to rant on about what I like becuse its all been said, I love all of the new moulds and prints. I wonder how that head will look on Indy? That dager looks more like a sword!
September 24, 200915 yr This looks promising. Some great parts, and plenty of building inspiration/ideas for those that will not actually build the sets. I'm pretty sure the Lion heads are the old Dark Orange, as seen in the SandCrawler. That dager looks more like a sword! It does, really...
September 25, 200915 yr You guys might want to look at what I found; more info in the description. Tell me if this piece exists already, because it's nifty. [-TA-]
September 25, 200915 yr You guys might want to look at what I found; more info in the description.Tell me if this piece exists already, because it's nifty. [-TA-] Nice find! It must be this piece that was brought up in a topic about ninjas in the History Themes forum. Now we know what theme it belongs to. And yes, it's a new piece.
September 25, 200915 yr The sword dagger looks like ruber. That's because it's still preliminary, just like the stickered faces and the foam heads on the Atlantis monsters. It will be nice and lovely ABS plastic when we get it, I'm sure of that.
September 25, 200915 yr A very cool and use piece indeed. The sword dagger looks like ruber. Trust me that's the way all ninja swords look like in person, especially the grey ones, besides it's like what Etzel said. It's sad though since this means the back thing is not a possible bringer of a revamped ninja theme.
September 26, 200915 yr Well there's nothing stopping Lego from reusing piece, you know. :P I hope it does come back in a new Ninja Theme in 2011. We've seen Rock Raider, Space and Pirates get a revival; it's time for Ninjas! :3 [-TA-]

September 26, 200915 yr dude... i think Ninjas was a "faction" of the Castle sets.... or Adventurer sets... What the heck does Johnny Thunder have to do with ninjas?!
September 26, 200915 yr I'm not really that inspired by the design... it looks like a half-finished pile of blocks. The hairpieces, though, are awesome. I'm hoping the hair turns up in some city sets, and the turban is worn by Indiana Jones when he's in Egypt.
September 26, 200915 yr dude... i think Ninjas was a "faction" of the Castle sets.... or Adventurer sets... Nope, they had their own line: LINK Although I do believe that there were some oriental/ninja based Adventure sets in the early 2000's. That might be what you're thinking of.
