the Brickmaster exclusives for the AT-TE and Gunship were available to Lego Club members in certain European countries including Ireland the UK. The gunship, set 20010, is now listed as sold out despite the fact I haven't even received my magazine yet advising of the offer. Fortunately I'd acquired a couple of sets thanks to the heads up on Brickset. The AT-TE is still available, but for how much longer?

What ??? Looks like these brickmaster exclusives are more popular than i expected.. Was planning to order from some Euro seller but guess like prices are still going to be high. I suggest others to order the AT-TE now. Looks like its limited quantity. Maybe they might put it on backorder and make more though.

Just a heads up that the gunship 20010 is back up on LS@H (at least in the UK and Ireland). Its listed as 'back orders accepted' for shipment by 11 December.

do we think the prices up on amazon for the new sets are definite ? there are some strange $ / piece ratios

8085 $24.99 177 pieces

8086 $24.99 268 pieces

8087 $49.99 304 pieces

In the past years the idea/notion of piece cost has become somewhat obsolete.

So many small parts are added nowadays as greeble, so it wouldn't be fair.

Personally I think that if such a notion was to be used, you'd have to use a scale and consider the weight of bricks versus price of set.

I performed several searches and found no mentions of this here or at FBTB, but my local Target just got in their promo sets, and among the zillions of 8031 V-19 sets were a few 8028 TIE fighters. Not sure if they were old stock somehow or what, but they're out there.

I read on brickset about a week ago that Target was getting some mini sets for the holidays. I believe in addition to the Torrent and the Tie Fighter they were supposed to carry Grievous' starfighter as well. I'm not sure if this has been posted here before, but if it has they'll just merge this in with the topic I'd imagine.

Hi guys, I have a question. I have looked in TRU, Target, Walmart, and even the Lego store, but none of them has the Republic Gunship, and on Amazon it goes for $180 right now. The only place to get it at the moment seems to be S@H which accepts backorders for February. So do you think this is only because of the holidays or is the set discontinued? It wasn't on Mania3's 2010 Set Discontinuations list, so I'm hopeful, but still nervous because I don't want to miss out on this excellent set. Do you think I should go ahead and order it from S@H?

I was in my local Wal-Mart this Monday morning and there was one Sepratist Shuttle and like 4 of vaders tie fighter, adn that was it, everything else was sold out, I've never seen the shelves so bare. They still had the sign up for the $25 midi falcon but of course they were out. I may try again later thsi week, to see if I can't get a few.

Here goes: I live in belgium and I'm desperate to still find an UCS ISD 10030.

That is verry hard in belgium, especially when your parents don't allow you to buy stuff off of Ebay, etc.

I am however going to America for the holidays ( from the 22nd of december until the 2nd of januari )

I will be staying in Texas, Spring.

Does anyone, just anyone know if there would be a chance of getting an UCS ISD?

No problem. I prefer to use bricklink than Ebay. Less problems, less fees, specialized site, you usually know what you get when you deal with a recommended seller. Honestly over 250 transactions I made over there (selling / buying), I encountered 3 problems, all of which were solved. But you have to carefully check who you're buying from, as always. And ask for a shipping quote before buying if you're in doubt.

I gave you that link to the only Texas seller. I told myself that you might contact him and arrange something like pay-and-pick-at-home if he is close to Spring or Houston. Well, regarding the price, it will be hard for you to find that set at a small price as it is from 2002... Anyway, let us know if you got it in hands

I was in Target yesterday and there were many LEGO sets with a few dollars off here and there, but the Sepratists shuttle was marked down to $19 from $29.99, of course the shelf was empty but I'll be checking back today, and everyday until the sale is over on Saturday.

Unfortunately though I didn't have any money.

Found all the new sets at TRU this afternoon. Battle packs were $12.99, Freco Speeder and droid fighter were $29.99, tie Defender was $54.99 and the Arc was $64.99. I bought a bunch of battle packs and the Freeco Speeder for now.

Stopped by Toys r us today, and had the manager check the list for their next 2 trucks, and all the new Star Wars sets were on Friday night's truck. Looks like I'll be at the store when it opens Saturday. It was kind of funny watching my wife's face when he was reading the descriptions and prices from the computer. I'm hoping she is still asleep when I go Saturday, so she doesn't witness the damage to my wallet first hand.

Supposedly the TRU here doesn't have the new sets either, but that's okay. I'd rather wait for them to come to Wal-mart or Target and pay up to $10 fewer for each set.

I'll have to check the Wal-Mart here and see if they have the midi falcon for $25.
